Don't use!! Booked through DETAIL.com, and don't use that either. Purchased the Premium interior for $285. Expected car to be like new inside. It wasn't!!! Had it done while I was working from home so couldn't do a complete check but did find spots still on the seats that I had them take care of and commented that seats seemed very dry. Asked if they shampooed them. They said yes. When I was able to thoroughly check it, I could still see some spots on the seats. I grabbed my Bissel spot cleaner and did the front passenger seat. One of the pictures is what came out. How did they shampoo it and I still get all that out?!? The seats had to be only surface cleaned at best!! The windows were not good. Edges not done, trim around window not wiped, streaks. This seemed like a basic value cleaning that should have cost maybe $150. I contacted DETAIL.com and reported the issue. Asked for a RE-DO. They came back and offered me a $50 refund and a RE-DO was not possible. What a joke!! Never use DETAIL.COM!! read more

We did not have a good experience. It was a gift and the car did not look even shampooed or vacuumed. We had to have them come out again, which was better, but they did not call back to discuss the damage they caused to the gear shifter. There were crumbs still all around the seats and wheel. This was not a cheap service, and we expected more of response when we were not satisfied the first time around. I would not use! read more

His prices are inflated and beware of damage done to your vehicle, scratches everywhere. WARNING: Do not work with Mr. Waters. He has worked at multiple garages and renamed and moved his "businesses". He is very flakey and does extremely shoddy work. Seems like a dropout kid who tried to open his own business in his buddy's garage. Does not understand business dynamics or even common courtesy. Uses cheap parts and he will ignore you if/when they fail. I am embarrassed to say that I trusted him with my vehicle. He belongs in small claims court. Came here with high hopes. Left dissatisfied and angry. Went here to get the emblems on my Jeep plasti dipped Black. The letters/emblems were initially plasti dipped n blue. The Job took about 2 hours. When I returned to view the results; I noticed that the blue plasti dip letters were still blue. I asked the guy Nick if he could removed the blue dip to which he replied "I'd have to charge you an extra $100". I became highly angry because I realized that it was 1...a lazy job ..2...he was trying to rip me off. I refused to pay extra because the whole point of the job was to remove the old and cover the new without any residue/old dip showing. I then realized that my Jeep had this deep scratch as if it were keyed. When I asked about it, he denied having anything to do with it and said that I did it and prbly didn't noticed and that he had video footage of it already being there. I asked if he could show me and he became very reluctant to do so. Only showing me screenshots with glare on it. Never showed me the full video of my Jeep when it initially came in. I literally took photos of my Jeep before hand to make sure that everything would b the same. There were no scratches what so ever on it. the police got involved at this point & he then became nervous as he was on his was trying to offer some type of deal and trying to call off the police. the police and a police officer came to only tell us that it was a civil matter between us two and that we had to work something out. So he took a measly $50 off, charging me half instead of trying fix the scratch. I know this is a long review but I wanted to make it thorough just so everyone else can see who and what they're dealing with. The guys name is Nick. I wouldn't recommend him to my worse enemy. Terribly poor service. Always take photos and videos to show proof and read the reviews. The amount of money it'll cost to sue this guy wouldn't be worth it. He know he's wrong. Just had Stage1 detail service . They were on time nice guys interior looked great . The exterior had a few things missed. I have a 2007 GMC Yukon XL Denali top of vehicle was not clean. Looked like a couple of swipes near the front but was dirty so was the sunroof. One side of the trim along roof looks like they forgot to clean polish off. And I thought the chrome rimes would look a little better. They where streaky and that is what I mentioned to one of the gentlemen when he asked if I had anything they could concentrate on. Back tailgate door in inside was dirty missed cleaning it. Only other thing is advise if using a credit card that there will be a fee. You did split the fee after we talked which was fair . Should probably post on your website fee for credit card. For some reason could not upload photos. read more

Bought a car for my daughter and the cloth upholstery was a mess, liquid spills, dog hair everywhere, engine grease/oil. It looked like it had not been vacuumed or wiped down in years. They made it look showroom ready, really amazing. Good communication, prompt work, great job and what I believe to be a fair enough price. I don't plan on ever letting a car get that bad but if something explodes in one of my vehicles I'd definitely call on them again. read more

Firstly, my problem is not with the service performed it is with the business practices of the company. Charging more than contracted to be specific. Contracted for an on-site detailing of my Harley via CarDetailing.com, they in turn contracted with Xclusive Detailing to have that work performed. The price was set and agreed to on the website for the services to be performed. I specifically stated that I needed the tech to arrive either before 9AM or after 10AM (I had a meeting I needed to attend) - and the tech showed up at 9:30, smack dab in the middle of the hour I didn't want them to arrive. Once the work was done I was presented with a bill that was for more than as it included a 5% "Service Fee" because I was using a card to pay for the work. In Illinois you cannot charge ANY "Service Fee" because payment is being made by a Debit Card. You can charge NO MORE THAN 4% if a credit card is being used. Any such fees MUST also be listed as a separate line item on the receipt. Just an FYI - I am not aware of ANY Card Processing company, bank, etc. that charges more than 2.xx% (i.e., less than 3%) for a credit card transaction so anything above that amount is simply additional profit for the business. Good customer service would dictate that the customer is informed IN ADVANCE of any additional fees, etc. that are going to be charged and otherwise NOT surprise the customer with these fees at the time of payment. When I objected to the fee I was told by the employee who performed the work that if he did not charge the fee that it would be deducted from his pay. This is also a violation of labor laws in this state. So I went ahead and paid the bill with the fee included as I did not want the tech to have to pay for forcing the removal of this illegal and unethical fee and then asked for and given the owner's number (Nick) so I could address the issue with him. When the transaction was done I then had to provide, for the third time now, my e-mail address to get a copy of the receipt - that receipt never arrived so I cannot know if at least one part of the law was being followed. When I communicated with Nick he stated he had no knowledge of the laws in Illinois on this matter - which basically means his 5% surcharge on card purchases was tacked on just because he wants to make more $$$. He did offer and provide a refund for the surcharge amount I paid. When I communicated with CarDetailing.com I learned that charging ANYTHING over and above the agreed upon price for the service offered on their website is something that is EXPRESSLY FORBIDDEN in the contract which Nick agreed to and signed with CarDetailing.com so therefore not only was Nick violating the law in Illinois, he was also breaching his contract with the company he got my job from. Thus, if I could, I would give 5 stars for the work performed and ZERO stars for customer service, but I can't so that's why the three stars. Personally I will not knowingly do business with a business that has no trouble violating their contracts and who, at best, is not acquainted with the laws that relate to their business as that shows a lack of interest in abiding by those laws. Companies that treat their customers AND employees fairly and with respect as though they are valued by the company are who I choose to do business with. This company fails my expectations in that regard. read more

Nick & his cadre of fastidious auto-detailing professionals did a great job on our family's van. I am mightily impressed by Nick's attention to particulars, getting down into the nitty-gritty! I pride myself on keep my vehicles clean to begin with, but Nick & his team gave my (old) ride new life. He gave it a new shine also--- as he unilaterally upgraded the wax treatment applied to this car based on its metallic clear-coat nature.
