I started out with getting my eyebrows micro bladed & also getting my eyelashes done. Coco has become very rude to me over the past visits. Actually upon entering I said Hello to her on my last visit and she just ignored me. Never responded. Never spoke a word to me my whole visit.Now mind you my visit was one hour. All her other customers that came in she spoke to them. Started a conversation with them. Even though they weren't there to see her. I feel like she is bias. I definitely don't recommend. Since she acted as though she didn't want me there. Let me spend my money elsewhere. Where I am not treated rudely. I want to feel appreciated.

She was great and did a nice job on my legs and feet. She has strong hands and wanted to ensure she was applying the right amount of pressure while she was massaging my lower legs and feet. She put large slices of fresh cucumber on my legs then massage the mushy cucumber into your legs (see attached pic: left leg has cucumber slices on and right leg she had already started massaging the cucumber/juice). I loved that! Pedicure consisted of clean up, callus removal, mint mask, hot towel wrap and massage again with "butter". All the items seemed natural and smelled great. She also did a nice job in the color application. Will be back!

I showed her some inspiration and she just nailed it. I expected to be there for only a couple hours but it ended up being close to 4 hours. Let me tell you, she is meticulous. Pre-wedding: Due to covid my husband and I ended up changing the date. I purposely chose the new date around Autumn's availability. I will continue to say this in my review, but she is incredibly talented and will be my MUA person forever and the person I recommend to everyone. The package I chose for myself included lash extensions, so a couple days before the ceremony, I went to her studio and had them done. They turned out amazing. If you've never had them done before, I highly recommend. You wake up feeling pretty and your photos are all the more amazing. Wedding day: She and her assistant showed up on time and with such enthusiasm. I initially asked her to do my hair and makeup, my mom's hair and make up and my step daughter's hair. Last minute, we asked her to do my sister's hair and makeup and she made it work! Super accommodating. I also want to note that I requested that she use a particular setting powder I own because I know it works for my skin type and it is something that is reliable. She didn't even question or try to push her make up on me - she was more than happy to use it and loved the way it looked. This woman does not stop. I swear she was doing hair and makeup from 10am - 4pm without stopping. I think at one point, I made her take a quick break! Again, she not only make me feel like a queen, but I felt like I was hanging out with a girlfriend I had known for years. Pricing: Affordable and no hidden costs. Worth. Every. Penny. My first lashes appointment was with Fernanda and they looked great, but they all fell out when I went on vacation and my face was assaulted by the wind and salt water of the Pacific - I also didn't know you have to wash them to prevent oily buildup, so yeah. I came back two weeks later with literally no extensions left and had to pay for a full set all over again rather than a touch-up. I do wish they had told me about needing to wash them, because I really wasn't provided with the full aftercare instructions the first time I got them. But, now I know. They sell a special foam wash and gentle applicator for the soap here, which I recommend purchasing. My second session was with Viktoriia, who is absolutely incredible. Mynx & Inks is definitely out of the way if you live in DC, but it's worth it for the fair pricing and amazing quality.
