This is my go to massage place in the area - highly recommend. Clean, usually has availability, and is good quality.

I heard a man at checkout saying they could not add a mandatory 20 percent tip. But they did it to my bill as well. Did not ask how much I wanted to leave. Because people complained I think they have stopped doing that. The only way you could control your tip was to pay in cash ...now I see they've gone up $10 an hour. They do a decent job but sometimes cannot understand you. Sometimes you can hear people talking loudly and or snoring next-door. Occasional raised voices at customers. they definitely have a preference for certain customers who I believe probably leave a premium tip. I dont mind tipping but they should be getting a basic salary from the owner/supervisor of the business. Customers cannot be expected to make up for an inadequate salary. read more

I was having back spasms and decided I needed to book an appointment for a massage! It was easy for me to get an appointment the day of. I found the pricing to be very reasonable. I didn't get the woman's name who did my massage but she really Worked on my back and made it feel so much better.! The place is small but clean. Plenty of parking. Like a lot of businesses they charged a credit card fee on top of my massage. I would recommend Persimmon! I plan on going back! read more

Possibly the best therapeutic massage I've ever experienced! I had a 60 minute massage & I requested strong pressure for my aches. This was strong & at times could be a moment of discomfort, but I know for me, that's important to achieve release of deep muscle tension. The end result was feeling amazing!!! I just had an excellent professional massage at Persimmon Spa with Judy(?) It's located at the end of the Olney shopping center near TJ Maxx. Plenty of free parking. I called today (Saturday) & was able to get scheduled for an hour long deep tissue massage for only two hours later. Judy met me on time at the front desk and took me to a clean, private, quiet room, with relaxing music. I undressed down to my skivvies and she had me lay down on the massage table, completely covered me up with warm blankets and give me a half hour deep tissue massage with the covers on to help warm up my body. She then used some light oil for the next half hour to finish off the massage and then wiped it off with nice warm towels. Felt amazing afterwards and was well worth the very inexpensive $60/hour. Gave her a 50% tip as it was the best massage I've ever had. Ladies, this is a safe and clean establishment to send your men for an excellent professional massage. Cheers! DocMikeChiro read more

I booked a last minute Valentine's Day reservation for a 60 minute massage. It was so good I extended the time to 90 minutes. The massage was a combination of deep tissue and acupressure. Afterwards I felt so relaxed and wanted to book again immediately! It's a great addition to our community and the perfect place to relax and unwind. Best 2 hour massage in my whole life by Cindy. I went in and explained my problem areas, and came out feeling brand new. I have rheumatoid arthritis, so the pressure and areas were important so as to not hurt but at the same time gets done Ks the kinks out. I had a combo of the walking on my back and hand massage. Cindy was attentive and asked me through out if the pressure was okay. I'm from Texas and since I have come home I am desperate to find the same Cindy and spa here! The staff was friendly, the spa was clean, the ambiance was relaxing and the scent was refreshing on the fragrance used. I'm definitely coming back when we are in town. read more

I asked if they could extend it for even a week and I was met with a firm and rude no, it must be used in the year. What a waste of a Mother's Day gift last year. One session with Apple and I was all fixed up. She blended techniques and gave such meticulous attention to the exact muscles that needed it. I could tell she had a sophisticated level of training from multiple disciplines of manual therapy. Not to mention, the overall user experience was fantastic. This is a relatively new place in Olney. Our first visit was less than optimal. There was language issues (they're Chinese) that prevented us from having a good massage. This was rectified for our most recent. It was AMAZING!. We've had lots of massages, and I'd say this was in the top 5 ever. Very clean, very responsive to directions. One of the two (we always do couples massage) spoke great English and made sure the other masseuse knew exactly what my wife wanted and the experience was 180 degrees out from our first one. I had an opportunity to be in Olney and since my upper back and shoulders were hurting from weeks of sitting on a not so ergonomic chair, decided to get a massage. The Olney Village Center had a new spa called Persimmon Spa next to Dino's Hair Salon. I did a walk-in and found that the Spa was still brand new with pastel colors, advertising massage, eyebrow work like micro-blading and many such women friendly aesthetic services. I checked with the front desk to ensure that they had massage services for gentlemen as well and booked an appointment for an hour. The rooms were very clean but a tad bit cozy with the same pink color theme with well padded massage beds, high quality linen and multilayered including a soft fleece blanket. Well air-conditioned room with hot towel warmer located inside. My therapist was Cici who was warm, personable with minimum spoken English but was able to follow my instructions for strong pressure for the upper back and neck. What surprised me was her skill in delivering both acupressure and swedish styles mixed deep massage but also a variety of Thai massage techniques involving stretching my entire body. A bargain at 60 dollars an hour considering how much Thai massage and deep tissue would cost elsewhere. I highly recommend and would repeat when I am in the neighborhood. read more
