Great place, great ambience and great system. The best golf simulator I've played and I'll certainly be going back.

Their menu is a small book of interesting, and priced as such, cocktails. Each has a fun name. They do offer a small list of beer and wine, and obviously you can order a standard drink as well. They have a few snack offerings, but there is no full menu. A friend and I went at the right time, the late end of happy hour on a Friday, but before any crowd. We did not have a reservation, but they were quiet when we arrived and we were seated immediately. They do have a 90 minute table limit for busy nights. The service was fantastic all around. We both enjoyed our drinks and the atmosphere. This may be the best place in Rochester for a drink.

Very small basement bar with limited seating and a speakeasy vibe. Very dark for that speakeasy…read morevibe so can be difficult to read their limited specialty drink menu. No real food offerings but that's not what this place is about. It's about weird or rather eclectic mixed cocktails for $18 a pop. They do offer a charcuterie board, cheese board and some limited foodstuffs. If you won't get a sandwich or a meal here. This is a cocktail bar. I tried the sleepy hollow which is a modified old fashioned with a "butter washed" bourbon and a torched marshmallow on a stick just sitting on the rim. Wasn't sure what to do with the mallow. Ended up dipping and eating it. The drink however I sent back. It was sooo sweet; tasted like syrup. They did replace it with a standard old fashioned which was fine. They do give you your bill in a book. Like an actual book to read, which is a "novel" idea. (Sorry couldn't help myself). Bartenders are engaging and aim to please as well. The worst parts; limited seating, overly dark, expensive, too many cocktail bars in the area that are pretty much the same, and no real personality that sets it apart from the others in this town.

The Hemmingway Room - Key Lime Pie looks better than it tasted. Less whipped cream, more lime flavor would be better.

We had a nice table which started quiet and proceeded to get louder and more vibrant as the night went on. Service was fine and fast throughout. She had the Smoky Maintain which was strong enough for her to ask for an extra splash of pineapple juice. I had an Amaretto Sour which was nicely presented and tested good enough. It wasn't as strong as hers though. She ordered their Salmon Bowl which had both teriyaki and boom boom sauce; tasted good and was an ample size. My steak and frites came. The steak itself needed a little more seasoning and could have been larger but the truffle fries were top shelf. The chimichuri sauce was good too. The key lime pie for dessert presented well, but it packed the tartness one wants. There was too much whipped cream and not enough lime. That was the only real disappointment. Everything else was pretty great. A 4.6 rounds to 5.

I ordered the Tiger's Milk tiki drink, which came in a cool cup and was garnished with lots of fruit. I thought it was delicious! I could see this place being the perfect spot for a date night!

I really don't know how to rate this place.I'm so confused. I've been meaning to come here for a…read morewhile, but always forget. Finally stumbled in on a Sunday afternoon, and secretly loved it here. When I walked in, I immediately thought "is this an off shoot of Red Coat Tavern before it was Red Coat Tavern? Why does it look like a Mafia place from the 1970's with a 1995 sports bar feel?" I find I'm still thinking about this place even days later. No, it's not the coolest place in town, but I kind of like it because it's a typical bar with regulars and randoms like me. I decided to grab a mid afternoon bite and didn't want to be bothered with the usual places as I have grown tired of them. Also, there's this new thing called Yelp Cash Back, and this was the closest place to me that does it, and since I don't know much about Yelp Cash Back, I wanted to see if it really worked. Anyways, I scoured the menu and found a BBQ burger that sounded right up my alley. The bartender was also my server, and she was miraculously running the whole area by herself. Mind you, when I got here, it was dead. There was me, in a booth far far away, and two older dudes who were clearly regulars watching football on the TV's over the bar. Clearly, the two guys and the bartender were familiar with each other, and I secretly loved it, and watched as they interacted amoungst each other. Gave me a cheers feeling that sometimes you don't always find anymore. My burger came out with fries, and it was a okay. Nothing exciting really, but good non the less. I polished it off with the fries and downed a sprite since I wasn't in the mood to have any booze. Another reason I like this place is because it seems to be douchebag free. Honest good people without an agenda. As time went on during my meal, more people started rolling in. Some of them were regulars, as they were warmly greeted by name from the bartender, and asked if she could get them their "usual" beer and meal. Again, loved it. I should also give my props to the bartender. She was hilarious without knowing it. When I walked in, she greeted me immediately, and asked how I was doing. After my eyes adjusted to the light, I realized she was bundled up in about 12 coats, a hoodie, and stated that she was freezing since the cold air was blasting her every time the door opened. I have no clue what this place is like when it's busy, but it's a nice casual atmosphere. I would gladly return in the future even though it's not the most remarkable place in town, but I still love it. The food was decent, loved the atmosphere and for $9, I got a burger, fries and a Sprite. $9!

I used to work in Rochester but have never stopped in here…read more We met some friends downtown to walk around the shops & see the lights. They wanted to grab dinner somewhere & suggested this place. It does have the typical sports bar type feel, but our server was friendly & helpful! My husband & I had tried a new Mexican restaurant earlier in the day & we're still pretty full from that so we just ordered chicken noodle soup, French onion soup, sweet potato fries & southwest eggrolls. The soups were good, the sweet potato fries were cooked & seasoned with cinnamon sugar perfectly, & the southwest eggrolls were delicious! Our friends got their boneless wings & the Mahoney melt on a gluten free bun with tots. They both enjoyed their meals & I tried the tots which were perfectly crispy & had a yummy seasoning on them! I would definitely come back to try more food! Another note is that I hate using public bathrooms, but we had our 6 month old daughter with us & she needed changed so I took her into the bathroom. It was actually super clean which is a huge bonus!

Our food ended up taking forever to come out so we were rushed to hurry up and eat and leave when it came out. For appetizers we got the chips and dip and salads. The dip had a long piece of hair in it and we immediately sent it back and the waiter looked at us like we were crazy for not wanting it. The salads were pretty good - big portion with lots of fresh toppings and dressing. For entrees we got the buffalo chicken sandwiches and the grilled chicken plate. My mom asked for no buffalo and it came with buffalo on it so she didn't love it. Mine on the other hand was pretty average. It was a large portion and had a good amount of toppings on it that altogether was very flavorful. I did ask for ranch on the side when i ordered and it took awhile for it to come out. The chicken plate was just about the only good dish we had. It came with a good spread of well prepared food and was a healthy option on the menu. The worst part of this experience was when we asked for bags for left overs the waiter told us to go get it ourselves so we had to awkwardly go behind the bar to grab it. Overall the service was terrible- everyone was rude. The food was slightly above average but with the hair in it and messing up our orders i would not recommend. Even though this is in prime location there are so many better options in the area. I could see this place having potential for coming for drinks with all the tvs or on the rooftop in the summer but thats about it.
