Cousins opening day 4/3/19, $10 for 9 holes- can't be beat!

Five stars based on value and the experience. Always a good value and friendly folks. I have been playing these links for over a decade. It has become my favorite spot based on location, value, staff and being an unpretentious club. 2019 celebrates 49 years in business; family owned third generation now. Obviously doing something right. Its a well run and maintained course. No frills nor impeccable fairways, but decent and a great value. Just an awesome home course with great customer service; giving opportunity to play many times throughout the season without breaking the bank. Investment is ongoing into the club. Last year new power carts, this year new pull cart caddies. I noticed drainage work being done my first round out in '19. You can find a bathroom as well as portable johns amongst the 27 holes. The clubhouse has a bar and eats. I haven't eaten here yet, one day I will. Check the website for fish fry Friday's and sign up to be on the email list while you're at it. There is banquet facilities available for all your event needs.

First time here. Course was dry and grass sparse on many fairways . Been better places for less money.

Fish fry excellent on Fridays! Great couple that cook it up. Perch is a favorite! Fresh, delicious, great coleslaw.

Course is in great shape and pace of play moves along. They have 27 holes and the starter does a nice job spreading out the foursomes.

Great courses... Found to be easy but fun, some challenge on gold course. Winter rates of $7 can't be beat.

I spent three nights in the hotel (which was very nice) in a room with a deck overlooking the golf course--so did enjoy the game vicariously. I ate at two of the three restaurants and attended a wedding and reception. Food was excellent at both restaurants and at the reception. At Emilio's Prime I enjoyed a wonderful beet/field green/goat cheese salad and a very tasty filet mignon Oscar. The crab appeared to have been sautéed instead of just boiled which added another dimension of flavor. The wine list was quite extensive and offered wines at a variety of price levels. They served the sorbet with champagne which I'd never experienced before. I took my yummy lemon meringue pie back to my room. I also ate twice at The Tin Cup where I had a chicken sandwich with a nice rosemary mayo and a Wagyu burger--both were excellent. The buffet at the reception was also very tasty as well as piping hot, nicely presented and never empty. Most impressive throughout my stay was the outstanding service--from the front desk staff to the organizers, servers and bartenders at the restaurants, wedding and reception. Staff were very friendly, accommodating and professional. The bartenders who served me lunch also served drinks at the reception and were delightful young women (their names escape me). Heather in The Tin Cup was very nice, friendly and provided more excellent service. Bonus--while having dinner at Emilio's, I met the man (Michael McMath) who painted the murals throughout the facility. I'm visiting from out of state but if I have the occasion to return to the area will plan to stay and/or eat here again.

Disappointed I can't afford to pay these astronomical prices for basically a decent public course that takes a long time to play and greens and tee boxes that are slightly above average. I'm sure they will keep getting the business because it's the only course in the area, but pricing out the regulars is a bummer.

The session was both fun and educational. I was able to improve my swing with George's assistance. We appreciated how well George was able to work on giving us all good pro tips to help us with our technique. After the private coaching session, we opted to do another 60 mins at a driving bay. This was nice because as we waited for the bay to be available, we visited the cafe / grille inside. Our bay was ready before our food and drinks order so our server brought it out to us once it was ready, awesome. The food was decent, not over delicious, but decent. Overall, this is a great group experience for family and friends. This location is nice. I am so excited for them to open up in San Diego, CA!

The Sonic game quickly became our favourite, and the addition of the field goal target was such a fun surprise. Staff was awesome, super friendly and attentive. We ordered the nachos and they were delicious, and the rest of the menu looked pretty fantastic too. The margaritas were great; lots of flavour options, and you can choose salt, sugar, or tajín on the rim, which is a nice touch. Highly recommend this spot to anyone, even if you barely golf (or don't golf at all). It's just a fun time all around. Great vibes here! The restaurant and golf course are immaculately kept and make for a scenic dining experience. Note that the restaurant is split up into two separate areas, one for larger groups and one for smaller dining. We had wanted to sit in the larger group area because it seemed like more fun, but instead we were seated on the other side and it was only us over there. The menu looked delicious and as we were both famished, we had quite the time figuring out what to order. Everything always sounds so good when you're hungry. We both ended up ordering the burger (with gluten free bun); mine with greek salad and hers with caesar. Decent burger, I would get it again. Service was friendly, but the food did take a while, especially for what we ordered. Must have been because of the other side being busy. Washrooms were clean and easy to find. The parking lot is also big with lots of extra large/long spots so if you're pulling a boat or trailer you could stop in with lots of room. We didn't do dessert so I can't speak to that. Will definitely be back to try some other things.

The patio caters to those golfing and is open to the public. They have an indoor dining restaurant along with two very large outdoor covered patios. They also have an outdoor pizza oven. We were seated at one of the long tables outside which was perfect for your group. It is a fairly typical menu and I opted for the burger (two patties) with fries. The presentation was quite good and I liked that the burgers had a nice sear on the patties. There was no issue with the service and our server was pleasant. My only criticism is that they did not have an IPA on tap, which is a shame with so many local craft breweries in the area. It was a positive dining experience and happy to recommend White Squirrel if in Grand Bend and want a nice meal in a beautiful setting.

Seeing it grow into the beautiful 18-hole layout it is today has been great to watch. The course itself is short but surprisingly challenging, which makes it fun for golfers of every level. The mature trees lining many of the fairways and the well-placed water hazards keep you thinking on almost every shot. It's the kind of course where strategy matters just as much as power. The greens are consistently in excellent condition, some of the best-maintained in the area, and they roll true. It's clear that a lot of pride goes into keeping the course looking great. After the round, the restaurant is a must-stop. The food is excellent, and I'm not exaggerating when I say even the hot dogs are fantastic. They also have a great selection of cold beer, both on tap and bottled. The staff is friendly, fun, and attentive. It is a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The owner deserves a lot of credit. He's done a terrific job building the business and clearly cares about the course, the players, and the Port Sanilac community. If you're anywhere near Port Sanilac and looking for a round of golf, Huron Shores is absolutely worth the stop. It's one of those places that keeps you coming back.
