After lengthy discussion where she insisted I was in the wrong and she was correct, she told us that there were 2 tables available and she could seat us........why not lead with that?? Suggestion: "oh, I don't see a reservation in that name. Perhaps there was some sort of miscommunication. Luckily there are 2 different table options. Give me a couple minutes to get one cleaned and set and we'll get you seated asap". Next, the bartender came to deliver our wine and said "which of you ladies messed up and called the wrong restaurant?" ???? Again much better communication would have included "oh, Im so glad we could get you seated tonight" What an interesting way to greet customers..... Anyway, the food was good and our server was very pleasant so Im giving them a 3.

I had my heart set on anything salmon, it's my favourite, so I ordered the salmon sashimi, philly roll, salmon roll and a seaweed salad. It tasted fresh, not fishy at all, and delicious. My boyfriend ordered the jalapeno popper wontons, seaweed salad, and an avocado roll, all of which were delicious. All in all, the food was delicious, the service was fast and friendly, the prices were more on the expensive side, being that Grand Bend is more of a touristy kind of beach town that attracts a lot of people. I've never dined in, even after they moved to their new location, and the owners have never seen me since I don't personally pick up the orders. However, I was accused--without any proof--of stealing a toy or item from them. The owners claimed they had served me and insisted it was me based solely on my accent and name. No explanation or argument over the phone changed their mind. I was told that unless there is another person in Grand Bend with the same name and a strong accent, it had to be me. Full stop. So, to all you wonderful contributors to our local economy who happen to have an accent--beware!

The last time I ate in was very close to Halloween 2018 and from when we first walked in until we left, it got worse almost by the minute. When we walked in there was no server there at all so we waited at the front & the server came in & out of the kitchen a few times to get things for the only other couple in there, but he completely ignored us. So finally I called out to him telling him we wanted to eat in, he glared at us like we were some how interrupting him. Finally we got him to take our order and that was no easy task. We both had to repeat what we wanted and when I told him it would be all on 1 bill he looked at me like I had two heads and put it on 2 bills anyway. The worst part was that our server was pretty much out of it, I knew he wasn't drunk but his eyes were all bloodshot and it seemed to take everything he had to focus and pay attention to us. He was constantly on his cell phone. I don't know if he was playing a game, texting or on Facebook other people in Pizza Delight also noticed how he seemed not to be with us and to get his attention you had to go over to him, and in a restaurant that small that should not happen. He definitely didn't want to be there and made us not want to be there, I'm pretty sure I won't be eating in there again unless it's new people who own it and I know he doesn't work there. I doubt I'll even get take out from there, I'm a Celiac and he told me that they use the same pans for both and they do not separate the toppings so you think you're eating something that's not going to bother you and after I was finished eating he tells me they don't even bother to put things in simple way and have a pans that are just for Gluten free pizza. By that time I had to walk out quickly or I was going to lose my temper and yell at him when he at least let me know. It's taken me so long to post this review because I thought I already had, maybe it was on another site that I go on where they ask you to review stores, restaurants and products you've tried already.
