Best sushi house in Grand Bend. Wait this is the only sushi restaurant in GB. Even so really good stuff. Everything was spot on delicious.

Love this place, their sushi are so unique and yummy and I would definitely come back! They also have a cute patio if you are ever feeling like sitting outside and eating sushi!! The staffs are so responsive and nice and definitely go try it out!! Also try their ice cream, if you are a big matcha fan then definitely try their matcha ice cream!!

In Grand Bend to reconnect with an old friend and he was raving about Midori so headed here for lunch. It sits on the Main Street with plenty of foot traffic. They have a nice large patio and I can understand why it is often quite busy. The staff were friendly and attentive and no issues with the service. Residing in Vancouver, we have so many sushi establishments so I will refrain from any comparisons. I ordered the kamikaze roll and a tuna roll. The taste was okay and the presentation was quite good. Pleasantly surprised to find this little gem in Grand Bend and happy to recommend Midori.

Spicy salmon crunch roll for $13. Overpriced and sad looking

Ordered takeout tonight from Midori and was very disappointed. The other photos and reviews looked super promising so we were excited. Got the spicy salmon crunch roll for $13 and it was underwhelming to say the least. It was tiny, not filling, bland (and over priced!). See photo.

Quick service with cute view of the street. Comfy cushioned seating with covering. I loved it here. No pushy waitress. A time capsule of chill and foodie delights

This is my first visit to its new location , and I must say I was anxious to try it. This is the nicest looking most inviting restaurant on the strip , location location location! So be prepared to pay a premium for the charming surroundings. The service is excellent , severs very attentive and the food comes out hot, fast and fresh. Tried the spring rolls , ( very tiny ) the tempura shrimp and their signature Kamikaze roll. Very tasty and super hot ( I love hot food , who doesn't ?) couple minor criticisms , they only provide one sauce for dipping appetizers , which is a spicy hot chilli Thai , I could buy that a Costco .... The tempura should have included a milder offering but that's the other disappointment , tempura should be traditionally breaded in Panko crumbs. This was clearly another version of some this doughy bread coating. Tasted okay but not what one would expect. But definitely give it a try, I may be back again as well. See you there !

i have been to midori probably 7-8 times at least, i love it! the sushi is very yummy, i think its a reasonable price too for the size and taste. on wednesdays they have live entertainment too which is super fun. the servers are very nice as well

    Beautiful venue

Surprisingly delicious sushi in a divey beach town! Not traditional sushi where you can order individual pieces. Not much raw fish. But the rolls are really tasty! Dynamite roll was great, eel and crab roll was nice as was a veggie roll we tried. Spring roll were nothing special but the egg roll was worth the $4 price tag- a beautiful tasty bite! Don't waste your money on martinis-2 oz of room temp booze. Yuck. Beautiful space and knowledgeable friendly wait staff!

Some genuinely novel sushi creations at Midori. There will be flavour combinations here that you will never experience at any other conventional sushi places. Try the sashimi shots.

Kamikaze Sushi Roll is to die for. Melts in your mouth!

Excellent food but service is glacially slow. I may die of hunger before my food arrives. Was it worth the wait? I think so.

After 'Jammer re-modeled and re-opened it seems like the menu has been renovated and rejeuvenated as well as the dining area. At Sunday Brunch, we noticed some sushi rolls and we were thinking an extension of grocery store fare -- boy were we wrong. The seared bluefin is something I cannot have enough of. We made arrangements to sit a 16-course Omakase (Chef's Choice) and had such a great dinner that we made reservations for another on our way out. Anyone, well, most any trained chef, can cut up fish. Getting good, sushi quality fish and then having them made into combinations that blossom into delightful bites is not something that you can easily find. We were presented with three different pieces of mackeral and rated them on taste, saltiness, etc. They say a picture is worth many words, so see some of what we were eating (it's more difficult to take, & track, pictures while you are enjoying a meal -- and my intent was to enjoy the meal, so my apologies if I've mislabeled any of the pictures). My partner and I decided to celebrate the end of our quarantine period by ordering some take-out from Roll Roll. The call was quick and easy and pick up was extremely sanitary. I waited outside for the patrons before me to complete their order, and the hostess took time to sanitize everything before I entered. I didn't need to touch anything besides the platter, and the sanitized debit machine. Now...the sushi...my goodness!! We ordered the small combo platter. While a bit more expensive than other places, I absolutely LOVE their spin on sushi. I believe they included: -The Bruce Roll which was crab meat, cucumber inside torched salmon & jalapeno on top (Super tasty!) -Roll Roll Roll - Shrimp Tempura, cucumber, avocado inside, spicy crabmeat on top (This was my favourite!) -California roll and some salmon sushi and a few bites of sashimi Overall, the platter was presented beautifully with some cute accents of dried fruit and greens and it was filling for the 2 of us. If you are looking for a great local spot for some take-out during your social isolation, roll on into ROLL ROLL!

Here's what I ordered:. Provided them with the tray for my take-out order: 1- Spicy Butterfish Roll on separate tray as it is spicy $8.50 On the second tray: 1 -. Scorpion Roll. $14.00 1 each California Roll Tuna Avocado Roll Salmon Roll. $16.00 I've attached a picture of the two trays received. The fish in these were paper thin. Very disappointed, despite of other reviews from others reviews of high praises. The food they served was barely enough to feed my 13 year old daughter. When I personally ordered this earlier in the day.... I asked if my order of 5 rolls was enough to feed 4 people with me also preparing pizza .... I was told it was more than enough. Although this picture shows there were a lot... That was because, I had requested them to cut them smaller for people to eat with braces on their teeth easier to chew them. Therefore, they were just about 1 cm thick/thin each. Because this was not enough to feed the family, I spent another $55.00 at another restaurant plus the pizza I had already made ... I would not recommend this place nor be a repeat customer.
