They had a Clean facility, and were very polite. They also had Fair pricing in my opinion.

Worst balls you will ever hit. Every bucket is full of dull, way over used balls. Don't waste your money or time.

Like this place. The condition improved from the prior review 3 years ago. Nice people. Reduced price for seniors. Will go here again.

My family recently had a large memorial lunch for my uncle who passed. The golf club is gorgeous…read more It sets up on a hill and offers sweeping views of the greens surrounding it. The parking lot is massive, so parking wasn't an issue. The golf club itself is so large. It can hold multiple large events at one time. This is both a pro and a con. We were in one of the pretty large ballrooms as our party was nearly 200. The ballroom next to us was having a baby shower, and while it sounded like they were having a great time, and I love that for them, the music was so loud that we were struggling to talk over it in our event, which was a more somber occasion, so it really dampened our experience. While I don't believe our event was any more important than the other event, I do believe golf club staff should have a bit more of a pulse on the impact of simultaneous events on each each other. For food, we had chicken in with marsala sauce or piccata sauce, roast beef, roasted broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots, rolls with butter, roasted potatoes, and salad. I tried everything but the beef and would give the food three stars overall. The staff were very attentive and seemed to have good attitude and be working hard. They offered to clear my plate 1000 times. Instead of being annoyed since I was still eating, I just appreciated them doing their job diligently.

Marlene was a doll to work with and highly available for any questions or concerns. We have not heard one bad thing about the reception and we don't expect that we will! The hall comfortably seats about 168 (21 tables of 8); we had 195 in attendance at our reception (some tables of 10). Regardless, we did not have any complaints about guests feeling "squished" at tables or not having room to move between tables. The staff was able to configure the hall so that each and every person was comfortable and enoying themselves. There were two bartenders that staffed the bar and they did a great job with making sure the bar line was never more than two deep! (With the plated dinner or family style options, the bar does close for an hour during dinner so that the bartenders can help with serving dinner. ) We did family style for our dinner and our guests just raved about the amount of food and the quality of it. My uncle told me he never even picked up a knife to cut his roast beef or chicken - it was so tender he could use his fork for everything! My younger brother (football player) was also estatic that he could order another plate of roasted potatoes just for him! I would highly, HIGHLY recommend this location for receptions or showers, as it a beautiful location and priced much more reasonably than their local competitors (we really did our research as we paid for the wedding ourselves). This is a five star recommendation from an A-type personality bride! You will not be disappointed with your event at Burning Tree!

Lots of standing water on the course so cart path only on lots of holes. Overall it could be a decent course if they fix the greens. I would avoid after heavy rains though.

Updated 9/16/20…read more Unfortunately we experienced the over booking. 5:10 to play this track, which is not difficult. Ranger WERE NON-EXISTENT. Group 3 groups in front of us were waaaayyyy behind. When told at the turn, the starter asked what our tee time was. 2:50 on the front 9. He didn't say anything. Greens were super slow as well, not in good condition. Too bad, layout is a lot of fun. Gonna do a hard pass on stony til they get their act together.

I played this course for the first time in three years, and I wish I had read the Yelp reviews…read morebefore wasting my time and money. The customer service has always been disappointing. Years ago I found the easiest solution was letting my wife handle the staff because they were consistently rude. Apparently, nothing has changed. In fact, they've added the starter to the list. The course is in the worst shape I've ever seen. The tee boxes are more dirt than grass. The fairways look like they've lost a fight with Mother Nature, and the greens are slow, beat up, and nowhere near the condition you'd expect for the price. To be fair, I can't blame the course for every ball mark on the greens. I repaired at least 40 during my round. Unfortunately, it seems many golfers today don't know what a divot tool or a bunker rake is. That's becoming a problem at a lot of public courses. After the round, I asked the starter--who managed to be rude yet again--what happened to this course. Instead of answering the question, he completely changed the subject and started telling me the white spots inside the golf carts were calcium deposits because they don't have a water softener. Seriously? I wasn't asking about the carts. I was asking why the golf course looks like it's been abandoned. Thinking maybe someone in the clubhouse would actually care, I went inside. Wrong again. I was met with the same rude, defensive attitude. I was even told, "Nobody complains." Really? Spend five minutes reading the Yelp reviews. Apparently, I'm far from the first person to point out the obvious. I would have shown them the reviews on the spot, but the cell service out there is almost as bad as the golf course. This place used to be a course I'd recommend. Today it's a shadow of what it once was. Poor conditions can happen. Poor customer service is a choice. When you combine both, you've got a course that's living on its reputation instead of earning it. Do yourself a favor and spend your money somewhere that actually takes pride in the golf course and treats customers with a little respect. Until someone takes ownership and gets this place back to what it once was, this Rooster won't be crowing about it--I'll be playing somewhere else.
