To make things worse the marshal (Jeff) basically kicked us out after throwing a massive fit (Borderline assault) for playin together with another group. There were 8 carts backed up on a single tee box where were we to go? We helped the pace of play if anything it didn't make sense. We should have been the angry ones but after 7 hour we were out time regardless.

Lee became the second Korean in a row to win this event. Sung Kang won in 2019. The tournament wasn't held in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lee and Kang joined Sang-moon Bae, who won in 2013, as three Koreans to win the AT&T Byron Nelson in the last eight times the tournament was staged. Over that stretch, Australian Steven Bowditch and Spaniard Sergio Garcia won in 2015 and 2016, respectively, with Americans Brendon Todd (2014), Billy Horschel (2017), and Aaron Wise (2018) covering the other years. The first tournament was held in 1944 and won by Byron Nelson. Beginning in 1968, the tournament began using Texas-native's name in its title. This is one of four official Tour events officially associated with a golf legend. The other three are the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the Memorial Tournament (Jack Nicklaus), and the Genesis Invitational (Tiger Woods). The API, Memorial, and Genesis Invitational are slightly higher in status than the AT&T Byron Nelson. For example, those three tournaments are invitationals with slightly smaller and more selective fields. The Byron Nelson is a "regular" Tour event with standard qualifying. Also, as of 2021, those three tournaments award 550 FedEx Cup points to the winner. The Byron Nelson awards the standard 500 points. Finally, the API and Memorial award three-year Tour exemptions as opposed to the standard two years that this tournament awards. All that said, outside of the majors, The Players Championship, WGC (World Golf Championships) events, FedEx Cup playoff events, the aforementioned invitationals, and the CJ Cup (okay, that *is* 14 tournaments; the Tour schedule is just packed), as of 2021, the AT&T Bryon Nelson is tied with the Wells Fargo Championship with the highest purse at $8.1 million. It's good money, especially for the caliber of field that has typically competed in this event, certainly in recent years. The fields at the AT&T Byron Nelson typically don't include a lot of the biggest names, mainly because this event immediately precedes the PGA Championship. Previously, it was the event that immediately followed The Players. The AT&T Byron Nelson supports the Momentous Institute. Since aligning itself with Byron Nelson in 1968, the tournament has raised $167 million for the institute which "exists to build and repair social emotional health with children, families, and communities." Of all the tournaments on Tour, I believe the Byron Nelson has raised more funds for charitable causes than any other tournament. Such a fun experience!…read more As the mom of an 8-year-old boy who loves soccer, I'm so happy they opened this place. I reserved our box online ahead of time and also pre-ordered a kids meal and an adult meal. When we arrived, we checked in, got assigned our box, and my son received a (pre-purchased online) Toca Social medal. We watched the game introduction on the screen and were greeted by our fantastic server, Nico (not sure how she spells her name!). She explained how the kiosks worked and what the games are like. We were able to choose our own difficulty levels and pick from several different game options. My son and I had such a great time playing all of them - fun little workout too. I decided to wait until after our play session to eat, so once we finished, we moved over to a table near the bar for lunch. My son had the slider kids meal, and I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with brussels sprouts. Everything was delicious! The energy, customer service, and uniqueness of this business make it an easy 5 stars for me! :) We will definitely be returning!

We recently hosted a book club event here for a group of 24, and while the staff was friendly and…read moredid the best they could on what was clearly a busy night, the overall experience fell short. Our biggest issue was the space. All 24 of us were expected to eat, drink, and take turns playing in one small designated area. It quickly became overcrowded and uncomfortable. Every time someone went to play, others had to squeeze by those trying to eat, and several members of our group ended up barely touching their food because there simply wasn't enough room. To make matters more frustrating, one of the game bays kept malfunctioning. The soccer balls stopped dispensing, and we had to wait for a technician to fix it. Since our play time was timed, we lost valuable minutes just waiting for the game to work. The food was okay, but nothing particularly memorable. Honestly, the best part of the evening was simply spending time with our group. If I were to host another large event here, I would only do so if there were separate spaces for dining and gameplay. Trying to combine both in one small area didn't work well for a group our size. I still think Toca Social is a fun concept, and I'd return with a smaller group, but I don't think it's the best setup for larger gatherings based on this experience.
