What a wonderful place, Easy to use clean and a lot of fun when not wanting to be in the heat or cold.

We had our Daughters Baby Shower here a few weeks ago. First G-Baby coming soon!…read more We had @ 19 friends and family from around the country come in for the party. Everyone commented on how Heritage Ranch is so beautiful and inviting, from the moment you arrive at the entrance, to the drive to the clubhouse. And the staff! Just outstanding. The appetizers (fruit and veggies) and lunch burger bar were made to perfection. Open bar was an added delight, but even those who sipped on lemonade or tea were impressed. From the initial meeting with Patty, to the two gentlemen on the day of party (Octavio and Mitchell?), everything was perfect. They were such a great help and our friends mentioned how nice everyone was even walking through the halls. You can't go wrong with booking a party here at Heritage Ranch.

Unfortunately, our experience was made even more memorable by the course marshal, Dan, who passionately reminded us (multiple times) that joy and relaxation are not permitted here. He found it appropriate to yell in my 25 yo daughter's face, "everyone else here is trying to enjoy their day too!!!!" He's an older gentleman, and based on his behavior, we're genuinely concerned for his mental health and well-being. We're considering starting a GoFundMe for his much needed therapy sessions and organizing a weekly prayer circle to manifest some inner peace for him in 2026. In the meantime, if you're visiting, just know you may be treated like you're in military basic training, but hey, at least your short game will be tight under pressure. :) #scrooge (If I get enough reactions to this review, I'll post the audio /video of him yelling!)

A couple of groups of beginners, grabbing early tee times slowing the whole course for the day. The greens are still in winter condition, very rough shape. Hopefully those will grow in this spring.

Their reservation site even says there are limited spectator carts available, but spectators were shut down at the pro shop and told there were no carts available. It was obvious to anyone who has any experience with a well run golf course that there were carts available. The two pro shop guys, however, stubbornly stuck to their story that there weren't any. Additionally, the players were harassed by the course Marshall to hurry up their pace of play as they were falling a few minutes behind what the course believed the pace should be. The groups being harassed were waiting for the groups in front of them on every hole, so speeding up the pace would have been impossible. This is completely unnecessary and unprofessional behavior by a representative of a golf course holding a collegiate tournament. Eddie Haskell and Beaver Cleaver in the pro shop need to dial back on the spray tanning as the chemicals have clearly killed off brain cells. Those two couldn't problem solve their way out of a wet paper bag. What they lacked in ability to think outside the box, they sure made up for in being condescending and stubborn. I will not only never play this course, but will recommend friends and family avoid it as well. I would be shocked if the NCCGA ever uses this course for a future tournament.

We had our class with Chef Rick and he was absolutely phenomenal. We learned a lot and we got to eat a lot. It was my first time golfing, and we had a great time. The course is definitely challenging but all of the staff made us feel so welcomed and were so kind to us to make sure we had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself is stunning, the decor is really fitting for Texas and the level of service was really good everywhere we went. The food was fabulous and there were a variety of options all on property. The spa was one of my favorite parts and is super Upscale with lots of treatment rooms and amenities. Trick rider I felt was a bit overpriced and unfortunately overwhelmed on Valentine's Day but otherwise we had a lovely experience at the Omni PGA Frisco.

But there were a few people that have stood out. Cameron, who works at the front desk,, treated me with thoughtful. kind, and considerate care after recognizing that I had an issue with walking. He went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of. I also received wonderful customer service from Chris, the bartender at The Apron. He was simply delightful and did not steer me wrong with the food recommendation. The food was great! Additionally, Nicolas at the front desk was incredibly helpful when I needed something printed last minute. Overall, I have received excellent customer service throughout my stay that has helped to save me time and given me Peace of mind. I am thankful for my experience during my first day at the Omni PGA and had to share my experience so that others know that they will receive Great service when they come to this venue.

They had an archway for the couple to stand in front of and the side and back doors made entrances for the wedding party smooth and easy. After the ceremony everyone waited outside of the ceremony and reception halls for a cocktail hour. This was also really nice as there were chairs and even a roaring fireplace, and plenty of room to mingle and talk comfortably. The reception hall was much larger than I thought and with the dance floor and all of the tables it made for a beautiful scene. They had these large decorations hanging above the dance floor which were very pretty, and when I asked about them I was told that the club actually put those up on their own! The food was served buffet style with a carving station for the meats. The food was about what you would expect from a wedding - average. A good side note is that they have a children's room for club hours that has a full changing station with a sink if you're attending with a baby! This was very handy for me!

My wife and I came in on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch slash early dinner and overall the experience just left us asking, do we not get it? The vibe is cool and the space itself is nice. We didn't do the golf bays, but they look like the main draw and I can see how that would be fun with the right group. From an atmosphere standpoint, no real complaints. Food is where things fell apart a bit. We both ordered the Local Burger and it was mid at best. The bun completely fell apart and the fries were soggy, which is always disappointing when you're paying for something that's clearly trying to present itself as elevated bar food. It is weird that the menu is so limited. Usually fine with that cause it makes the food that is there much better, but that didn't happen this time. Service didn't help much either. The servers were all in their early 20s and spent a good amount of time texting and loudly talking at the end of the bar. I honestly don't care about that as long as service is still attentive, but that part was missed. Drinks sat empty longer than they should have and it just felt disengaged. Overall, it feels like a place that's trying to be fancier than it actually is. The food doesn't justify the hype and I'm guessing the golf bays are what really make this place worth it. I might come back if a friend wanted to go, but it wouldn't be my pick.
