The water is so clear. An incredible day with a high 70's and a mild cool breeze, made it a perfect day. You could see pockets of snow in the mountain valleys and an incredibly clear day. The leaves are turning and the yellows and reds are exploding. We spotted deer, bald eagles, hawks and martins. It was a spectacular weekend in Grand Teton National Park and the fall colors only added to the beauty. If you have a chance, get to the Grand Tetons for a glance at Roosevelt's dream of the beauty of the USA.

Jenny Lake boating, Colter Bay Village visitor's center, and Jackson Lake Lodge were all closed. The latter two even had all the restrooms boarded up! Bummer, especially since the weather was still super nice, sunny and 75°. Some of our favorite stops were Mormon Row, Cunningham Cabin Historic Site, Signal Mountain Summit, and Jenny Lake. The 42-mile Scenic Loop is a must and covers most of the park. There are many turnout and overlooks along the way with gorgeous views. My favorite visitor's center was the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center. It had everything...a museum with exhibits, gift shop, large restrooms, ranger information desk, and a big lobby area for sitting and enjoying the mountain range view through large windows. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this national park. We would highly recommend!

Since its humble beginnings in 1995, OWGA has grown into a worldwide LGBT adventure outfitter catering to active travelers. I have taken six memorable trips with them and I'm about to embark with them once again for my eighth trip on my Civil Service retirement celebration trip with my partner, returning to my favorite ski destination of all, Zermatt, Switzerland. OWGA's owners and organizers, Aaron and David, are extremely devoted to ensure unmatched customer service, and at the same time that the traveler embarks on an organized tour, the trips offer a high degree of personal attention and personalization. The trips are usually made up of 12-20 people with some exceptions such as one trip to Aspen Gay Ski Week that had a huge gathering. Trips are organized year-round, covering literally every continent. The LGBT nature of the trips is absolutely open, and every place and locale is screened for its suitability. I've done two Aspen Ski Weeks, a trip to Zermatt and a trip to St. Moritz, Switzerland, a trip to Katschberg, Austria, and one to Red Lodge and Big Sky, MT. Although most of my trips have been Winter trips, they have a plethora of year-round trips to wonderfully exotic destinations, from bicycling Tuscany, to hiking in Spain, to Cambodia and Vietnam. Outstanding customer service and value.

There are many choices of tour guides with various companies. We chose Casanova Guided Tours…read morebecause they are a company that specializes in personalized tours and totally delivered on that promise. We were so happy one of the other tour companies were unable to accommodate our request to pick us up at our hotel, which was the oldest hotel in Yellowstone, the Lake Yellowstone Hotel. We requested a tour for just my husband and myself for a two day tour focusing on both the Wildlife and Geothermal sites. Our tour guides were Jack, for the wildlife, and Issac, for the geothermal or upper and lower loops. Both guides were extremely prompt with an extremely clean car and all the equipment necessary to view and photograph each site. The information both these young men provided was delivered in a very detailed and genuinely enthusiastic presentation. Their love and passion for the wildlife and the geothermal landscape was contagious! They were able to help us understand the science as well as the background of all that Yellowstone National Park has to offer. Anything we might not have caught on our equipment they were able to utilized their specialized cameras and equipment to not only spot the wildlife but to send us the memories captured. Both guides have inside knowledge of where the wildlife might be at any given time of the day or where to best park to avoid crowds and reduce waiting in long lines or walking more than necessary to enable us to see more in our allotted time frame. Truly a fabulously beautiful area of the United States with a wealth of educational information provided by our tour guides. We would not hesitate to book Casanova Guided Tours and request both Jack and Isaac again and again.

Our guide, Jack was incredibly knowledgeable and so friendly! He was determined to get us our bucket list animals for our trip to Yellowstone and we were SUCCESSFUL! We got to see huge bull elk bugling early in the morning, the wapiti wolf pack stalking a heard of bison, and we managed to get our final animal which was a grizzly bear due to the patience and experience that Jack had in his years of experience with these animals! Our group of four were so thankful and impressed with this company! 20/10 experience for us! Thank you to Casanova tours and to Jack our amazing Yellowstone guide! You truly made it an excellent experience!

Let's start with the positive: They're generous here. They have a good assortment of non alcoholic beverages and you can help yourself to seconds with the food after everyone's had firsts. The wagon ride was pretty cool, our driver and host were entertaining, and we were allowed to visit with the horses for a bit too. So what's my beef? THE BEEF! The steak was very inconsistent and mine was awful...twice! I asked for medium and it was well done....twice. Dry and tough and half of it was straight up fat. My friend, on her second round, got a steak that was so marbled it looked like A5 wagyu! She was so full by then she couldn't finish. Her son wouldn't let it go to waste and took one for the team and gobbled it up. I looked on enviously the entire time. Most of sides and dessert were meh. The one exception was the Roosevelt beans that were the BOMB! I don't even like beans, but these were fantastic. Many in our party also commented favorably on them. Nice they gave us the recipe! At almost $75/pp for adult, this is a pricy! If you do this, go for the experience and not the food! Food: 1.5/5 Excursion: 3/5 _____________ * OK, so that might not be a lie. It might be the best food in Yellowstone, but that's only because the other food options suck too! We sampled many throughout the park on our first trip years ago and brought most of our food in this time because we knew we weren't missing out on anything.

We booked the Yellowstone Lower Loop tour, and it was the perfect way to experience the park together. Our guide, Ben, was absolutely amazing! He arrived right on time at 7am with a spacious, super comfortable van fully stocked with everything we could possibly need for a great tour; including binoculars, drinks, and snacks. Ben was friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. He kept the kids interested and made sure the entire group was enjoying themselves throughout the day. He was very accommodating to our interests, always asking if we wanted to stop when wildlife was spotted or if we wanted to take more time at certain locations. His flexibility made the whole day feel relaxed and tailored to us. Lunch was at Old Faithful, and it was a delicious treat; sandwiches, chips, fruit, and the best homemade chocolate chip cookie. Everything was provided and thoughtfully prepared. This was such a memorable and well-organized experience. I will absolutely be booking with Yellowstone Excursions again, whether it's to explore another area or when more friends and family come to visit us in Bozeman.

If it's within your budget, I would definitely recommend taking a tour with Ecotours…read more Our guide, Ben, was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Yellowstone and the surrounding area. He was also incredibly patient with our rambunctious kids, which made the experience much more enjoyable for our family. The snacks throughout the day were excellent and thoughtfully selected. The offerings ranged from blueberry muffins (which tasted like they may have come from a local bakery) to bison jerky. Sodas, tea, hot chocolate, and French press coffee were available throughout the tour. Hot drinks were served in stainless steel travel mugs, and water was provided in reusable water bottles that we got to keep--a nice touch that fit well with the company's environmental focus. Lunch was fantastic. The Mediterranean and elote salads were generous enough that we wished we had a way to take leftovers home. The mufaletta sandwich was piled with a generous amount of lunch meat and cheese. The kids also enjoued their PB& Js. The brownies were absolutely divine. We also appreciated that the meal was served in stainless steel bento boxes with real silverware rather than disposable containers, which felt very consistent with Ecotours' name and mission. I can't forget to mention the washable tablecloth and napkins. We enjoyed the viewing hatches on the vehicle. While we only had one opportunity to get close enough to wildlife to really use them, they were a fun feature. Our kids especially loved being able to see out the back windows and open them for a better view. Overall, the tour was well organized, comfortable, and family-friendly. The combination of excellent guiding, great food, thoughtful amenities, and a commitment to sustainability made it a memorable Yellowstone experience.
