We could have fit one or two more kids if necessary. It has a wonderful outside patio area with lots of seating (picnic tables etc), so my local family came over too for a wonderful Sunday BBQ. Just rent the whole apartment and enjoy the space. There are three rooms with several beds, a very nice kitchen and a family room area for watching movies or playing games. There is also a game loft that the kids loved, with a hammock, foosball, or pool table, and outdoor BBQ grills. It can get a little warm at night but just open a window (it's very quiet) and enjoy the night air. Top it all off with draft horses, and even a goat and baby chickens. I grew up in Wyoming, and if you want to meet real people and get a real experience, stay here. The owners bend over backwards to make sure that you have everything you need to enjoy yourselves. Not too far outside of Yellowstone if you are looking for something a little different, and far and away the best place to stay near Lovell/Powell. I marked down the sleep quality just slightly because it is a shared apartment, but just know that going in. The mattresses etc., were very comfortable though.

I wouldn't even give this place one star if I had the option. My group stayed in the Hot Springs…read moreInn for one night. This motel is managed by the same people as the Coachman Inn. Originally, my group was supposed to stay at the Coachman Inn, but our reservations were cancelled because of "plumbing issues." Later we were informed that another customer was already in the room, so they actually double booked it and lied to us. Since my group is on a budget, we asked if we could get a deal for two smaller rooms, to accommodate the same number of people that would have been staying in the larger room. They said we would have to pay full price, so we decided to call around to other places. Coincidentally, we explained this story to the manager of the Hot Springs Inn. She said that since she manages both businesses she would give us a "deal" and take $5 our rooms at this place. We accepted even though we would paying more than what we would for our first reservation. When we asked for a later checkout, the manager was completely unprofessional. She had not opened the office even though it was 10:30, so we had to stand in the snow while she looked for the keys. When I asked if we could get a later checkout, she was rude and said her maids will be here at noon, and we have to get out by then unless we give her "twenty bucks." I asked if we were the only room that needed to be cleaned (thinking the other rooms could be cleaned first, giving us a little extra time), and she told me "it doesn't matter," and we had to get out unless we paid the money or reserved another night. We were told the beds would be Queen sized, but they were actually full sized. One room was only heated with a cheap space heater, even though it is winter. The management was rude and unprofessional. The beds were not well-made, which makes me wonder if they change the sheets between every customer. DO NOT STAY HERE, and DO NOT STAY AT THE COACMAN.
