Boy this place has really changed since Donnie and his wife left. First of all, there were like 5 different cups of drinks half drunk on one table. It looked so so messy. One was dripping on me. Second, there were spit out seeds of black cheeries in plain sight; the amount he charged me for my daughter's manicure with TWO drawings was $35. Why put prices on the website if they are going to charge you what they want. Never ever going there again. Only thing good was there manners. At least they were friendly. I don't typically leave negative reviews, but my experience here was unacceptable on so many levels. I came in as a walk-in for a simple dip nail removal. While I understood they were short-staffed and appreciated that they were able to take me in, what followed was a complete lack of professionalism and care. Nail removal usually takes about 10-20 minutes. Instead, I was left sitting with my fingers soaking in acetone for nearly an hour, with no communication or check-ins. I wasn't even greeted or acknowledged by the technician who eventually began my service -- I sat in silence while they catered to other clients, offering them water and conversation, while I was completely ignored. To make matters worse, it took three different technicians to complete the removal -- none of whom communicated with me. The first tech briefly drilled my nails for a minute, then walked away without a word. About 30 minutes later, a second technician came by, adjusted the bowl, and also left without acknowledgment. After awhile knowing I was upset, a final technician rushed through the rest of the removal. My nails were left uneven, poorly filed, and clearly done in haste. I walked out with a few crooked nails and an even worse feeling. As frustrating as the wait was, the most absolute disturbing part was overhearing staff speaking negatively about me in Vietnamese -- not realizing that I am Vietnamese and understood every word. Comments like "this little girl...she can't stay still, that's why her nails are so dirty" and "let her be upset for all she wants, doesn't bother me" were said loud enough for me to hear. Another staff member commented on my facial expression, mocking how "sad" I looked -- instead of offering any kind of empathy or service recovery. What hurt the most was not just the poor service, but being disrespected by people from my own community. This kind of behavior -- especially in a customer service setting -- is disheartening and deeply unprofessional. I can only imagine how often they gossip about customers who don't understand the language, and that is not something anyone should tolerate. Please take your business elsewhere. Asked for a fill was charged a full set. 50 bucks for a fill??? Then when brought to their attention they said it's the same thing. I told her no it's not! A full set is taking off the prior powder and doing the nails. Not drilling it smooth and adding new powder to the prior powder. That would be considered a fill. They still charged me 50 bucks I'm highly unsatisfied and would not recommend this place to ANYONE. In the end I had a $40 gift certificate and when presented the gift certificate the person whom took the gift certificate threw her head back in disappointment and stated I still owe her $10 dollars. The bare minimum wasdone. They no longer massage your hands or even ask you to wash your hands and the end to lotion them. They offered me water after being there for 15 minutes. It was 78 degrees and they had no a/c on. I was charged $10 for a soak off and had to do the removing of the dip myself. And the biggest complaint is that the massage chair was not on. Do yourself a favor and put your car in reverse back out of your parking spot at Wynn's and drive to Nails La Belle instead - they did a fantastic job. Here's why: I scheduled an appointment for 5:30 and arrived 5 minutes early. I sat for another 5 minutes before I was shown to the pedi chair where I proceeded to wait another 20 minutes with my feet soaking in luke warm water. Two of their employees tried to get the lady who was supposed to do my nails out of the break room during this period of 20 minutes. Meanwhile another customer walks in, is seated right away and has already begun her manicure. I kindly reminded them that I'd booked an appointment for 5:30 and the two employees (one of which was the owner who was servicing the walk in) and they apologized that they couldn't peel the woman in the break room away from the TV screen to provide service to a paying customer. After standing awkwardly in the middle of the shop, the owner touches my back and quietly offers me 10% off my next service... Like I said earlier, put your car in reverse and get outta there. read more

Highly recommend calling to book your appointment because it does get busy but they always accept walk ins when it isn't! The equipment is always clean and the staff is super friendly. They have never let me down when I need a full set and pedicure. I also love to bring my guy in from time to time for a pedicure. :) read more

Fit me in on a VERY busy Saturday after I called my regular spa and couldn't get in. I was in a hurry too so I asked if I could get a pedicure AND shellac manicure done and be out at a certain time and she tried really hard to get me out of there. Even though I told her she could just paint my toes and nails quickly to get them done she really did an excellent job on my pedicure and nails, making sure they looked nice. Great experience. I will definitely be back again. Plus I got an amazing crawfish restaurant recommendation while I was there, which I've already been to twice. Off the bad I'm gonna say I loved this place. They open at 10, I went today Wednesday. And I always like to be early. So as soon as they opened the door I was sat in a chair and Donnie started working on me right away. His wife Holly and him are a very nice and humorous couple. She said it is a family owned business. When I go to other salons, they don't even touch my cuticles. Last one I went didn't push them back and there was a big gap on one of my nails because of that. But Donnie did do all that. Which I was very surprised and appreciative. I was actually pushing my cuticles back myself while I was waiting for them to open. ‍ Anyway, this is my new nail salon. I made an appointment with Donnie for my next fill. He also said they can do anything I choose to on my nails. Other places only came close to what I wanted and my nails where always left bumpy. They are so good to me here. I got a pedicure and didn't return for almost three months. I had a crazy schedule at the time. But when I did go back for a much needed pedi they remembered me. I have a nail salon that I got to consistently, but I went to this place with my cousin for some girl time. She goes here regularly and spoke very highly of it. I was preparing to leave the country and needed to get a pedi and dipping powder on my nails. At first, everything seemed great. They were very polite and my nails looked pretty good. This was on Saturday. On Sunday, I noticed a couple of my nails seemed a bit thin and flimsy with the powder on. Uh oh. I hoped for the best. I go to the airport early Monday morning and from the time I left DFW to the time I got to my connecting flight, I had lost four nails. Not actually the nails, but the dipping powder literally lifted and popped off of my natural nail like a press on. I've never seen anything like it. It was so embarrassing because I felt a couple fly off on the plane and I have no idea where they landed. There was no place to get it fixed. Needless to say, it didn't get any better from there. By the time I got back home, I only had one nail still intact. The rest looked a hot mess. I don't know if this was a fluke or if the manicurist I had was having an off day, but I won't risk trying it again. read more

So I pretty much never write reviews, but I felt the need to speak up here. I honestly find it hard to believe that every review for this place is 5 stars. TL;DR I visited this salon for the 2nd time last week. I left angry and embarrassed and I will not be returning. I enjoy getting pedicures, but I generally don't care to receive a massage every time and I am on a student budget. So, on my first visit, I asked the employee at the front desk (she may be a manager or owner) if there were any pedicures priced for a simple basic pedicure service. She said we could talk about a discount on my next visit. At the time, I didn't question that it was strange she wasn't willing to discuss it there for my first visit, but I pleasantly agreed and paid full price despite not receiving a massage, scrub, etc. My pedicurist was very pleasant, so I was still satisfied. I left with the promise that I would return again! This past week, the same front desk lady herself started my pedicure off. However, she was moving very slowly and was not actually accomplishing much as far as the pedicure went. I promise I am not a high maintenance person; it really was painfully slow. She eventually asked another pedicurist to come in to finish. This employee was very sweet and pleasant, and basically had to go back through the entire process to re-do the previous work. Unfortunately, in total I spent over and hour and a half there, and the second pedicurist was forced to hurry up in placing my flip flops on because it was near closing. And, you guessed it, the polish got messed up. I wasn't picky enough to ask for a touch up given it was near closing and I had already spent so much time there. I returned to the front and asked the front desk lady about our previously discussed discount arrangement. I told her that I forgot to mention it at the beginning of the visit, and knowing this, I asked if I could pay for the basic pedicure service and apply the rest of the cost of the pedicure to a large tip for the pedicurist who had worked so hard and given so much time. I had never demanded this, but simply opened a discussion. I would never want to rip someone off. However, the front desk lady loudly responded "We charge $30 for pedicure here! You can add tip!" and practically slammed the receipt on the table. I could not believe it. I quietly included my tip and left the salon. Apparently the Wednesday discount mentioned in a previous post didn't apply to me either. Overall, this experience was very unfortunate, because the combination of a smoothie from next door with a pedicure would have made for a great location to be a regular at. In addition, the other staff seemed very pleasant and hardworking. However, the owner/manager/receptionist clearly does not care to maintain quality customer service nor compassion. I will not be returning here, and I would urge others to do the same. read more
