When I first started, I honestly didn't think I would get my mobility and strength back, but your constant encouragement, patience, and expert guidance made all the difference. You didn't just heal my body; you restored my hope when I was struggling the most. Because of your hard work, I can't wait to get back to doing the activities I love so much without pain. I am so grateful for everything you've done for me! Thank you for celebrating every tiny milestone with me! Jocelyn

I wish I could give Vista PT 5 stars. Truly. And as for my physical therapist, Zoey, she earned…read moreherself 10 stars! However, there is a big problem with Vista PT in Mckinney. After submitting my referral from my surgeon as well as all of my insurance documents, including an email containing a screenshot that my deductible had already been 100% met as requested by Vista. I was told by reception/billing that my copay for each visit would be $21. Great! I booked twice weekly appointments and began my healing! Each visit I paid my $21 prior to each appointment. Imagine my surprise when suddenly I received a bill for almost $600 in the snail mail. I have worked tirelessly with Vista's billing department (out of state BTW) in conjunction with my insurance (upwards of a total of 8-10 separate phone calls) to no avail. Naturally, I have halted my PT and am simply left to continue the exercises I already was assigned and utilizing online resources to try to remedy my issues post 2 surgeries. Vista claims this is not their issue and the bill must be paid instead of working to correct the issue. I am now left to pay over $600 for a total of 11 visits with Vista PT. Just not right and unethical IMHO. Just be aware this may happen regardless of what the office may tell you upfront regarding billing prior to your first appointment. Very disappointed.

I would recommend Frank Arena,Occupational Therapist, to any of my friend and acquaintances, I was…read morehaving complications from overuse of my hands and had tendonitis in my arms. Frank was able to find deficiencies in movement I wasn't aware of. We worked the issues with manipulation, strength and flexability training with all the best equipment in the office. Frank appears to be a little OCD about cleanliness and I appreciate this quirk. At the end of each session we finished with a massage and the feel good machine. I was able to avoid surgery because of the work we did. Frank gave me the best advice to purchase splints to wear at night. The splints keep me from sleeping with my hands and wrists in unhealthy positions. It has changed my life by raising my sleep score by 30pts daily. My advice is, at the least, try whatever Frank tells you to do. It will benefit you immensely.

After that, I was left alone to wonder if I was making any headway. None of them were doctors and I got the impression that I was just an insurance payment. Dr. Miller McVay is different. Totally different. He and his staff are totally involved in my rehabilitation. From warm-up to healing therapy leading to strengthening and restoring range of motion, they are committed to my well-being. I usually get an hour and a half out of an hour session, then ice. I actually feel better, even if the therapy sometimes hurts (he watches my face for clues to how far he can push me). In addition, Miller (yes, he's a regular guy) explains the medical side to me, including what the various therapies target and the expected result. Clearly, he cares about my progress and my healing.
