Just go... take care of YOU... you deserve it!…read more I have just started going to this wonderful place, Advanced Chirosport (in Murphy, TX), and I am so grateful to have finally found a place that cares about patients!! When you walk in, you are warmly greeted (by Kelly and Melissa) and made to feel welcome! You immediately feel the difference from other Chiro places that otherwise make you feel like just another number. At Advanced Chirosport, they want to know what's important to you; what you are looking to accomplish, and they will be honest with you about your journey. They don't pressure you for additional or unnecessary treatment, but rather, they partner with you on what is needed for YOUR body (it IS, after all ... YOUR body!). I have been seeing Dr. John Davis; he's very kind and clearly loves what he does... (Helping people on their body healing journey). I also recently had "Dry Needling," and it was just what I needed to get rid of those painful shoulder knots that have been torturing me for a long time! lol I am now a big fan of dry needling! For me, it's about sciatica, tight muscles, back pain, psoas tightness, and more! They will teach you what you need to do to help yourself (at home) with various exercises, stretching, or other methods that will get you back on track for your Whole Body Wellness! Isn't that what you are looking for? Look no further, THIS IS THE PLACE!! Thank you, Kelly, Melissa & Dr. John Davis, y'all are wonderful and your practice is unique and refreshing! See y'all soon! :-)

After a chronic plantar fasciitis injury lasting over six months, Dr Ed Le Cara took on my case. We…read moretalked over different treatments and decided on a new technique. Initially, Dr Le Cara injected my heel with a botulism treatment from Galderma called Dysport. The Dysport injection was coupled with dry needling and massage. I walked into see Dr Le Cara for the first time, almost hobbling in pain and perpetual discomfort. Not only did the pain hurt all day, every day; the pain affected my attitude and made me not any fun to be around. This single treatment allowed me to walk out of The Body Lounge with next to zero pain in one treatment. I have been visiting Dr Le Cara once a week for five weeks since the initial injection treatment where he continues the dry needling and massage. The chronic pain in my plantar area of my left foot has been eradicated. We are continuing to work on stretching the gastrocnemius and soleus muscles, strengthening the muscles in the plantar area as well as decreasing the painful adhesions in my calf. Dr Le Cara's expertise in treatment as well as finding the root causes of my affliction and pain have allowed me to look forward to resuming my normal endurance training in the near future. There is no doubt Dr Le Cara is a true expert in healing sports injury. If you want a doctor who can provide phenomenal results in curing pain and injury, get to Dr Ed Le Cara, quickly!

Beware if you have BCBS PPO - $371 for 1 Visit. First, let me start by sharing I enjoyed my…read moreexperience with the physical therapist, she seemed competent and I was excited to work with her. The medical insurance contracted rates however with BCBS are very high in comparison to the service provided. My first visit was $371; The office quoted $214 in advance due at the time of visit, which seemed high in comparison to physical therapy I've had in the past, but I haven't yet met my deductible. I've had physical therapy for a spinal fusion pre-and post surgery prior to this and have never been charged this amount pre-deductible. My insurance and deductible were the same between providers, so no differences otherwise to account for. At Baylor Scott & White I learned was charged for reeducation of neuromuscular for $114 after receiving the billing ledger. I had a conversation with the physical therapist about my spinal fusion, but I've had plenty education (pre & post surgery) and teach Pilates; this charge quite frankly seems like fraud. She never even demonstrated any exercises, nor did we do any exercises at the appointment. I received a printout of exercise to complete at home as I left to work on between now and my next appointment. If I truly had reeducation and required it, she would have given me more than a paper with exercises. I would suspect this is the "neuromuscular reeducation," which I would challenge should be part of the $214 visit because that is what physical therapy is. To share further insight, I had an endoscopy with a true MD Gastrointestinal doctor; the physician's bill for a this medical procedure at an outpatient center was less than my PT visit. When I called BSWI to get an understanding about the additional bill I received after paying the original $214, the woman I spoke to was incredibly kind and said she would put it for review which I sincerely appreciated. I was kind and professional to her on the phone as she investigated and sent me the billing ledger so I could review to gain a better understanding. I worked for an MD calling insurance for benefit quotes in college and later as a Big 4 auditor, so I understand the back end and in my opinion, the billing practices are unethical and take advantage of patients. It may be common for them to bill like this, but that doesn't make it right. Very disappointed in my experience here. I am going to pay my bill, but will not return nor recommend.
