When you walk in, you are warmly greeted (by Kelly and Melissa) and made to feel welcome! You immediately feel the difference from other Chiro places that otherwise make you feel like just another number. At Advanced Chirosport, they want to know what's important to you; what you are looking to accomplish, and they will be honest with you about your journey. They don't pressure you for additional or unnecessary treatment, but rather, they partner with you on what is needed for YOUR body (it IS, after all ... YOUR body!). I have been seeing Dr. John Davis; he's very kind and clearly loves what he does... (Helping people on their body healing journey). I also recently had "Dry Needling," and it was just what I needed to get rid of those painful shoulder knots that have been torturing me for a long time! lol I am now a big fan of dry needling! For me, it's about sciatica, tight muscles, back pain, psoas tightness, and more! I've seen other chiropractors and by far, this is the best chiropractor office. They not only adjust your spine, but they do additional treatments that PT does as well, such as cupping, dry needling, acupressure, stretching, etc. Dr. Hartshorn is an amazing chiropractor and I really appreciate that he keeps me informed of his treatment plan and diagnosis of my issues. Unlike many other places, this office does not try to upsell anything or trick you into buying a package, prepaying for visits, etc. I would highly recommend this chiropractor office. read more

I have been coming here for four years now. I schedule an appointment once a month just to stay tuned up. I am in my 60's and I have found that it is much easier to avoid problems and pain with a monthly checkup. When I first started coming I was having some severe foot pain. Love love love this place/ these guys. I've been to see these guys for a couple of years now and every visit has been a positive experience. My personal trainer recommended Dr. Dukes when I complained of a knot in my calf that just wouldn't go away (we're talking with months of stretching and rolling and massaging!). I didn't know what to expect with ART (active release therapy), but it worked wonders. Between the doctor and the interns, my calf was taken care of, we started work on some other long term issues and I felt noticeably better when I walked out the door. I've been a loyal patient ever since! That sounds crazy, but I've had a serious back injury in the past and never want to repeat that type of episode. As soon as I have a flare up in my back (or anywhere else), I make an appointment to see them again. Dr. Dukes is no longer with the practice, but Dr. Findura and Dr. Davis continue to offer really great treatment, including more dry needling (this is awesome) and more therapeutic exercise instruction. Every visit they work with me to improve whatever is hurting and I always feel better. Over time I have learned how my body works, become more self-aware and am able to prevent common mechanical mistakes I used to make. I'm less likely to twist my ankle while dancing or playing soccer, or to strain my back while lifting or doing chores. Their motto is to keep you going, not coming. While I do return, it's because they help me feel better and allow me to be healthy and active in my daily life and any pursuits I choose to engage in. I've made more than a dozen referrals over the years, including my mom, my husband and my daughter, and all of them have also been very happy with their experience. Love this place! Dr. Davis has helped me so much with several issues. I pretty much visit the clinic monthly for my midlife aches and pains. As a hairstylist, I'm on my feet long hours, and I'm also using my arms/shoulders in repetitive motions. Dr. Davis helped tremendously with a heel pain issue, a tight calf muscle, and a shoulder/neck issue. They have taught me how to roll and stretch my problem areas, as well as strengthen my core. We moved recently and I hurt my side. I wasn't sure if it was muscular or skeletal, and was not sure where to go, but I found it. This place takes in the whole picture, your muscles, your bones and how everything is connected. I literally laid on the table my first visit with Dr. David in pain and got up off the table without pain. They took time to give me a deep tissue massage and gave me stretches to do until my next visit. I got stiff in between visits but by the second visit I was well on my way to pain free. So I made an appointment for last Wednesday but due to the ice I canceled and I made an appointment for Monday at 9 but when I went to fill out my new patient paperwork this morning it said March 1st so I called on my way there and said I had scheduled for Monday and am confused why it said March 1. I got there before they called me back and I walked in and it seemed like they had listened to the voicemail before I got there due to the red hair lady and the other lady looking at me smiling and giggling a little bit saying no it was made for March 1st and the brown hair lady (sorry did not get any other names) treated me like a child and just kept saying nope I'm so sorry (in the fakest way possible) it was March 1 and said that about 3x and I told her I would not have made an appointment for Tuesday i can't come in and I had my kids babysat. She continued to belittle me and I told her I will not reschedule I won't return and that I was really frustrated. The front desk ladies act like they are high school mean girls and if I am coming to you for service treat me with a little respect. My parents go here and I hear the doctors are great that's what the 2 stars are for but they need to change the front desk people. read more

I messed my knee up at the gym and was concerned I strained my MCL. I thought rest and ibuprofen would be enough but after 4 weeks of walking with pain (even sometimes feeling my knee was about to "give out"), I scheduled an apt with Dr John Davis. Dr Davis spent nearly 30 minutes talking to me about exactly what I was doing at the time of injury, symptoms (etc), and then feeling all around the knee. He said I strained the muscles that support the knee (can't remember a single one by name but rattled them off with ease) and explained in detail how they work. It only took TWO treatments and I am now back at the gym, cycling and hiking with NO pain whatsoever! Awesome experience! HIGHLY recommend him. read more

The staff was great and friendly but the next day after my very first adjustment I had to go to the ER! I was in the worst pain of my entire life. I had to get multiple steroid shots and muscle relaxers to ease the pain. I have been dealing with back pain for about seven years and I'm only 24 years old. Please make sure If you decide to go to a chiropractor be sure they take x-rays before doing ANY adjustments! Having adjustments without knowing what is going on internally can be very detrimental!! read more

This review has been a long time coming. Better late than never, right? I visited Dr. John Davis and Dr. Findura during a very difficult time in my life, when I was having inexplicable back pain for about 3 years. After seeing an ortho who wanted to perform a highly invasive surgery on me for something he wasn't even sure was the cause (this guy wanted to put steel pins in my sacrum because he felt I had SI Joint syndrome. I declined.), I started coming to Advanced Chirosport on a regular basis in order to get relief. While they were unable to diagnose this excruciating pain that seemed to be getting worse by the day, Dr. Davis kept me going week after week with his ART, Dry Needling, and taping methods. His techniques were enough to get my by until the next visit. He was always so compassionate, and made it his mission to help put me back together. After about a year of treatment with no actual resolution to my pain and an actual worsening, Dr. Davis strongly recommended I get a second opinion from a neurosurgeon. I was hesitant to do that, since my last ortho said all my MRI's and scans were clean, two years prior. Thankfully I listened to Dr. Davis, and promptly found a reputable neurosurgeon who ordered new scans, then diagnosed me with a Schwanoma, a tumor of the nerve sheath on the base of my spine. It was large in size and growing rapidly, which explained my increasing pain. After a 5 hour surgery it was completely removed by my neurosurgeon, and my life is completely back to normal now. I was even able to have a baby a year after the operation! I thought that ship had sailed, long before. I credit Dr. Davis greatly for helping me get my life back. He sensed that there was something more going on than a sports injury, and knew well enough to recommend my next course of action, even though I was stubborn. Glad that I listened! I went to this place after I got 3 good referrals from my friends. I injured my right elbow while pushing my attic door which is at 12ft height. Very badly designed attic door with wood stairs instead of aluminum !! Instead of going to my PCP or any specialist I went and saw Dr David Findura. He made me do a lot of actions to check range of motion and started doing many manipulative techniques on my right arm and elbow . It still hurt after the session!! I went and saw him for 4 weeks with no relief in pain and no improvement on my range of motion!!! Then I went to my PCP and found out it is Tennis elbow, needed Physical therapy and two braces one wrist brace to avoid wrist movement and a tennis elbow brace in my forearm . On the contrary Dr Findura asked me to NOT to wear any brace!!!! I am very disappointed with Dr Findura's wrong diagnosis and treatment. I would not recommend this place at all to anyone who has a serious injury!! Now I have to wear both the braces for 4 months till it heals and get PT too. At least now I know I am back on the right tack! read more
