1st off, I'm thankful The Joint exist so that many can have an affordable option to see a chiro. To have a few location is convenient, but I like to stick to the doc I like. I've seen a handful of different chiros.
That leads me to the 2nd part. Dr. D. is the best chiro I ever had. If she's not at the Joint for any reason, I will take my business else where. I'm sure there are many fine chiros working for the company, but hands down, I love Dr. D. for her 25+ years of knowledge and sense of humor. Can't beat being taught old school.
Customer service is great with Jess at this location, Blake at another and Gladus at Richardson. Unfortunate for some who felt that service wasn't up to par before, but for anyone new, please give them a chance.
As for the whole cancelling, yes it's a bit complicated. That has a lot to do with the computer system not connected to every location. But all this is usually explained in advance. Nothing to hide about that. Too many people sign off a lot of papers and not read. Then not ask questions. Even if they're told about all this, they forget.
The only thing that makes it complicated are for those who don't want the re-occurring payments every month.
Yes, sometimes if you don't get to see the doc of your choice, the service varies. Better to have that option than to wait a while with most private offices.
I like how Dr. D. doesn't do the back cracking in a few places the way some do and tap a few places that's very generalized vs. know what part needs tapping, cracking, pushing and so forth. It's more customized.
Sure some sessions are shorter than others. For the ones who feel they should always have a full on session going through every part of the body even if it doesn't need adjusting, there are regular offices to go to that charge a lot more.
Bottom line is if you're not sure if you feel alright after the alignment, you're welcome to sit there for a bit to figure out if you need to be aligned some more or not. Nobody is rushing you out the door.
The set up is nice with the leather seats and higher chairs. Help yourself to coffee or water. Sometimes they offer snacks too. I find that very warm and welcoming.
Over all I've been happy with Dr. D. and a client for a year now if not longer. Thank you everyone for the kind service. For future clients, please read the forms you fill out. You get your money's worth to go 4x a month for the price. read more
