The combination of her personal gifts, professional training, skills, and experience make her an excellent person with whom to work: she is personable, knowledgeable, articulate, and flexible with exercises/treatments as needed. She really listens to clients (more and more a rarity), is attentive to what's going on with one's body during exercises (even when you don't know it) and points out needed improvements in form, placement, etc. One day she noticed that one of my legs looked a little longer than the other when doing an exercise and called me over to do some readjustment movements, something I can do on my own as well. It really helped. The clinic is run efficiently with the engaging and ever efficient Maggie at its helm. It may sound strange to say, but I am sorry when a course of treatment ends! One more thing to say: If you are looking for the big high tech clinics with lots of machines and equipment, this may not be the right place for you. What is of benefit is that every exercise Sylvia taught me in our sessions can easily be reproduced at home with aids that can be acquired from Target or Walmart. Highest accolades to Sylvia and Maggie!

I just started PT here and I only have positive things to say about them. The staff is so friendly…read moreand caring. From the time you arrive to the time you leave, you know you are in very good hands. Once you arrive, you do not have to wait very long for your therapist to come get you. He/she will help you every step of the way and make you feel very comfortable. The first time I went, I was very nervous because I know my limitations and was afraid they would push me too far. That was not the case at all. They respect what you are telling them and they make extra effort to make sure you are not in danger of harming yourself further by overexerting your limitations. They have aquatic therapy which is what I am currently using. The group that is usually there is small so you really get a lot of personal attention and support. I have a very good feeling that they are going to help me get to where I need to be! I can already tell that I have extra energy. I am excited about the future because they really give me hope!

Just figured I'd get it checked out. Mri done, results-- partially torn/strained ACL and a bucket handle tear of medial meniscus. Not once did Dr Podleski go over the MRI with me(visually), he simply read off a report from whoever he got the report from. I don't think he ever actually looked at the MRI to confirm what the report said. So why do I come out of surgery with a repaired meniscus and apparently my ACL was detached/completely torn all along. Keep in mind I was very active and had no weakness of the knee(run, jump, squat, etc with no issues). Now 6-7 weeks after surgery, a week after he clears me for rehab, I'm still waiting to begin rehab. Nothing but headache and honestly feel the surgery he did was a money grab, I'm back to where I was in the first place.... Actually worse off than when I walked into his office. Repaired a torn meniscus that could have possibly healed on its own. FIND ANOTHER OFFICE, you'll thank me later. ***Update ** Several months have passed Rehab was completed. My knee randomly buckles(never happened before surgery, even when I put off going to doctor for 10+years). Sometimes it'll actually pop like a knuckle/finger pops smh. Not sure if it was podleski but I was better off not having the surgery. He basically said scope within first 10 minutes of assessing my knee. I'm still confused how MY ACL was completely detached before surgery but never did I have buckling knees. Look around and make sure your getting the right care, I FEEL I DID NOT and now have to deal with a nagging knee that was better before surgery, go figure!

I got used to other clinics making me wait an hour or more past my appointment time to get into the clinical room and then wait some more. I was pleasantly surprised that was not the case here. The Dr. was not rushing to get out of the room to the next patient, listened to my concerns and offered me options for relief.

I should have left after my first visit when patients were left standing out in the cold last winter. It was after lunch and the office didn't unlock the doors for 20 minutes after their office opened back up. They said they had an office meeting that ran over. The patients were very upset. I know because I was standing outside with them. I overlooked that, but the first time I tried to call, after what I thought was an error, went unreturned. This was my second visit. The text I received, showed my appointment with Kyle. I tried to call about that, but my calls were not returned. I mentioned that to Dr. Zhao who immediately took notes and had the office manager call to apologize. After more visits, I had a minor surgery that was over $109, 000. Even with insurance, I'll spend the rest of my life trying to pay off. That doesn't include his dr visits or therapy visits. Almost a year rocked on and my last visit was with Dr. Zhao. I purposefully asked to see him for my appointment because I wanted what I thought would be my exit visit to be with him. After the tech took my blood pressure and asked a series of questions, she told me Kyle, the PA, would be in to see me. I told her I made that appointment with Dr. Zhao, and at that point, she said, "Let me see what I can do." I could hear people laughing and talking right outside the door, but no one came to say, "Just a few more minutes" or anything!" After an HOUR in that room, I stuck my head out the door and said, "I've been waiting an hour. Do you know how much longer it's going to be?" The tech said, "You are next." After another 5 minutes, Kyle, the PA came in. He said I'm going to access you and then Dr. Zhao will come. You could tell he was mad. After he did a quick assessment, Dr. Zhao came in. I told him an hour of waiting is too long. He just said, he has Kyle to help with some of the appointments. I told him I understood that because many of my visits had been with Kyle, but I specifically asked for him on the appointment whereI was hoping to have the restrictions lifted. The restrictions were lifted, and I could not wait to leave that office. It seems the price of healthcare is rising but the level of care isn't. Needless to say, I would not recommend this office.
