I came here for a chrome delete on my 2015 Lexus 3IS Nick scheduled me for the next morning and went right to work. I couldn't get someone to pick me up, so I waited in the waiting area. The area was very spacious and nothing short of comfortable. There was Netflix on the Apple TV so I watched a movie while I waited. There were snacks, Nutella with cracker sticks, granola bars and water. The coach was also fairly big. I've waited at other waiting areas before and this was definitely a better one. During my chrome delete, they were unsatisfied with how one of the pieces came out, so they re-did it without my asking. I had also asked if they could help me get some 3M adhesive I had stuck on to my mirrors off as well as some paint that was on my panel, to which they obliged and polished my mirrors. My wife just got a new BMW X3 and the dealership did a quick detail in in her car leaving many imperfections. So I suggested to her that we get it detailed and ceramic coated. This way, it will be easier for me to wash her car as well. I checked Yelp and I for sure wasn't going to go back to this place in Torrance that starts with a C Auto Spa. They did a terrible job on my 4Runner. Then comes Wurzel Performance. I messaged the business around 10pm and received a response from the owner 9 minutes later and gave me details/ pricing for the ceramic coating. I agreed and decided to book two days later. Wurzel's shop is conveniently located right next to the 405 freeway in Carson. I was greeted by Ms. Courtney and Nick when I entered their shop and I could tell they are genuine people from the start. Nick introduced himself to me and his philosophy. Nick even showed me their large and awesome waiting lobby! We went outside to check out the SUV and Nick brought out his paint thickness gauge which I found to be good. That's when I realized Nick is true to his craft. He suggested to me that some parts of the X3 should be double coated because that's where most of the foot traffic happens which causes swirls or scratches. No, folks.. he wasn't trying to upsell or anything because it was included on the price we agreed on. Thanks Nick! Oh, and one last thing which I found to be impressive is when he explained to me that certain types of ceramic coats need to be applied on certain temperatures. Meaning the car or temperature can't be too hot or the coating won't bond with the car correctly. The following day, I picked up my wife's SUV and low and behold. That SUV is better than new. The SUV is shining and looking extra clean. The wheels were ceramic coated and it is shiny! I suggest people coat their wheels so its easier to clean. Nick polished the exterior trim that had a lot of swirl marks as well as polished the exhaust tips. On top of that, he even cleaned the engine, coated the inside of the gas tank, headlights, and other exterior trim of the SUV for no charge. Who does that? Nick does. I could tell that he really loves working on cars... it's his passion. I can't be thankful enough of the experience I had with Wurzel Performance. Nick and Courtney made me feel like I am their friend and not just another customer. The customer service and quality of work is top notch. They maybe new around the area but they are 5/5. I had requested a quote for a recondition on a really bad Seibon carbon fiber hood. I had ask late night around 11pm-12. I was shock they actually replied to me that late! My carbon fiber hood had seen better days. After years of abuse and putting off any attempt to remedy the condition, I decided to try and find someone to fix this problem. Luckily Yelp steered me to Wurzel Performance. My hood had become oxidized and the clear coat looked to be shot. When the hood was wet, the carbon was shiny, but as soon as it dries, it was white and hazy. I sent a message and a picture to Nick at Wurzel Performance, and he replied that he could probably fix the problem, but wanted to take a look in person. So, we scheduled a meet up later that day. His responses were prompt and helpful. Took my car in, and they took a look at what they could do. They wanted to run a test spot to see how bad the damage was. After that test, I was given some options on how they could fix the hood. They also went through the car and gave me some options for other areas they could work on. In the end we went with the Graphene coat and repair of the hood. Nick also offered to detail my engine bay, which was also very needed. I went with those to services and let them do what they do. The car was done promptly, and when it was ready I was given a call. I have to say, I was amazed at the work. The hood looked like new, or actually, better then new. He even repaired the under hood, which was missing some screws for the rain covers for the vents and polished the underside. The engine bay looked way better then when I brought it in. The team even cleaned up some of the plastics on window cowl and fog light area on the bumper. On top of that, they even did a cleaning job on the interior. I was very impressed with the effort they put into the work and the extra care they gave me, the customer. The car is no show car, or is banged up and used on the daily, but the work they put into it makes it look and feel like I could hard park with the best of them at any car meet. The price for the service was fair. Having gone through a budget detail once before, the difference is night and day. This detail was by far worth every penny. For over three years, I had been struggling with an issue with the window trim on my black 2015 Dodge Dart GT. The paint had started chipping really bad above the windows. I attempted to cover it up myself with vinyl wrap, but I could never get it to look any good. I shopped around all over the area and nobody even wanted to give me the time of day to fix this issue. I was almost starting to run out of hope until I found Wurzel Performance in Carson. I messaged the owner, Nick, on Yelp, and I could already tell just by the messages that he was a very nice guy. He immediately scheduled an in-person consultation at my earliest convenience. Upon meeting Nick at his shop, he gave me a quick tour of the place, and he spent some time with me discussing his process and the options available to fix my issue. When I showed Nick my issue with the window trim, he was genuinely interested in fixing this problem for me. Nick advised me that the best course of action was to remove all of the remaining chipped paint by sanding down the window trim. After sanding off the paint, the next step was to apply a gloss black vinyl wrap to the window trim. He told me it was best to sand it myself because it would be too cost/time prohibitive for him to do it for me. I completely understood, especially after sanding it myself. Sanding off paint is a long, tedious process, and I'm glad I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for him to do it. He encouraged me to send photos of my results from the sanding, and he was delighted to see my progress. After I finished the sanding process, I took my car back to Wurzel the following week. I brought my car there in the morning, and the work was done in the afternoon. When I saw my car with its shiny new gloss black vinyl wrap, I was blown away by the results. I was completely ecstatic to see the complete, flawless restoration of my window trim. I recently bought an e46 m3, and one of the previous owners had applied paint protection film to the leading edge of the hood and fenders. It was getting pretty old and starting to yellow, so I brought it into Wurzel to have it removed and have the hood graphene coated. Nick was super responsive and helpful. After ordering my Tesla MY, I was looking for ways to protect the notoriously weak paint for years to come. After doing my research I was torn between PPF and ceramic coating. I contacted many detail shops in SoCal and while most gave me similar information and quoted similar prices, I was still not set on either. As I thought I had made up my mind to get PPF, I made one more call to Nick at Wurzel Performance. From the very first conversation I could tell that Nick was a professional and he knew what he was talking about. That phone call, which was 40 minutes long, was spent answering all of my questions and making sure I was clear on the pros and cons of PPF. We also discussed some of the issues with the detailing industry and I could tell that Nick was genuine in his care for his clients. Ultimately, I decided to go with the advanced graphene coating on Nick's recommendation, after experiencing the professionalism and generosity that Nick displayed in our initial conversations. Little did I know that I would be seeing Nick very often over the following few months.... I wish I could say my experience buying a new car was seamless and enjoyable, but dealing with Tesla on Spring Street in Long Beach, CA was (and still is) a nightmare. After noticing several defects in the car, I returned multiple times to have Tesla take care of the issues. Notably, there was a paint defect on the front bumper and trunk lid. After one series of fixes, I took the vehicle back to Nick at Wurzel to examine the work. He quickly noticed that the Tesla emblem was missing from the trunk, but that's not the worst part! Tesla actually repainted the entire front bumper and trunk lid, essentially turning my brand new car into a repainted, devalued, "used" vehicle. The paint was also severely mismatched. I was irate. I asked Nick if he would be able to accompany me to Tesla to voice my concerns and displeasure, and to give a professional's perspective, and he actually took time from his day to do so. Eventually, and after much trouble and back and forth, Tesla replaced the front bumper and repainted the trunk AGAIN, albeit much better the second time. While I still have one more appointment to fix some minor things, this whole experience with Tesla left a very negative taste in my mouth. However, having Nick as a confidant, and now a friend, has made the situation far more tolerable. Seeing my car after the advanced graphene treatment, window tinting, and caliper modification gave me some of the joy back that Tesla took away. Nick does amazing work and is always a text or phone call away to discuss the job or to bounce ideas off of for future work. He helped me choose the right type of caliper and has advised me on car care products and how to properly wash the car to maintain the coating. Nick and his team did an excellent job with my 2020 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid. I inquired about ceramic coating and Nick promptly responded with a list of options. He offered to measure/inspect the paint and provided helpful information about the process. I have to add that the shop is well organized. I went with the graphene coating plus other recommendations including getting the windows tinted (although I should have really gone with the darkest shade for the rear window), chrome delete, and blackout license plates. I purchased my car in 2018 and had an unscrupulous wrap business (SGP in Garden Grove) place a wrap on it soon after. Since it was not allowed to be parked indoors, the wrap started to breakdown and had discolorations. So during COVID lockdown in 2020, I tried to remove it as my DIY project. I discovered that SGP had concealed a part of my bumper that was damaged- the paint had been completely removed and only black metal was left. I then was convinced to DIY repair that damaged patch of paint. I had leftover tint adhesive from the front passenger windows as well. Nick and Omar did a great job on my wrap! They took my 13 year old car and made it look brand new. First they removed the old wrap, then I took it to a body shop to repair some dents and prepare the car to get wrapped. The condition wasn't to our satisfaction so we took it to a second body shop for wet-sanding and adding layers of primer to get it in a wrap-ready condition. Nick was patient with all these delays and was willing to work with a flexible time frame. He even went to the body shop with me to inspect the work being done on the car.
