This is the third time I worked with bulletproof auto spa and they never cease to amaze me. They did a clear bra for my Tesla back in 2017, a complete vinyl wrap on my Supra in 2020 and recently did a matte PPF on my Model X. The attention to detail from the team was outstanding and the quality of work has stood the test of time. They were very professional and communicated throughout the entire process. They're customer service and follow-up has been amazing.
I received my 2023 Civic Type R with paint swirls off the dealer lot in November. I immediately searched LA for a reputable and high quality shop that had a portfolio of work and led me to contact Sean at Bulletproof Auto Spa as I didn't know much about paint correction, PPF, and ceramic coating. Sean spent an hour consulting me on the process of paint correction, ceramic coating, and PPF and I was still undecided- so I scheduled a decon wash to have the car checked in person! After the decon wash, Sean and team showed me all of the areas that needed work while sharing immense knowledge of paint processes on new cars from the factory. That same day, I decided I would move forward with front PPF, full body paint correction and full ceramic coating. They were a team that I fully trusted even though I was new to all of this. At the end of the day - a good business is built on trust and execution. They won my trust and executed perfectly. Fast forward two weeks of constant updates from Sean and the car was done (even with Thanksgiving in between)!! I'll let the photos show the results but I was amazed as the car looked completely new - showroom quality! I would recommend anyone who is considering this process to reach out to Bulletproof Auto Spa and bring the car in person. They also threw in a few extra goodies like Gyeon car soap, and a few smaller PPF pieces for my trunk. Shows how much they care about their customers - I will even be scheduling my monthly washes here as they are top notch and I don't trust anyone else with touching the car moving forward!
Bulletproof was an absolute delight to work with in getting my Lucid Air Grand Touring wrapped in an epic purple color! There was a minor imperfection on the front bumper that I didn't catch before delivery. They worked with myself and Lucid Motors to get a replacement bumper acquired, painted, and sent over so that the final wrap would be perfect, which it is! Communication through the whole process was on-point. It was slightly delayed due to the bumper issue, but they let me know every step of the way where we were and what to expect next. Final product is epic and I think speaks for itself in photos. They did such an amazing job with the wrap, tint and protection. Delight to work with!
I haven't owned a car in over 25 years but ended up recently getting a tesla model s plaid. The only thing I didn't like about the car was it not being a unique color. After a ton of research I settled on a color and Bulletproof as the company to do the vinyl wrap, ceramic coat, window tinting and windshield protectant. Bulletproof did an amazing job especially with everything and Mike was a pleasure to work with as he made everything super easy. He even came out to help me inspect my car when I got it initially delivered. I'm not a car guy but having this beautiful modern machine actually brings me a little bit of joy everyday and I am really grateful for finding businesses that take pride in their work and deliver a top shelf customer experience.

I had my bmw M3 fully wrapped and ceramic coated by them and literally everyone thought it was a paintjob because of how perfect it was. They also dechromed my Tesla model 3 and i promise you itll probably look better than the dechrome from the tesla factory on its newer cars with that option LOL. I drive a Subaru STI so this review is for my basic b's out there debating on whether or not to splurge on exterior car care. My car has rock chips, it's 7 years old, and it has the infamous factory-thin Subaru paint job - but I love her. So I gave her a spa day after our cross-country road trip through dirt and snow. Bulletproof Auto Spa provided excellent service from beginning to end. The consultation was highly informative and it helped me solidify what exactly I wanted to get done to my car. I went with paint correction and ceramic coating. This was my first time getting anything like this done to my car so my trust was in their care. The communication was top-notch. I received progress updates during each phase so it was nice being part of the process. The outcome of the services provided was jaw-dropping. She looks amazing! If my car didn't have rock chips I'd say she almost looks brand new. Water stains? Gone. Swirls? Goodbye. Weird grease marks? Never there. Clearly, they're very passionate about what they do because it's reflected in their work.
I have an exotic that needed what I considered to be some minor paint correction and I was curious about the paint protection film process and associated costs. I spent some time online doing the best research I could on the topic so I could maintain a reasonable, educated conversation. Due Diligence these days amounts to consistently high reviews, availability and genuine, good character - all very rare to find these days. I completed an online inquiry on the Bulletproof Auto Spa website in late March of 2022. The very next day, I was contacted by their Production Manager, Sean Tracey. I found him to be very personable and engaging: 'I'd love to see the car in person to give you a paint inspection and guide you on the best pathway to protecting your investment.' More than anything I felt Sean held a natural interest in the well-being of my vehicle in addition to a vision of the final product. None of the other boutique shop's displayed his remarkable candor and extraordinary insight on the topic. Time would pass as I was out of the Country and I reached back out in early October 2022. It was as if two old friends had picked up just where we left off months earlier. After visiting the location in Hawthorne, CA I received a preliminary estimate which admittedly was on the higher end of the spectrum. Sean remained both resolute and confident about the process including the necessary time needed to complete it. Further, he informed me upon conclusion, that these types of projects included a detailed, high-resolution photoshoot whereby photos could be accessed through Dropbox. I gradually could tell this was not going to be a regular job, rather a complete redesign. With additional work needed on the car, I would not be able to commit until January 2023. In good faith, Sean waived the customary 20% deposit to hold a January date and secured it with only $100 via PayPal. Before I knew it, the new year was here and I was dropping my baby off like it was her first day of kindergarten. Quite honestly, the paint appeared in relatively good condition to my untrained eye. The start to finish was just about seven days. Mid-week, Sean texted me to see if a paint-less dent removal tech could look at my vehicle and remove some small dings around the car. How could I resist? I had provided him with the landing report and was more than willing to accommodate. By months' end Sean texted me indicating that the Picasso was finished. He stated that it looked absolutely amazing in the sunlight - measurements were like glass. He was clearly as excited as I was. He had outdone himself; surpassing his highest expectations. I can honestly say that I didn't quite know what to expect. Certainly the car would look different but to what extent? As he rolled up the garage door, I literally felt like saying, 'Wow! Whose car is that?' The answer came quickly. This was way beyond a car detail, this was a piece of art. For starters, the car was showroom ready; concourse quality. It had clearly been pampered and coddled while in Sean's care. The first thing that caught my eye was the glossy, flawless finish of the paint. My best descriptive was that it looked like liquid metal. However, what was most impressive was how smooth the surface felt to the touch, as if the paint had been polished to perfection. The original paint is called Nero Daytona Metallic [Black] such that there are faint gold specs or flakes within. The car appears solid black until you approach it. The polish on the car was stunningly buffed as all of the fine lines on the car were brought to life. Upon closer inspection, you can see that every external nook and cranny of the car has been thoroughly cleaned and detailed. This included the wheels and rims which were spotless. Further, the headlights and taillights are now crystal clear free of any blemishes. In the end, Sean is someone you would want associated with your car because he's simply a perfectionist with a deep knowledge of automotive paint restoration. Few people find their lot in life; Sean's life purpose can be found in his love of vehicle restoration. He is meticulous/conscientious and passionate about his craft. He treated my car as if it were his own and it is evident in his commitment to quality that shows in every aspect of my car's appearance. I think you have to have a degree of trust/belief in a business these days since there are many that are unscrupulous. Bulletproof Auto Spa is not one of those. I placed my full faith and confidence in both Sean and his team and I would just have easily lambasted them if their work was not up to par. They are a breed set apart. Kudos for exceeding my expectations and for earning another 5-star accolade. Overall, my car received a paint protection that is nothing short of outstanding. If you're looking to take your car's appearance to the next level, get on their calendar, you will not be disappointed. Tell them Rick sent you.
Bulletproof Auto Spa was a premium experience. This is extremely rare in the world of wraps. These guys know what they are doing, and the quality exceeded my expectations. I've been driving my car for 4 years but it wasn't my ideal color from the start. It still performed amazingly and was low mileage so I brought it to bulletproof and the result was top notch everything I wanted. They detailed the car too which was a nice touch. I went to Bulletproof because my 2023 M4 was a victim of overspray, requiring paint correct, PPF re-installation and new ceramic coating. Sean and his team were extremely thorough, transparent and assistive throughout the entire process. Providing me very detailed information and explanations that made dealing with the insurance appraiser a breeze. The quality of work that they perform is like none other I have experienced, they did an absolutely amazing job applying my PPF (can't even tell it's there!) and ceramic coating. They also do an amazing job washing that car, I don't trust anyone else to touch it. They aren't the cheapest shop in the area, but... you get what you pay for. I've had bad experiences when trying to save a few $$$'s, it's not worth it. Sean and his team are definitely worth the peace of mind and excellent work. read more

The tl;dr: Bulletproof Auto Spa does amazing work, and keeps you completely in the loop throughout all steps of the process. The final product they delivered absolutely exceeded my expectations. When we got our Metallic Blue Tesla Model S Plaid at the beginning of the year I connected with Bulletproof Auto Spa through their working relationship with Unplugged Performance. I knew whoever UP recommended for work on a Tesla would be the best in SoCal, and they exceeded my expectations. We wanted to get a full body matte white / blue pearlescent color change wrap, matte black wrapping of glossy and chrome pieces (including logos and badges), with a ceramic coating. They also did a window tint on the side and rear windows, protective film on the windshield, and installed the Unplugged Performance x Koenigsegg spoiler. As you can see from the pictures below, even from inside of the doors, you can't tell it's actually a blue Model S. Also, it looks 10x better than any picture I've managed to take of it. We worked with Sean on this project, and his communication was top notch. We always knew what was going on with the project, even when we hit some unexpected delays due to some discovered "quirks" from the Tesla factory. I also had an idea for something extra when dropping off the car, and they were able to make that happen. I never once questioned any additional time needed to finish the car, because I knew they were taking their time in making sure the job was done 100% correct the first time. They absolutely delivered on that. The car looks amazing, and if I ever want to do anything else I'll absolutely be bringing it back to them. read more

When it finally came time for them to work on the vehicle it was done professionally just like the rest of there Service. they were extremely meticulous with removing panels from the body and wrapping behind, making the vehicle appear as one color all the way through the cracks even the panel alignment came back better than what Tesla gave me. I added a few sets of photos to this message one which was the professional photos they took, The others were photos I took out in the wild and when the vehicle was being stripped down. The team at Bulletproof did an amazing job on both my Tesla and new Bronco. The tint, Xpel, and Gyeon coating are flawless. They also were great with being flexible as I wanted to continually add little tweaks to the packages I selected. When you want to protect your investment, go to Bulletproof Auto Spa/ Unplugged Performance. They offer superb service for your Tesla needs. It took me a while to decide where to take my car for PPF and Ceramic coating. Being a woman with no idea about cars, Mike was very helpful in discussing to me the process and the pros of getting the right protection for my Model 3. After getting a new Model 3 I wanted to get tint, PPF, ceramic coating and blacked out emblems. I spent a ton of time researching shops all throughout SoCal. What initially caught my eye with Bulletproof was the quality of work and it didn't hurt that they have a ton of experience with Teslas. Once I got into the planning with Mike, I knew this was the right place. He is VERY knowledgeable and answered my many questions. The great customer service through the entire process and attention to detail make you as the customer confident your car is in good hands. They also use the best products available (Xpel tint/PPF and Gyeon ceramic coating). I'm very happy I chose Bulletproof and will use/recommend them moving forward. read more

I had my Red Model 3 wrapped with Stealth PPF, Chrome Delete, and the matte ceramic coating. The results were excellent, the service was very good, and my car was completed sooner than the estimate. What I found most important is that my car was a 2018 and had some rock chips and things. The issues were raised, explained, and my expectations were adjusted which then matched what I saw upon pickup. read more

Mike, Tricia and Sean are true professionals at what they do. Great customer service! Their attention to detail and keeping current with the best products really stands out. My 2021 Model S Plaid looks amazing with the entire car wrapped in PPF, with a ceramic coating on top. WOW! Also, they recommended a windshield film that has already paid off. I took a rock hit on the way to Mammoth and the film totally saved my front windshield. I highly recommend Bulletproof Auto Spa! read more

Was looking around to get my car's roof and side mirrors vinyl wrapped and received a few quotes from other shops. Decided to go with Bulletproof automotive after checking out their instagram page and saw all the amazing jobs they've been doing on cars. Specifically Teslas, so I knew a little ol' Acura would be no big thing for them to work on. Set my appointment up and 2 weeks later dropped my car in and received the next day. What can I say, I was 1000% pleased with the results! The roof wrap looks immaculate and gives the car a different look. Then matched with the side mirrors it just completes it. I had to contact again regarding an issue with the side mirror, but they worked on it quickly and efficiently, and honestly turned out 100 x's better with the redo. It was just a matter of the way the mirrors were built. I've already been complimented many tmes with the vinyl wrap and been asked where it got done. Unbelievable results! That really sums up the work that the Bulletproof Auto team has done with my car. I couldn't be more happy with the entire process and how detail oriented this shop is. After I purchased my car back in June, I was shopping around asking for quotes to see what I should expect for a ceramic coating in the LA area. Bulletproof was the only shop that asked if I could bring it in so that they could give me an accurate quote. Once I got there, Mike and Sean provided a detailed breakdown on what I should expect as well as what they would recommend for my car. At no point did I ever feel pressured to do anything I didn't want to add on to my car. Even after the quote, Mike was prompt with any questions I had regarding the services provided at any hour of the day I reached out. I ended up getting the front of the car PPF'd, the windshield protected, and a full ceramic coat. Once I booked the appointment I knew my car was in good hands. Mike sent over multiple pictures throughout the week providing updates throughout. I was so excited to get the car back and was blown away with the results. The color really "popped" and now I have peace of mind knowing that the front of my car is fully protected. After a couple of weeks since the work was done, I can honestly notice massive benefits of the ceramic coating in action. For context, I park my car under a carport close to the beach where the car is still open to the elements. Prior to getting the ceramic coating done, I would notice a thick layer of dust cake over the car hours after I would wash the car. Since the coating this "dust" has all but vanished. It really is amazing seeing it in action, and it brings me absolute joy seeing the car gleam in the sun. Really happy with how everything turned out and would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for their car detailing needs! read more

I appreciate how friendly and informative you guys were with every detail of the process. You promised impeccable, top grade, work and you guys truly delivered. My front end clear wrap is beautiful! My baby is so shiny and glossy it looks like a fresh coat of paint was just applied. What I love even more is that you guys don't cut corners. You added full protection with detail to every edge and corner not leaving any of it exposed. The film is placed so precise to the bumper, hood, headlights, side fenders, and even the back of the side mirrors. We truly love it!!. We also add ceramic tinted to our front two passenger windows. You guys made sure to match it almost perfectly to the back windows. She looks like it was tinted all at the same time. Thank You guys also for explaining the difference in tints and recommending the best for my baby! I'm looking forward to going back soon to get my windshield coated and my sons Model 3 wrapped. Originally I was looking for a clear bra installation, finally chose to install ceramic window tinting. My contact at this business was Tricia, from the beginning, she was very helpful and very detailed in explaining pricing and installation options. I went with her recommendation for tinting on my 2022 White RAV4 TRD. Tinting was installed quickly, professionally and I was blown away at the result. Their shop is professional, modern and very cool. Classic cars line the shop, ready for work to be done. I am very thankful for all the hard work. Looking for to my next visit. :) read more

This is a first rate shop. Got a stage 2 paint correction, ceramic coating and window tint of a 13 year old car. The car looks better than new! Sean was terrific ... he explained everything and kept me informed throughout the whole process. Highly recommend this place. Not cheap, but first rate. read more
