I live in an apartment complex and wasn't sure if that was going to align with the mobile detail as typically car washers need a hose to hook up to, but he found parking for both of us pretty quickly. I hired kevin using the yelp app. Had come home from camping and needed a detail. He quoted me a good price and while he only had a couple reviews they were good and he was responsive so I was hopeful for a good experience with a high effort of service as he tried to prove his business. He arrived on time did the service without any notable problems and took payment once finished, but when I looked closer the car clearly wasn't clean. There was sand and dust all over inside and the car had notable big residue on the exterior. In fact there was even some tape in two places on the interior that I had used as part of my trip and were not seen nor removed Clearly it was not to my expectations so I told him as much. His response was that I had ordered a "basic" service and that he didn't have the tools to get everything I was asking for. That wasn't true it just needed some additional effort, but regardless I never asked for a basic service I asked for a DETAIL and wanted my car cleaned. He never offered different levels of service nor did he mention during the process that an upgrade of service would be necessary. He just did shoddy work and left me to find out later. When he responded he did offer 15 dollars off a service the future which i guess is fine. But what I wanted him to do was finish the job I hired him for. I said as much and even went as far to pay the difference in pricing from basic to top tier. But instead of finding fair compromise and getting it right, he instead just stopped responding and ghosted. So I am writing this poor review which I honestly don't like doing. Listen I am sure he can do a fine job if your car is a little dirty and needs a wash, but a "detail" it was not and the customer service was totally unacceptable. Better options exist I would have to imagine considering he wasn't even the cheapest offer I got. read more

I decided to get my car detailed after long trip to NorCal. After launching the yelp project request, Kevin was really responsive and gave me his standard pricing. For my 2018 Ford Fusion, the standard detail was 85. He was able to accommodate street parking. The whole process took about an hour. Detailing included the outside of my car (which really needed it) and vacuum + dusting the interior. Overall, it was a great experience!
