The day started off with my battery died by way of not closing the car door last night. My appointment was at 10 am so at 9:30 I went to move the car from the garage but no juice. So I called Luis to reschedule but instead Luis said he would use his starter cables and go on from there. His cables could not reach the front of my vehicle so we agreed I would call AAA but again instead of canceling Luis said he would go and get coffee while I waited for AAA. AAA came Luis returned as promised and while my car recharged he proceeded with our original plan. I found Luis on yelp and thought I would try him out because of his great reviews. I was able to make an appointment for the following week, no problem. He arrived a few minutes early, which was great. I was just so happy with the service. He was so kind and professional. And of course, my car looks great inside! I was so happy because it really needed a good detail and there was stuff on my seats that needed to be shampooed out. Even the dashboard looks very clean and shiny, and I haven't seen it look like that in a long time! I also requested that he clean the cloth on the side of my doors, and he got everything out so I'm super happy about that. Smells super clean inside as well. I spoke to Luis on the phone about detailing my midsize SUV since I'm was selling it. I needed a full detail inside/out sand dog hair etc removed. He told me what he does, though he is a bit hard to understand, I scheduled it. Anyway, he detailed my car and all seemed fine, except, and this is a big except "I told him I was selling my car and wanted the engine clean/detailed"! He either forgot, since we spoke weeks prior or he didn't understand because when I opened the bonnet NOTHING was cleaned! The engine was still a mess. To make matters worse I have buyer coming over in an hour, which was the point of the detail in the first place and why I dint call Luis BACK!!. OMG Needless to say cleaning it last minute myself was ridiculous ( I didn't have the right tools or time) plus I made a mess of the front end/windows and tires in the process. I was f'n stressed. Later I discover, I see that the top side of 3 out of 4 wheels still had brake dust and grime on them when I move the car forward. If you use this service have him text it to you so you have a record of it. This should be a two star review when adding in the aggravation, but I don't like to do that. read more
