Before leaving the area i have beeen trying to eat as much traditional Swiss food as possible. Stumbled upon this place deep in the Opfilon cuty limits. They do some Swiss classic ms and some other modern European dishes, turns out the chef de cuisine is Pakistani! The amuse bouche soup was strong with those flavors and the staff was surprised i recognized the tastes. Then it got traditional super fast. Cheese spatzli, veal in mushroom cream sauce with rosti. It hit the cravings. The crazy thing with this place is apparently the owner bought the building 10 years ago and pit in his private collection of 46000 bottles! It's one of the biggest wine lists in Europe and one of the top in Switzerland. There are a lot of nice bottles, especially by the glass you wouldn't see most nice places. 24 pages by the glass is insane. As much as id like a petrus I opted for something of the region and had a Swiss wine from Ticino. Crazy what you find in random places read more
