Palmdale, CA I have…read morebeen looking for a velour pants for sometime now and while walking around the mall I saw a display from this store. I headed to the store, checked out their products and Voila! They have the pants I was looking for and in different colors too. Some pieces come as sets, and others are sold separately. The price was affordable and within my budget, so I purchased 2 pants in same color but different style. The store is well stocked, has enough room to move around and carries a nice selection of trendy items. Only one register is open and I believe she's the owner. It's kind of hard to understand her so I have asked a couple of times to repeat what she said. It was a nice shopping experience. I am happy with my purchase and can't wait to wear them.

They are so pushy and desperate with trying to make sales it makes me not want to go here anymore. I used to love shopping here when they had the other people working here.. Why is the entire staff new now??? Who hired them? Someone is messing up cus this store is going downhill fast. The new people make me feel very uncomfortable and I would rather drive to Santa Clarita for ht. The store is always a mess too. Why can't they clean up so we can see stuff better? The store never looked this bad before! It used to be way neater and better maintained. Overpriced trash ai shirts here too. :/// sad to see it the way it is now. Plz stop asking me if I need help and telling me the sales! Someone already did that the second I walked in.... :(((

So I came back later and they quickly helped a couple other "alt" people. Maybe it's because I don't have the punk look but that's still rude. When I went to return the shirts the employee sniffed them in front of me, mind you I never even took the shirts out the bag from when I bought them. They used to have friendly staff, I don't know if management changed. Don't come here if ur not "emo" enough. BS.

I visited the Torrid Palmdale Store and was really disappointed with the lack of customer service…read more There were three employees in the store, and not one greeted or acknowledged me. At one point I was holding several items, dropped one right in front of them, and no one offered to help--they were just talking behind the counter. I tried everything on and ended up liking a lot, but chose not to purchase in-store because of the experience. Instead, I bought the items online (over $600 worth). I've shopped at Torrid for years, and customer service used to be a big reason I kept coming back. It's disappointing to see that standard has slipped. Basic things like greeting customers and offering help really matter--especially when people go out of their way to shop in-store.
