Economy Honda Superstore - Original quote from Joe over the phone.

    Economy Honda Superstore

I called in January of 2026 to get a quote and book an appointment for my 2019 Honda Civic Sport…read moreHatchback for its 100k mile service. I spoke with Joe over the phone in January for the quote, as listed in the photo the top portion is what I was told would be done on my 100k service, the water pump, timing chain, serpentine belts, and coolant flush for $800 including parts and labor. I even confirmed multiple times everything listed would be done, because even I thought the price was low. Joe guaranteed that yes, all of this would be done and they could get it all done in one day. I then asked if he could quote me for a brake flush and brake pads which is listed in the bottom portion of the photo. I went ahead and booked my appointment for today March 19th as I am on vacation and it was the most convenient time for me without taking any extra days off work. I arrive this morning at 9am to drop off my car for my scheduled appointment, when I arrive they can't find my information in their system, it's like I never even booked an appointment, no biggie, I give Clint, the person helping me all my information and tell them what I'm there for. Clint then proceeds to tell me that in the 100k service it in fact does not include the timing chain or water pump, the 100k service only includes spark plugs, serpentine belt, and coolant flush and then quotes me $939 for this 100k service. That $939 did not include the brake flush or any brake pads. When I bring up the fact that this is not what I was told over the phone by Joe, Clint says "Joe is just the guy who answers our phones." If Joe is the guy who "just answers your phones" Joe should know what he's talking about. Your customer service representatives are typically the first point of contact with your customers, they are the ones who give your company the first impression to your customers. There was absolutely no apology from Clint over the confusion, no professionalism to even try to fix or resolve the issue just a shrug of the shoulders like 'no big deal'. I live in Jasper TN which is a 40 minute drive from Economy Honda Superstore I wasted an hour and 20 minutes of my time to drive out there, (my husband also drove his car out there so I wouldn't be stuck waiting at the dealership all day for my car to be finished) and back home just to be told what I was quoted was wrong and that they would not be doing what I was told they would be doing and that it was going to be $100+ more than what I was quoted for less work. I work in customer service myself, I understand mistakes happen and things can change but the absolute lack of accountability of their mistake is baffling. I would not recommend taking your car to this place what so ever unless you like being lied to and treated like you're not even worth their time.

They were reasonable, and they completed the mission.

I got my grandmother dream car from here for Mother's Day. I live in Atlanta but I was in town…read morevisiting and drove past this establishment and saw her dream car a Camaro. Everywhere I looked was very pricey but they were super affordable so l checked them out. I test drove it and knew it was the one. I can say going here I learned the difference between a car lot and a dealership. I'm used to getting my cars from a dealership. The only real big difference is the lot is buy as is. When I got the car it was a few issues, it needed 2 new tires and new brakes all around which was kind of costly. I would rather have everything fixed and included in the price. But the car was great and my granny loved it and I got everything fixed the same day. I would like to say that this was the fastest process once I got back in town to get the vehicle. The whole process took like a hour or 2 not long at all compared to my other experiences. Their communication was Al and always picked up the phone and answered any questions or concerns I had when I called. They are very honest and straight forward I really love that because I did bring up the issues with vehicle and she let me know like this is a buy as is lot so that explains pricing of vehicles. They make sure the vehicles are priced well for what they are worth. So far no issues my granny rode it to Atlanta one weekend and there were no issues at all. My experience was pretty great. This is a very fine establishment and they even let me borrow this big bow to put on top of the car for when I surprised my grandmother. I appreciate you all a lot for making her day special and will attach photos and videos below. In a month or two l will make updates to review letting you all know tag process and if any issues come up with vehicle but so far so great and I enjoyed doing business with this establishment. Here with an update so the experience was great and very quick process the only thing I can say bad is it being, a car lot so it's buy as is. It was a couple of things wrong with the car costing roughly around $2000 within the first 30-90 days. Battery, alternator, tires, and the rims are scratched up bad and something else is wrong it keep making a noise but I haven't figured it out yet but I'm used to dealerships so I now see the big difference. They're good business but I would rather most things be good on the car and everything be fixed and added to the price or something. Then like every-time something is brought up wrong with the car even before purchase it's kind of like a oh well type of response. Like when I emailed about the alternator I was told," Alternators do go out on cars. It's worked fine when you bought it." Which I get it it's buy as is . But a lot of things being wrong the first 3 months is not so good. But at least they are always willing and quick to respond. But yes this is my update.!

I recently traded in my 2015 Kia Sedona for a 2020 Kia Telluride at 423 Wholesalers on Ringgold…read moreRoad in East Ridge. I secured my loan through Southeastern Financial, and I purchased the Route 66 Extended Warranty that would cover the car for 36,000 miles. I went to pick up the car and found that it had a 6" crack in the windshield with several other severe chips. I went back in and asked when did the crack and chips happen. They acted like they didn't know, but Regina said that she could have it fixed and I would just have to pay her cost. I ended up getting the windshield replaced at Safelite myself. A few of days later after I driven about 200 miles the car started bucking when it got around 25 mph, and it threw an OBDI code: P0741 which states that the torque converter was faulty. I drove back to Southeast Financial and asked how locked in I was in this deal because I was already running into transmission trouble. They told me to call the extended warranty company to let them know what was going on. I did call and was told not to make any trips with the car but to take the car to a transmission shop of my choice as soon as it was convenient. I went to Midas Transmission Repair first because they have a very high consumer rating. Midas said that they did not work with Route 66 Warranties, but pointed out East Ridge Transmission a block from them. I took the car there and told them what was happening. It started with a little glitch, but then got a lot worse. A few days later I was notified that a claim for transmission repairs had been denied. I called Route 66 Warranty and they told me that the car's transmission problem was a pre-existing condition and that they would not cover it. I asked Route 66 what good was their extended warranty if they won't cover the bill. They told me that I didn't wait long enough to call for a claim. I asked them if they really thought that I would buy a car with a bd transmission? They said that the claim has been denied and that they couldn't do anything for me. With the car still at East Ridge Transmission, I went back to 423 Wholesalers and told them what was going on. Regina swore they never had a problem with the car (even though the car sat in the same place on the lot), and since it was past 7 days, she could do anything about it. She said the car was sold As Is. Meanwhile, I'm stuck with a $4,000 transmission bill when East Ridge Transmission fixes it. I would never have purchased the car knowing it had major problems. I should have known better to accept the car with the cracked windshield. it was not cracked a few days earlier when I test drove it. I became very leary about 423 Wholesalers when Regina said she could have it fixed for her cost With no cost out of her pocket. I guess I was ripped off in every way possible With this vehicle purchase.

Acura - They said our trade wasn't worth much because it's too hard to sell a used Tesla. I guess they will make $8k on it...

They put a new batter, new tire sensor, oil change. Little did I know when I went in for my first oil change at Subaru a list of way past overdue maintenance services were overlooked by Acura. I ended up spending over $1200 dollars to get the car up to date. Nothing on the vehicle history report stated that any of these required services were completed and when Subaru checked their records none were found on it either. I'm very disappointed that Acura did not take care of this before selling the vehicle. At this point I will never do business with them again in the future.

Not Negotiable, High Prices, Dishonest, Rough Trade Values…read more -1 Star: This dealer basically says the price is the price, so Acura gives you $1k off if you had a competitor luxury car discount and we got $1k off for getting a 2023 instead of 2024 model MDX. I wanted to negotiate more and they literally wouldn't budge. So out the door for around $72k without extended warranties or any add ons. I wanted to leave and forget getting a new car but my wife was frustrated and just wanted it to be over after all the time spent. I gave up on reasoning with her and told her she can do what she wants if she pays for it. We left and literally the next day she had buyers remorse already and asked why I let her buy it. That's marriage in my experience. Women don't listen to your advice and then ask why you didn't tell them what you already did tell them... ugh.... - 1 Star: They quoted us $476.30 "at their cost" for the roof rack cross bars, we looked online and got them $274.59 from Acura.com and oddly they ship and we picked them up at this Acura dealer, so don't order upgrades from them and just use the website so you do not get scammed. -1 Star: As for our 2022 Tesla Model 3 with 18k miles like new... they beat us up hard on tue trade saying they wouldn't even try to sell a Tesla because they are too hard to sell so they could only give us 33k trade for it because that's what they were selling it same day to Carmax for. Fast forward a week and our car is only there lot for $40,900... PS: I checked the Tesla app that night after we left and someone was driving at all over at 80-90 miles per house and then it was parked in the hood at some rough apartments afterwards until the battery was about stone dead.... Ugh... I feel like I already miss the Tesla in comparison to the new car, it was just not a roomy car when you have kids. PSS on the MDX: I think the car is visually appealing. I really like the brown interior. The weird touch pad for controls is strange and why there are no touch screens is beyond I do like the color and the wheels for sure. It really lacks power and isn't very stable on the road. It's not a bad car, but I don't see the value for the price. I feel Lexus gives you more car for the value. We will run it a couple years and do something else anyway... All in all it wasn't a fun experience. - 1 Star: Our sales guy was frustrated when I said I wanted to pay less than MSRP and literally rolled his eyes in irritation when I told him to ask the manager. He seems to expect people to just come in and want to pay full price and not bother him. The Asian sales manager was polite. He ave my son a little drawing pad of paper. 5 Stars for Mike in parts. He was a funny guy, good sense of humor and knowledgeable. He took good care of our needs. 5 Stars for The finance guy. He was the most polite person in the sales process. Very professional and didn't try to force anything on us. No drama. They had a huge selection of MDX vehicles and not many other new vehicles it seems.

Mama D found the car for me and passed along the info with superb customer service, and really wanted to know my needs. Luke Hefner helped sell the car to me and this guy knew his stuff, even getting a guy from the service staff to check out the car and test drive with me. Every person from the team that I interacted with had integrity and genuinely cared about selling me a good car within my price range in the short window of time I had. I cannot recommend Capital Toyota enough, and while I know my car is going to last me a long time, I'd strongly consider going all the way down to Chattanooga just to buy a car from them again.

Having recently relocated, I needed to establish a new dealership relationship for both service and future vehicle purchases. With two personal vehicles and two company vehicles, this visit was essentially an interview--to confirm whether I'd found the right partner. For the first time in my life, I was refused an oil change because I didn't have an appointment. The response was curt and dismissive--more of an order to leave than a conversation. No friendliness, no effort to accommodate. I was simply handed a card and told to schedule next time. I immediately drove to my second-choice dealership. They acknowledged I'd need to wait, but welcomed me nonetheless. I was in and out within an hour, greeted with a smile and sent off with a wave. The contrast in tone and service was striking. I fully understand the value of appointments--especially for diagnostics or major repairs--and I respect that scheduled customers take priority. But I've never needed an appointment for an oil change, and that flexibility and a positive attitude have won my loyalty every time. It's a small accommodation and a smile that speaks volumes about a dealership's culture. Now I've made my choice. The interview is ended. While waiting for my oil change I entered negotation on a replacement vehicle.
