I recommend Clayton Volvo Parts, ask for Thomas the Parts Manager, he will answer phone and get parts correct and delivered on time. Maddie Knight helped me throughout the span of a few days while I was being indecisive on exactly what I wanted. I knew I wanted a Subaru Impreza but there was another used one (same make, model, and year) I had my eyes on though it had lower miles. She and Eddie both were extremely patient with me and I didn't ever feel pressured into anything. I ended up going with the one my co-worker had sent me down in Pensacola but this does not take away from the experience I had at Volvo Chattanooga with Maddie. So I drove 8 hrs to this dealership to purchase 2 used vehicles cause they where the only ones I could find with decent deals and willing to work with me. I ended up buying the 2 vehicles cause the car fax reports looked good and the vehicles seemed reliable and lower miles. Even though the sales guy told me multiple times that each car was good to go and passed inspection and had no issues that wasn't the case. One vehicle they swapped on me meaning they showed me a 2018 vehicle and ended up selling me a 2017 that was the same make and model and almost the same color which was my fault for not catching it till it was to late. The second vehicle was really nice on the outside and inside. But before we were able to take it home the sales guy said he went to fill up the tank and the lights where flickering so he wanted to get the techs to look at it. He ended up saying it needed a new battery which they put in but after we got home 5hrs away the check engine light came on and it was a bad knock sensor causing the issue. Making the car go into limp mode and couldn't be driven but short distance, contacted the sale guy but they aren't doing anything to help or make it right so took it to a local hyundai dealership and they are fixing it. So I think long hyundai just changed the battery to reset the check engine light so when we drove it off it wasn't there problem anymore. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone they are disloyal and will not do the right thing if you have issues with the vehicles you purchase. Also seems they don't tell the truth about there vehicles as long as they can make a sell. read more

I was in transit from Cincinnati to Atlanta and my car broke down. My car was towed to this dealer in the evening. By 11:00 am the next day my car was serviced and I was on the road headed back to Atlanta. I was very happy with the courtesy of all I interacted with and there were several. Had my 2011 S60 over heat on my way home to Knoxville from Atlanta. Was able to get my Volvo to Chattanooga Volvo and was charged over $600 to replace the coolant reservoir. After pulling out I noticed the light for overheating came back on. Turned around and went right back. Service team looked it over and told me the issues was fixed, but the coolant sensor has a short that I could get fixed back in Knoxville. The service person then told me, "don't worry the car is completely SAFE to drive home." After I got 59 miles down the road I had steam start pouring from the hood. After it cooled down I popped the hood and saw the engine compartment covered in coolant, and done running. After calling was offered a number to a tow truck company that I would have to pay for, and told they could try and get me a rental but would cost be $25 per day. This forced me to call AAA and pay $200 to get back to Clayton Volvo, who is closed till Monday and threatening to close their gates if I don't get there before they close. Luckily I did not have my two daughters with me, but because of this I am hours late picking them up, and no way to get them. Noticed a sign in their service center that said #1 in customer service. I think not! Your team promised me my safety, and just put me on the road in a ticking time bomb. How is that safe?!?! Then when faced with this all I'm offered is no help except that if Clayton can prove it was the part they fixed they would pay for it. What BS!!!! Come one Volvo I own an XC60 and a S60, and this is what I get?!?!? I rave about Volvo to everyone, but after this experience my tune will be changing. Can't believe you would do nothing after your service Team told me, "I promise you it is safe to drive." Time to step up! read more

A good first impression rapidly deteriorated. Made a trip from out of state to test drive a used car -- the salesman (Logan, supported by Jason) was attentive, and even let me take the car home for several days to really check it out. But I had some questions/concerns, and over time, I got a variety of conflicting information from the salesman and the dealership. Carfax indicated that the charging system had been checked and a new battery installed in late November; was assured that the low charge message was just because the system hadn't been reset. When I got back in touch with them two weeks later to buy the car, it was waiting for a new battery from Volvo. That made me wonder what else on the service record had been fudged. Finance rep tried to insist that I hadn't been quoted a particular interest rate, was insisting that the higher rate was the only one available, except, oh wait, he finally found where a lower rate was indicated for a shorter finance term, which was what I wanted anyway. Inquired about an extended warranty -- they sell a 3rd party warranty rather than the manufacturer's coverage, and weren't especially up front about that distinction. Finally, the salesman who was standing in for Logan while he was on vacation didn't return my call when I tried to set up an appointment to complete the purchase -- and now the car has been sold to a dealership employee. Coincidence? I don't know. But everything that happened after my first visit to this dealership felt like misdirection and deceit. I really wanted this car, and was going to buy it despite the bad vibes I was getting. Maybe it's better that I didn't. read more

Unresponsive, customers come last i dropped off my car on Friday for a check engine light and the service rep asked if i wanted to wait he said it would take about an hour and half to diagnose it. I decided to take an uber home which the dealership pays for a nice gesture. By 4pm I had not herd from the Rep so i called no one answered. Called again at 5pm no answer. I had to be somewhere so i had to take an uber and pay for it. Saturday came called again turns out my rep is off and the other guy did me a favor and said they havent even looked at the car and if wont be looked at till monday. I had to go to enterprise and pay for a rental car myself since i had no idea when i would have the car back. Also when you call unless you know you service reps name noone can help you and there is no voice mail box for you rep and he can only help you. Monday at 2pm the rep finally called and told me what was wrong but said it was too late and he would have to order it on tuesday. Wensday he called an my car was ready. Basically my car had been there 6 days for a minor issue. No apologies or offer to help with rental. I drove away and suddenly the check engine light was on again with a new issue tired calling my rep did not answer and as usual no one can help. I left a message for the manger on Monday also never called back. This is the worst volvo service i have ever seen. If you can avoid this place do or if you ok with not knowing the status of you car or get no service then go here. My car now has another problem that was caused by the dealership and no call back after my message to the service rep and also i have no way to contact my rep other then leaving messages. read more

The wait was longer than originally told, so I had to reschedule for a different day. I left the car the night before and Uber back to pick it up so I didn't have to wait. The staff was very nice and it was fairly painless - although took 3 trips to get service - 1) diagnose problem, 2) scheduled service; was going to have to wait over 2 hours, 3) service. While always a pain to get car serviced, it is nice to have someone friendly there to greet you. read more

Quality work. Miranda was great on keeping me updated on the progress of my work. They were short on Volvo techs that day, so behind schedule. Only improvement that knowing this they could have contacted me and asked me to come later. I have always said that routine Volvo maintenance is too expensive. My wife's cost for her Honda for the exact same items is 1/2 my cost for my Volvo. Volvo must be using special oil. If I was told that they pay their techs more I would be happy. read more

I went to Chattanooga Volvo to get two replacement keys for a 2003 XC-70 as the one key I had was pretty much deteriorated due to age. The process to get a new key is a pain but they made it as painless as possible, scheduled my time to program the keys and got me in and out quickly on my appointment date. They were all professional and friendly and I would use them again if the need were to arise. I highly recommend them! read more

We don't even live in Chattanooga and when we drove in because we could not get our frozen fuel Receptacle open the service department Spring into action. It was a little bit more serious than we thought and had to have the entire Fuel assembly changed which took about an hour and 45 minutes. I can't rate everybody at the Volvo service department highly enough, especially Terry the service repair man. Dealing with these people was a great experience and I wish we lived closer so they could be my dealership. read more

When it came time for a new car, I decided to look at Volvo's for their top tier safety ratings. When I called the dealership, I spoke with McKayla who was very informative and professional. She was able to set me up with an appointment so that right when I arrived, McKayla met me at the door and we proceeded through the showroom. She introduced me to Jason who gave me the run down on the vehicles I was considering. I was able to test drive a couple cars and eventually settled on a great vehicle. They allowed me to pick something up that I needed and worked with me on the price. It was a grade A 5 star experience and I would recommend anyone shopping here to ask for McKayla or Jason. I also met the employees in the service department who were super knowledgeable. So wether you own a car or are looking to buy, I would check out the Long dealerships. read more

I was in town from Seattle for the weekend and needed an oil change for my daughter's Volvo. They fit me in last minute and checked everything to ensure the vehicle's safety. Every one that I dealt with there was very professional, pleasant and kind. I even received a call the following day to make sure that everything was okay and that I was satisfied with the service. My husband and I drove from Columbus, GA (3.5 hours) to purchase a Volvo XC90 and trade in our SUV. We were offered a VERY low offer at the beginning which I understand our salesman, Jason, has very little to do with but it put a bad taste in our mouth from the get go. We ended up purchasing the car but after signing all the paperwork, we walked out to be told "someone" sprayed "something" on our windshield to remove the sticker and it would not come off and we would have to have the windshield replaced at their expense. Fast forward to about a month later, we call to set up an appointment to replace the windshield and Jason informs us it has to be done on a week day so we schedule for Friday at 8:00 am. My husband and I have to take a day off work, drive 3.5 hours to Chattanooga with our 5 month old child and when we arrive at 8 am to the service department, not only did they have NO IDEA we were coming, there's also no loaner car reserved like Jason ensured us. The service manager had to drive us to enterprise so we could stand in line and be given a mini van. When we returned to Volvo at the end of the day to pick up our car Jason never even muttered anything close to an apology, just excuses. And now, our newly installed windshield is leaking. I would avoid Jason at Volvo Chattanooga like the plague. read more
