I trusted the cost quoted to replace CV joints without research because recommended by a friend and the estimated cost seemed very reasonable. I was called with a cost of repair before they did the work and it was done on time and as quoted. The only frustrating thing was I wanted the car repaired and picked up by a friend since I was going to be out of town on business. I had a check made out to pay for the repairs but when I called I was told they would not accept a check. I reminded her I had stopped by a few days before to set up an appointment and at that time I explained I would be out of town on business and would they accept a check. I reminded her we were both were close friends with dealer who recommended them, she verbally agreed. I even suggested she contact him since I have done business with him over 20 years. She said that was not necessary. However, when I called to get the price and mentioned my friend would bring a check, drop off my truck and pick up my car. She told me she would not take a check. I reminded her based on my earlier visit the week, she agreed to accept a check since I would be out of town. It was no use, she said she never said that. I reminded her of our discussion but she did not remember. Why would I make that up since I came in to discuss my being out of town when making the appointment. I tried to convince her of out discussion but no use so I gave up. I ended up paying a 3% credit card surcharge. Because of this, I decided not to drop of my 2016 RAM because of this issue, I took my business to another auto shop.

When I arrived the gentleman at the front desk was bothered by the fact that I was dropping it off and once I told him I had already spoke to someone that was going to get the car in and do the repairs, he reluctantly took my keys. My wife calls to check the status 4 hours after drop off just trying to come up with a game plan as we were over 500 miles away with no other transportation. The gentleman the. Told her it would be close to closing or a little after, so I got there at closing and buddy that mechanic didn't even let me finish speaking before he started being a complete jerk. The family that took me to drop me off, went in with me and left just as floored as I was at the way they began speaking and treating us. The morning after picking the car up at 10pm the night before, I checked the pieces under the hood to find everything they touched had been broken that was brand new when I dropped it off. Was finally able to speak to someone after providing proof from a local to me repair shop that even stated the issues were a result of the damage. The establishment refunded me for the labor cost that we paid to have them screw our car up and then had the nerve to blame everything on the mileage of the vehicle and my rudeness was the cause for the issues we are having. I requested they pay for the damages they caused to my vehicle and they have ignored me since then! I would not recommend this business to my worst enemy. They are a joke and will come up with every excuse to not be held responsible for their crappy work. I have pictures of everything and if I could post them here, I would! Beware and ask around before using them because I have already heard of two local people that I know of in the last little bit that have gotten their vehicle back messed up and they refuse to fix the issues they know they have done wrong. This place is a joke that preys upon honest people that need car repairs! Don't use them!! I…read moretook it to Classic Collision to replace the fog light lamp bezel (its a piece of plastic), they quoted 1400 bucks that included a paint job, a new fog light and the bezel. Then I brought the car to Paul at North Shore Auto Collision, he quoted me a tenth of their price, reaffixed the fog light which needed to be clipped back in and pointed out that all the little scrapes were under the bumper which would not be visible, so I saved on paint. He was pleasant, polite and professional. The work was completed in a just a few hours and my car was good as new, they even removed some of the scuffs which was very nice of them. Such a positive experience. I will be recommending North Shore Auto Collision moving forward.
