He takes care of everyone. He is kind and nice. He gets the job done quick and he doesn't mess around especially doing the graveyard shift can you imagine what he has to deal with all the homeless people that hang out around there Matter of fact, I had a man just knocking at my window, scared the daylights out of me asking me for a light. I just drove off , Chris is the other employee that I talked with. He is kind as well .I went in there and I had to pay for something and I had to put it on two different cards not only that I didn't have enough change to give him so he took his own money and put it in for me. Parking situation here is quite lacking unless you are getting gas at the pumps. If you have visited a Circle K or really any gas station connivence store you know what to expect. A spot worth grabbing drinks or a quick snack typically for long road trips otherwise you can find a better option. We almost missed out on our reason for our visit today due to one of their slushie machines clearly having an issue. Red slushie all over the floor in a giant mess. Lots of paper towels down and a wet floor sign. It was still running enough for us to get a Coke slushie at least. They also had someone outside asking for money as soon as you got close to entering the store. You can find better gas station stores in the area for sure.

Everyone was friendly and engaging. I had a very pleasant conversation with a gentleman who worked there regarding my car. If you change the surroundings, you'd think you were at a small town general store where every knew everyone else. Definitely will continue to return in my trips in to Portland!

It's one of the Cumby's that got entirely renovated (and because of the way it's set back and has a washed out color palette, it doesn't seem to be an eyesore in what's an established, historical, family-oriented neighborhood... I also know it's in a safe area where folks can easily walk to it at night with no worries). 2. It's got plenty of parking. 3. It's got plenty of gas pumps. The biggest problem here I think is it's diagonal location offering four separate entrance/exits. Because of this, people are constantly whipping in and out of here - usually with no blinkers or any regard for the heavy traffic on both Brighton and Woodford. There are times I've wanted to stop here to gas up, but have chosen to wait until whatever gas station was next in my travels because I was genuinely nervous about getting rear-ended or smashed into by the people using Cumby's as a through-street.

They offer the normal convenience food items of beer, soda, chips, breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, milk, etc. and lottery tickets as well as smokes and such. Oh, and the music is pretty good. Thank goodness they had two people running the cash registers and it didn't take long for me to work my way to the front of the cash out line. The parking lot was crowded full with vehicles all trying to buy gas or work there way to a parking spot so they can make their way into the store for their Thanksgiving needs. Normally, I would have given Cumbys a 3 rating today, but do to the fact that they offered it's customers a free cup of coffee and the fantastic demeanor of the sales associates I am up in my rating to 4.
