Excellent service, on time, did everything we wanted in a timely fashion., Definitely recommend them!

Kody and his team have become our go-to electricians. Thoughtful, intelligent and respectful. From small to large projects, they truly can handle anything. We have done dozens of jobs with them for our businesses and home and every single one of them was completed without any issues. I can't even remember the last time we could say that about anyone's service We truly appreciate how everything is dealt with on-time and on-budget! read more

Professional service. Prompt response. Attentive to my needs. Great price and customer service.

I called these folks a few weeks back to come provide a quote for a bunch of electrical work at my house in New Monterey.... I need a new main panel, light fixtures, 240 volt circuit for dryer, some patio lights... really a bunch of things. A nice lady answered the phone and we scheduled an appointment for 2 PM, three days hence. I had to come home early from work for this appointment but figured it was worth it because they have good reviews. Anyhow, nobody showed up. I called at 3 PM and again at 3:30 PM and nobody answered... very odd. I waited a few days and tried calling again around noon to see if I could schedule another time for my quote, left a voicemail and again no answer and no call back. Very disappointing experience. This company is obviously very disorganized. I believe many of the positive reviews on here about this company are fake, given my poor experience. read more

Excellent service, friendly technician. Problem identified and explained succinctly.

During this current Coronavirus pandemic, we required the need of a professional electrician to come out and replace a failing Circuit Breaker Panel at one of my father-in-laws rental homes. I Googled 'best' & 'honest' electrical companies in Monterey County. At the top of that list was Wright Electrical Company of Monterey, Ca. Their reviews were all 5's, so I put my faith in them to assist my father-in-law (a retired senior}, in hopes that he would not get taken advantage of! I stayed involved throughout and can definitely say that he wasn't!!! My initial experience began with Leslie, who provided a warm reception to my initial inquiry call! Leslie was caring, professional, and truly 'earned' my business by promising on that first call that we would indeed receive the excellent and honest service that I was looking for! I had Leslie schedule our appointment! Assisting us on the day of our service call was 'Austin!' Austin was friendly, organized, engaging and on time! Austin didn't mind us watching his expert care and work in action, as he performed a thorough job in both detail and workmanship, all while keeping within the time frame that he had promised us! My father-in-law was extremely happy with me for recommending Wright Electrical and I/we were definitely happy with the excellent work of Austin! I must say that I couldn't have made a better choice than Wright Electrical Company of Monterey! You should all do the same! We will be utilizing their services in the future at all of our other properties when the needs arise! Again... Thank you! read more

We had difficulty finding an electrician willing to take our rather small job. We called several different companies & there was no response and no returned call until I called Wright Electric. A very pleasant secretary answered, scheduled the work time, and the young man who came was punctual, knowledgable and did an excellent job. We are very pleased. read more

Great electrician to work with. Kody is very professional and knowledgeable. He really took his time and reviewed my issues and educated me about the particulars of my house electrical specifics. I felt greatly reassured after he explained everything to me that we were in good shape. Much appreciated. When he came back to do the work he was quick and efficient, even returning in the same day after some time had to be corrected to finish the job. Really appreciated him going out if his way to finish so quickly and get my kitchen back to functioning. Calling on the phone for an appointment was easy and friendly. Would not hesitate to use again. read more

Ryan Electric was excellent. Efficient, professional, and affordable. We were very happy with his quick response and competency.

We had a challenging electrical job that required a re-wiring down through the crawl space. Wright electric timely did this job, gave us a bunch of tips on the wiring of the rest of the house, and also removed a series of legacy left over wires in the house whose purpose we did not understand. I very highly recommend Wright electric!! read more

We had a problem with our security/smoke detector systems, we called Wright electrical company and they were very professional and had a clear idea of their schedule availability and we booked an appointment. Kody gave us a call to inform us before arriving which we find convenient to allow us to wrap up any work meetings we are on. Kody was very friendly and knowledgeable, he fixed what we needed fixed and educated us on many things we needed to know. He did not mind our many questions and gave us all the time we needed. I wish i knew this before as we have used many other electrician services and they would not come nearly as professional/helpful. I will sure call Wright electrical company for whatever future electrical needs we have. read more

The plumber installed a tankless water heater, but failed to tell me that I needed an outside power outlet. I found Wright electric on yelp and gave them a call. Kody went out the next morning and finished the job. He was extremely helpful and even took a look at trying to help me out with another issue. read more

Very satisfied with their service. We had a small job, new electrical plug installation and circuit breaker. Cody was able to accommodate us into his schedule the next day. The morning of our appointment we were greeted by Austin and Rafael who following all COVID precautions were very courteous and professional. The job was promptly done, everything was left clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Wright electrical company. read more

The electrician whose name is Cody was sosooo nice and efficient. I have a fuse or sub penal problem last night. Two of my rooms has no electricity at all( thought there was a fuse). Cody answered the call and came to check right away. Help fix it in less than TEN minutes WITHOUT charging any service fee. Super efficient. read more

Amazing service. My husband and I noticed a burning smell in the garage right before we were going to bed. We called at least half a dozen "emergency electricians" and no one answered, EXCEPT Wright Electrical. They walked us through exactly what to look for to get a safe and worry-free night of sleep. I wish I had called them first! I cannot recommend them enough! read more

I personally remodeled my kitchen during the summer of 2017. The only item I didn't want to mess with was a 220v receptacle for our oven/range and the rewiring of an existing outlet for our microwave. I called five electricians. One never called back. One was over an hour late with no call. Two tried to sell me things I didn't want. One got the job and then was fired because he BS'd me about calling the city and PGE for approval. A month passed with no updates. I called PGE and the city, nothing had been started. I stumbled across Kody and his team at Wright Electrical Company here on Yelp. He showed up on time, listened to what I wanted, and made reasonable recommendations. He completed the job efficiently and left the area in better condition than it was in when he started. All of the other electricians told me I'd be responsible to do some drywall patch work for a part of the job. I never discussed it with Kody because I thought that was standard procedure after hearing it multiple times. To my surprise, the hole was patched and seamless. Above and beyond my expectation. The kitchen was completed in August. We received our appliances and the installers from the Big Box store goofed up the wiring on the oven. It arch welded the terminals of the 220v receptacle Kody installed. They replaced it, but it wasn't seated well. Kody came by, checked it and fixed it as a courtesy. He explained exactly what happened with their wiring. I knew I had found my electrician. My kitchen work was an entry project to find my electrician. Knowing I had a reliable company, I pursued my next more costly electrical need, replacing the original 1959 100 amp "fire starter" Federal Pacific service panel. I had received bids from all of the kitchen remodel electricians for the panel back when they bid on the 220v receptacle. Kody/WEC was right in the middle of the quote range. Once I gave him the green light he contacted PG&E the next day regarding a gas line and if I'd have to move the panel. He received approval for placement within a week and coordinated with the city for appropriate permits. The panel process was an all-day event with several follow ups for city inspection, stucco layers, and labeling. The panel is complete and looks like it belongs there. All of his employees were professional and well spoken. I can rest assured knowing I have a panel that will function properly and safely for my family. The stucco work is exceptional and everything was replaced as discussed. They most recently installed an exterior 110v outlet for my Prius Plug-In. The install is clean and exactly what I was looking for. I didn't provide any guidance. I simply arrived home and it was better than expected. Consistent with all of the other work. Above all else, I loved that I could communicate with him via text. Kody and WEC will be my go-to electrician for anything applicable. Now if only I could find the same in tree service. read more

Austin and Spencer were great: polite, knowledgeable. and easy to work with. i will call Wright electric in the future

They scheduled promptly and showed up on time. Their prices seem very fair although I was in a hurry to get the job done and didn't really get any other meaningful quotes. There was a minor issue but again they scheduled a time to fix it promptly, fixed the problem, and there were no other issues. read more

Kody is a professional knowledgeable electrician. He took his time to figure out what was beeping in our house, disconnected the culprit, installed a new smoke detector for us and answered all our questions with extreme patience and provided all the information we needed. He didn't charge us for his time which is extremely generous. He was on-time as well. He and his company will be our go to person for all electrical services from now on. I wish we found his company before. It is better late than never. Thank you Koby! read more

Their phone was answered on first call, and an appointment was scheduled for the estimate the next day. Adam came out right on time during some pretty bad weather, unfortunately the power was out in our whole neighborhood. He looked over the job of installing a Tesla connection in my garage and gave me an instant quote. I agreed and he told he needed to grab a component and he could do it right then! Twenty minutes later he returned and had the whole job completed within an hour! Very professional and paid attention to details while having to do an installation in those conditions. Only issue was he couldn't actually check it because of the outage but assured me he had done it correctly. When the power came back 20 hours later I checked it and it worked flawlessly, even the orientation of the socket was correct. I highly recommend them. read more

Six stars . This is long so sit down. For a year we looked for a fixer upper on the Monterey Peninsula . We found one that was cosmetically great but mechanically neglected . We wanted it and figured mechanics would be easier than cosmetics cuz no fight over which color, which faucets ,which cabinets etc.. House was built in 1941 so electrical was "Knob and tube" .Scary to some but terrifying to INSURANCE CO.s ! No one would touch the house except AAA. and they said you have 60 days to rewire the whole house,1800 sq ft. , and if not they are out . Enter Kody Wright owner of Wright Electric. We explained to him our dilemma and he explained our options .We waited two weeks for them to clear their calendar and went with a time and material bid cuz no way of knowing what they will find til the cut open the house . He gave us a range of price and time to do the job . It took twice as long because of a crawl space only 18" tall but Kody stayed within the price range . Everything worked great , looked great( repair of plaster walls) etc . Kody's family is in the const business so when we moved on passed electrical we used his connections ( brother-in-laws ) for paint, insulation, french drain , pest remediation Etc . What I need going forward I'll be callin in the Wright Brothers !!! Thanks to all ; Kody, Austin,Raphael ,Kevin, and Iron Mike . Special shout-out to Dana Schmerber and Josh of Monterey Custom Tile and Fabrication who took care of so many thing but who I didn't find on Yelp read more

Well guys, you have been very unresponsive since my first efforts through the website in late May, then with a brief but fleeting e-mail response from Leslie and Kody who promised to get back to me - but nothing...... and I was not only looking forward to using a smaller local company such as your selves, but truly getting my long-delayed electrical needs addressed. I am still without even a call or e-mail for prospective service. If COVID has shut you down, a simple call would have been nice. If you are booked out for a month, a simple call would have been nice. Well i started with YELP on this and was encouraged, but now will have to return and report our unfortunate experience, and then find someone else willing to provide service. Taven M. We can't say enough about Cody & his crew. We had a tricky situation involving changing circuits, running new lines under an old house and putting in new lighting in a house that had not been updated in 50 years. Austin (my new hero) thought outside the box - was cheerful; crawled under the house to check everything out. Never said no - just tried to make our requests happen. He really knows his stuff - brought one guy to help and they were so quiet, professional and thorough. You can tell Austin loves his work! read more

I live in an est. 70 year old house. The wiring is original. The outside fuse box original also and when it rained one breaker would often pop and power down the middle of the house would be out. Finally, tired of it, I spent the $3k to have the old box torn out of where it was built into the stucco wall, and complete new piping, wiring and new equipment installed. Work was done successfully, the two electricians were highly skilled, very polite and did a great job of cleaning up after done. Even did painting to make things look just that much nicer. I am very happy with Wright. Small outfit, but highly motivated and with experienced people. read more

Wright Electrical Company recently sent two excellent electricians to my home for several hours of work I could not perform.
