One of our old fluorescent recessed lights stopped working and I tried to change it to a newer LED recessed light. I wasn't able to get it to work and I called Nitesh. He gave me some tips to bypass the transformer but I still wasn't able to get it to work. He offered to come check it out and gave me a date and time a few days later. He made the drive up to San Jose all the way from Monterey and came early too. While fixing it, he patiently walked me through his steps so I could do it myself next time incase another old one goes out (I still have a couple old lights left and they don't make them anymore). We had him tackle a significant makeover and paint job on our 122 year old cottage. Omar's bid was a good 20% higher than #2. We chose him because of how clearly he talked the details, from paint chemistry for a salt air climate to the right way to replace those old cedar shingles. He also had a new kitchen window created from scratch to match the ones in the rest of the old house. Over the 3 - 4 week project, Omar and his crew invariably left the place immaculate, no clutter, no mess. The answer to nearly ever request was "Yes, we can do that." While they are not cheap, the tab for all of the extras we asked for was fair. And we have no doubt that the work will hold up very well. When you think about how valuable your home is, why would you not hire the best in the business to fix whatever is wrong with it? The property will appreciate, and pay you back 10X over.

I'm a pretty handy guy so I thought I could install an EV charger myself. The next day it was smoking and I'm sure was close to catching fire. I called Adams Electric Design and it's a good thing I did! Bill and his apprentice came right away, diagnosed the problem, came up with a better (and safer) game plan, did it way more reasonably than I thought, and most importantly didn't make me feel like a fool for trying it myself. I have now learned that I shouldn't be doing electric jobs myself. I'll be calling Bill. read more

I reached out to several electricians for an issue with my bathroom lighting. Only 1 of 4 electricians even bothered to respond - RGE. They discussed the issue I was having with me and suggested I take a few steps to see if I could fix the issue myself and if those steps didn't work, then they'd come out and work on. Their advice over the phone was really helpful and ultimately fixed the issue I was having. They even followed up with a phone call a week later to see how things went. This level of customer care is practically unheard of in the construction industry these days. Though I didn't use RGE this go around, they'll definitely be on my speed dial when we're ready to upgrade our service panel in the next year.
