SWITCHED electric performed an outlet install and prepared two elctrical cords for us. We were very unhappy with service for a number of reasons: 1st. The cords had the incorrect plug installed for the machine, so had to be taken back to be replaced. 2. The actual job and the fix took several weeks in total To schedule and complete. 3. We were charged $1,300 in total- turns out you can buy the cords we needed for about $100 on Amazon/Lowes etc. we were massively overcharged for a job that was not even completed correctly. 4. after paying a deposit, and work completed, I received a final bill. This bill was several hundred $ mofe that the guaranteed quote. I had to contact the owner to have him correct it before paying- and after all the other issues this truly felt like a bait and switch. 5. owner asked for payment on the day of. This felt very unprofessional as this is a commercial job and the terms of the quote were 30 days. Overall- the job was handled carelessly, without regard for time and included several mistakes, as well as the fact that we were massively overcharged. I have a friend who is an electrican and he said that $1,300 was a massive overcharge for this job, and the circuit work that was done took 20 mins or less. At the time I assumed the materials for the cords were the expensive aspect- but in retrospecwe were just ripped off.
