Had another great experience working with Nitesh yesterday. He's like that one friend that goes above and beyond to help you out. And he's also very patient and kind. One of our old fluorescent recessed lights stopped working and I tried to change it to a newer LED recessed light. I wasn't able to get it to work and I called Nitesh. He gave me some tips to bypass the transformer but I still wasn't able to get it to work. He offered to come check it out and gave me a date and time a few days later. He made the drive up to San Jose all the way from Monterey and came early too. While fixing it, he patiently walked me through his steps so I could do it myself next time incase another old one goes out (I still have a couple old lights left and they don't make them anymore). Great experience with Eskay Electric! My main electrical panel had corrosion causing me to only have partial power to my house. I called him on Monday he came over soon after, I needed a new panel and gave me a free estimate, had a couple of other estimates done, but he had the best price and he immediately got started on coordinating with PGE, the city permit and started working early Wednesday and by the afternoon the new panel was in, city came issued permit and PGE was back to turn on the power! We had a few projects we needed Nitesh and his team to assist with and they were done very well. The projects that we needed were 5 fluorescent bulbs needed to be removed and the fixtures retrofitted, a new light timer needed to be installed on the front porch lights, and we needed a Ring doorbell camera installed. Nitesh replaced the the fluorescent set with industry trending LEDs, put in and set the light timer, and helped me upload and set up the app on my phone after installing the Ring doorbell camera. There was some challenges with placement due to the shape of the walls and clearance but he was able to navigate and route cabling in an amazing fashion. Kumar is really responsive and helpful. We had him replace our old normal outlets for some GFCI outlets in the kitchen, the bathroom, and a couple other living spaces. I keep aquariums so it's pretty necessary to have this in the living area. He was also responsive and reasonably priced to help install normal light fixtures replacing the recessed lighting we had in the kitchen, so we can access and maintain the lights better. I had them install two indoor outlets, which they did a good job on, but then the outlets stopped working. I went through the breakers, and there were no issues. I called them and let them know, he came out the next day. He arrived and said it was probably a GFCI, checked two outlets outside, reset one, and the problem was fixed. When they did the job, I was not aware that they tied into the outside outlets. He arrived at 1:55, left by 2:01, and wanted to charge me $175.00. When I questioned that, he knocked off $50.00. So, $125.00 for something he could have said to check over the phone and took 3 minutes to fix. read more
