I leased to own a car from Wright auto sales the 15 of September 2009. About two weeks later we decided that the car was not running perfectly, we wanted to return it. The gentlemen there names John Macdonald refused to take the car back. We believed that even though the car was running, it was struggling at some points. On October 14th, my boyfriend was taking boxes over to our new place and what do you know? It breaks down. The mechanic at wright auto took it in and fixed it. It was the fuel sensor. The car still struggled after that and hte engine light was still on. In January, we started having problems with it again. It would not go faster then 40 km/h. We took it back to teh shop. They said there was nothing wrong and sent us back. We took it back a week later and still they fooled around said it was fine. One week after that we take the car back and they FINALLY find the problem. Conviently our warrantee just expired and they have to charge us. 200$ later, the engine light is still on and the mechanic tells us to ignore it. We hope all is well and good, but nope. The car stalls here and there and with a 400$ a month payment we are struggling to keep up. We can't take it to get it fixed right away. The car starts shaking so we decide to take it in to the shop. We find out that a tire could have blown on the car at any time and the wheel bearing was not on tight enough. According to the mechanic this should have been looked at before the car was sold. We get it fixed and put new tires on it. In July 2010, the car starts stalling, not driving fast. We are fed up. We take it to the mechanic and get a FULL check (not the Wright Auto mechanic - why take it to someone who already dooped us?) It is going to cost 1200$ to fix. We call them, tell them to come get the car because we are done with it. It has been nothing but horrible customer service. Right away without trying to come up with a solution, Sharron (receptionist) says she will take us to court. I would strongly recommend going to a different dealership. All they care about is the money and not the people. I have been in many customer service positions in my life, and if I treated just one customer the way we were treated, I would have been fired. read more
