I was so so happy to see this place off of state street ! I remember when they were in the same building as my college, years ago. I got through boring 3 hour classes because I got to nibble on their amazing wraps and salads! Barbacoa and Costa Vida are good, but Wriggles is the original! Mike and his sister are always friendly and their cilantro ranch is to die for! Thanks Mike for making the yummy pork and large portions, at a reasonable price! You guys create a friendly mom and pop atmosphere, and after all the hours I imagine you guys work, it's nice to always get a genuine smile when we walk through the door. Service was decent--didn't stand out in either direction. I think I'd come back to give something else a try, but it would be without my husband since he was not a fan.

While vacationing in SLC, we were looking for a local sandwich shop near us for lunch. Thanks to…read moreYelp, we ended up at Knickerbockers Deli in South Jordan. Finding the place was the hardest part as we drove around the building nearly twice before we realized the deli must be accessed from inside. Once inside, we loved the natural light pouring in and the cleanliness and openness of the deli. We took a few minutes to go through the menu as they have a lot to offer- many standard and specialty sandwiches, soups, salads, burgers and more. The lady helping us at the counter was patient and amazing, helping us to customize our order with a smile the entire time. We each ordered a different sandwich- an italian sub, a cheesesteak, a hot ham and swiss and an El Cubano. We ordered combos complete with deli chips (bagged but yummy) and a fountain drink (Coke products!) Everybody enjoyed their sandwiches. The only minor complaint during the meal is the Italian Sub had too much bread, or could have used more meat to complement the bread. If Knickerbockers ever wanted to place a location in the Phoenix Metro area we'd love to have them!
