I saw they did private tours so I booked it with me and the family we were traveling with. It ended up being a GREAT experience and we had Nigel as our guide. So, we were pleasantly surprised to not only find that they were open but also had an online reservation system to support social distancing. Don't get me wrong the Rocks estate is cool but the intimacy, and the nestled "in the woods" feel of this place makes it way better! Go inside the old barn for some hot apple cider, grab a saw and a tree cart and off thru the woods you go into one of their many fields of perfectly trimmed and shaped Cnristmas trees. What sets this place apart is the atmosphere. A couple of mountian goats in a large pen which you can feed. A nice fire with benches to warm you up and sticks you can toast marshmallows with. Also they have a blacksmith shop next to their barn which had a gentleman hammering away making all sorts of cool stuff. So there is plenty to keep the young ones occupied if you have them. Oh and they have an awesome selection of Christmas wreaths and other decorations which they make on site. It's just a really nice place to go and get your tree and is large enough without feeling like you are on a plantation of Christmas trees. It gets me into the Christmas spirit instantly every time.
