Happened…read moreto have my drone with me on the trip and since it had been acting up (wobbling during flight a little, camera not balanced well) I decided to see if the folks at the DJI store could help me out. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They diagnosed the problem on my Mavic Pro and got me squared away. Matt answered so many of my questions and showed me several "tricks" for flying and shooting with my drone. I thought I already knew a lot but he taught me a lot more. He was also extremely helpful in giving me a good idea of what my next drone should be, and rather than up selling me on a 10k+ Inspire setup, he guided me in the direction of the much more manageable Phantom series. I ended up picking up a few accessories and a few sets of props since my original props were damaged. If I lived in NY, I'd certainly stop by often! Great store.

    Absolutely terrible experience with DJI Fifth Avenue (Camrise) in NYC. They sell drones online but…read morecompletely fail when it comes to supporting their customers afterward. If you don't physically bring your drone into their store for inspection, they refuse to honor any kind of warranty. That's completely unreasonable--especially for customers who purchased online and don't even live anywhere near New York City. To make matters worse, the manager was extremely rude and dismissive when I tried to get help. Instead of offering any kind of solution, they acted like it was my problem and showed no interest in resolving the issue. The drone has never been flown amd they can verify by checking the DJI logs. They were unwilling to help with this matter. If anyone knows, drones are very expensive, especially DJI's. It gives me very little confidence in this store that they won't back their products by offering reasonable solutions for the majority of their customers. There are zero accommodations, no alternative solutions, and no effort to help remote customers. It feels like once they have your money, they're done with you unless you can show up in person. For a company representing a major brand like DJI, this level of customer service is unacceptable.

I was dealing with a serious issue--my CPU was overheating to the point where I couldn't even play my games. I had already contacted ASUS, and they told me I would need to send my computer in for repair, which would have left me without it for weeks. I also visited several Best Buy locations, but unfortunately, no one was able to help me solve the problem. When I came to B&H, I immediately noticed something different about the staff. They're not just employees--they're true technology enthusiasts who genuinely love what they do. While I was browsing, Ron approached me and asked if I needed help. I explained my situation, and from that moment on, everything changed. Ron really listened to me. He didn't rush me or treat me like just another customer--he took the time to fully understand the issue. Using his own knowledge and expertise, he walked me through the problem step by step, giving me his full attention the entire time. What stood out the most was how relatable and genuine he was--it felt like I was talking to a real person who actually cared, not just someone doing their job. After following his guidance, I went home and turned on my computer--and it was running perfectly. I can't even describe how relieved and happy I felt. It honestly meant a lot to me that someone took the time to help like that. On top of that, the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating on my way out, which just added to the overall experience. Because of this, I'll definitely be coming back to B&H for all of my technology needs. Huge thank you to Ron and the entire team.
