The young man working the food truck provided service that honestly rivaled what you'd expect at a full-service restaurant. He was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. The setting is another bonus. The food truck is tucked behind a brewery, making it the perfect place to grab a drink, relax, and enjoy a delicious meal in a quiet, laid-back atmosphere. Out of all the places we tried during our trip, this was some of the simplest food--but also some of the most flavorful. It proves that you don't need a huge menu to make memorable food. It was on the salty side, but the meat was a good cut, not fatty at all. Mac salad was perfect. The chicken and tuna my friends had was good as well. The loco moco was a little disappointing. The gravy was lacking in flavor and the patty was overdone. We've all been fortunate to live on or visit O'ahu and Hawai'i island many times, so our expectations are high! That being said... would I go back? Absolutely. The people were kind and happy to make suggestions. The food truck was clean and well-kept.
