For the past year myself and my family have been eating at wowburger regularly, at least once a week. It's food has been average and the atmosphere always bearable, but the main attraction was the convieniece of being able to quickly grab a burger when there's nothing at home in the fridge. On several occasions they have messed up the order which would be my first problem. Although this was incredibly irritating I never saw too much of a reason to complain as I know myself for several years working at McDonald's. However today as I got of my bus outside and went in to order I encountered a problem that was pushing the line from irritating to infuriating. I had left my wallet at home and only had 7 euro. Quickly scanning the menu I realized it would make more sense for me buy a kids meal than just a normal burger as it the kids meal would come with a small drink and fries aswell. Now never in my time at McDonald's has there ever been an age cap on whoever wants to buy a happy meal. I have never asked someone for id to prove there age, but yet as I placed this order at wowburger to a blonde women (about 5'6 with a fake blonde hair) that claims her name is teressa she looked at me awe struck. She then proceeded to ramble on that since I am not a kid I shouldn't be able to buy something that is on there menu. What good financially this is doing to wowburger I don't know. "The customer is always right" was how the saying went at macdonalds and it was by that motto that we live and breathed, yet of course at a ultra hipster metropolitan rip off five guys establishment such as wowburger I'm not all that suprised at the levels of entitlement that the employees have.
