It truly helps the community find their clothing needs with such a popular, reputable brand like Uniqlo. Majority of us would either go the Valley Fair or Great Mall location, so this is a time saver and easier commute for the community. The Uniqlo team had an awesome fun grand opening weekend from Friday - Sunday. I went to the Friday and Sunday openings, and it was professional, fun, and well managed. I loved how the management partnered with a local groups for a Taiko performance and Ikuka baker from Los Altos for catering. The free merchandise was great from Japanese candies, tote bags, and Uniqlo knot bag. The store is well stocked with the latest collabs of one piece, mofusand, and more. The staff are very friendly and interactive with their customers. I can't wait to return to this Uniqlo!

Discount Located at…read morethe former OfficeMax and (seasonally) Spirit, in-between the Home Depot & Target at The Plant Shopping Center. For those who've never been, dd's is like a ghetto version of TJ Maxx, with deeply discounted (hence "dd") discontinued and seasonal merchandise. Current hours (8/1/25): Friday: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM Sunday: 9:30 AM - 9:30 PM The Good: *Discounted clothes and shoes *Small selection of toys *Kitchen stuff *Small selection of food and drinks *Prices seem very reasonable from what I could tell. The Meh: *Currently only open three days a week, per the website. I'm sure this will change as they're still in a soft opening mode. *Not the biggest store The Ugly: *The Plant is not the safest place with lots of low-lifes and crackheads milling about. Basically, lock your car and make sure no valuables are in sight. Conclusion: Interesting place to check out occasionally, as the stock is always changing.

It's honestly nice that this dd's opened up. Ever since the Toys "R" Us went out of business like…read moreeight years ago, that whole area has been a ghost town, and the homeless population really started to take over. I have to say, it's a nice change of pace. Lately, I've started popping in here before I hit up Target, and I've found some surprising stuff. I actually found a doorknob here that Home Depot had for like 3X, and a new hose for the house. My pre-teen daughter has even come around on the clothes, which is a miracle in itself, and she's super excited about the beauty section. My only complaint is that I found a new shirt here for the exact same price as a used one at the thrift store, which felt like a complete foul on my part! But other than that, it's a solid place. They have tons of clothes and a good selection of household items. I hope they stay because they seem new and busy right now, so fingers crossed!

I came in right before closing (had no idea they closed early that night) and ended up having three separate orders that needed to be sorted out. It was way more complicated than I expected, and I kept apologizing but Emanuel never once made me feel like a burden. He was incredibly patient, kind, and calm the entire time. He stayed fully present, walked me through everything, and reassured me without any frustration, even though it was a Friday night and they were trying to close up. What could have been a stressful situation felt easy because of how he handled it. That level of care and professionalism is rare, and it really stuck with me. I'm so grateful for the extra time and kindness Emanuel showed to me, it made a big difference. Thank you for going above and beyond. It did not go unnoticed.
