Average Subway really…read more Pros: Parking is okay, place is usually clean. Cons: Customer service is a bit low. No one greets you, they all give you a blank stare or seem to rush you just a little when ordering. Always seem put out when you order, as if you are wasting their time. I greatly dislike their treatment of first time customers. I've witnessed this at several Subway locations. I was never a big fast food type person, but after getting married and having two kids, that changes for most families in this consumer run world we live in. My first time there, I was unfamiliar with the process. Some could argue that it is self explanatory. However, if you are socially awkward at all, this can make ordering at Subway very unpleasant. They do not show signs of patients with these types of people and offer no suggestions in a any way. The biggest example, was with my father who had never been to this particular place and also didn't know the routine. I witnessed him treated with the very same blank stares, impatient and generally annoyed customer service. Also, I am not sure with other locations, but if you see a 'new' or featured item on an advertisement, do not expect them to be willing to make it without making it very obvious that they have no clue what it is or seem to care what it is. If it is not a long time classic menu item or associated with base button pushing, they draw blanks.

First thing I noticed was the amazingly cute decor and interior. There's a ton of introspective quotes that really show the character of this place! I especially appreciate how they intertwine faith with the decor - super ingenious. The store is actually a lot bigger than it looks on the outside. It's kind of cottage-like with a drive-thru area on the side. If you walk past the dining area, there's a hallway that leads to a very cute room with more tables and chairs. I think a lot of groups rent out the space for parties and events, which is really nice! The have a pretty diverse menu of drinks - espresso, tea, latte, coffee, etc. They also serve different baked items, bagels, muffins, sandwiches, and salads. I was looking forward to getting a sweet item, but they only have it occasionally. I tried the caramel latte and an apple cinnamon muffin. The latte was pretty good, but not the best flavor wise. The taste could have been stronger and there could have been more caramel flavor, but overall it was not bad. It was a nice drink to have in the early morning. The muffin was tasty. Not sure if it was made in house, but after they heated it up for me - it was really good! Could taste the apple and cinnamon; it wasn't too sweet nor was it dry. tl;dr - Really wanted to try the salads or sandwiches, but never got a chance to. Definitely will be back when I'm in the area! Their flavored tea drinks seem to be quite popular, and the food items sound intriguing and priced at an affordable price.

Most of the waitresses are in their early 20's, probably from nearby college, WT. All of them were nice and polite, which give the hometown feel to your meal. Cons: Parking, even though it is not a dine-in, can be hard to come by. The recent Portales street changes as well as some ground work going on as of April, 2015 leaves you to store side, which is not recommended as this store is on a curve which rarely sees drivers obey the posted speed. Or the side, which makes it still difficult to see and the changes to the side street means it is a one way, which leaves you with that curvy blind spot as your only exit. I cannot comment on delivery as I never use that, only pick up. Customer service is typically really good. there is a single individual who seems very nihilistic about all things in life, which can make things awkward.
