The server I had was really nice and attentive as he came and checked in and filled my water up. Some servers just leave you alone and I just at and answered my questions on some of the prices like lobster and the duck. Here is what I ordered: 1. BBQ Roasted duck 2. Surf and Turf 3. Shrimp Stir Fry Now of course I did not eat everything and took some food to go. But I did enjoy most of the food. I would definitely get the surf and turf again as the steak was cooked perfect and lobster tail was awesome. The BBQ duck was alright, they gave me the tortilla wraps, but expecting more of the bread which is alright. I ordered the shrimp vegetable stir fry as well and that was good too and I needed some vegetables. Atmosphere was cool, there was no Japanese steak chefs that day, but I am sure they come out during the weekend. I probably take my wife here to eat next time.

While I enjoy spicy food, I found the dish overly spicy to the point that it was hard to fully enjoy, though the sauce itself had a good flavor. The sushi was solid, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The facility was also clean and well-kept, which was a plus. Overall, while Tien has some good qualities, I believe the coast has better options for Asian cuisine, and I'd likely choose one of those over Tien in the future.

FLAME Prime rib is delicious, if you get a piece that's too red you can ask him to put it on the grill real quick. Rib eyes were delicious, baked sweet potatoes were good and they had toppings to load your baked potatoes up. COMFORT Fried chicken wings & mashed potatoes and gravy were good as well. SEAFOOD Fried catfish was phenomenal, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Tartar sauce was good as well. I was going to try the crab tots but they smelled funny and the shrimp cocktail still had poop in them so I refused to eat it. WOK They have pre made beef and broccoli done but you can also design your own plate & pick all the toppings you want. I did beef, broccoli, bell peppers & onions and it was good. They also have a dessert & salad bar that has an array of options plus soup and pies and ice cream with warm chocolate & Carmel sauce. Place was also clean, service was nice and organized and the casino is smoke free. Parking is free as well. We can't wait to come back, they also hive first responders discount which with take off about $10 off of the whole total price.

I came across Dian Xin and it felt like a tiny oasis from the heat, humidity and bustle of the French Quarter. I ordered a variety of dishes to try and everything was great. The standout for me was the cucumber salad. Fresh, cool, zesty, spicy and crunchy - just what I needed to beat the heat. Loved the Hong Kong wonton soup as well as the tiny pan fried bao. I'll be back to try the soup dumplings and spicy wontons next time! Service was quick and pleasant and the food came out fresh and steaming. Give it a try for something a little off the beaten path in the Quarter!

When the bill arrived, I noticed I had been charged extra for the broccoli and also charged for shrimp--even though shrimp was already the protein included in the menu item I ordered. I politely questioned the charge, and the explanation I received didn't seem to match what was stated on the menu. I then asked to speak with a manager so the issue could be addressed. After quite a bit of discussion in the kitchen, the server returned, but instead of a manager coming out, I was given essentially the same explanation we had already discussed. I calmly explained why the charges didn't make sense and expressed that I was unhappy with how the situation was being handled. Unfortunately, there seemed to be little interest in resolving the concern or retaining my business. The food is fine, but my advice is to carefully review your bill before paying. Based on my experience, management does not appear particularly concerned when customers raise billing issues.

The location is fun and creative (food arriving by dumbwaiter never gets old), but the lack of tables makes it tricky if you're planning on more than a quick bite. The menu itself is wickedly tempting, and the flavors are there--the wings especially were excellent. Easily some of the best chicken I've had in the city. My only real issue was the salt. And not the soy sauce or seasoning kind you'd expect with dim sum--just straightforward table salt. We ordered four dishes, and I was glad I saved the wings for last since they were the least salty. By the time I circled back through the other plates, all I could taste was salt, which sadly masked what were otherwise really well-balanced, flavorful dishes (the Dan Dan dumplings in particular had great flavor underneath it all). Overall: clever concept, fun atmosphere, tasty food--but dialing back the salt would take it from good to outstanding. Solid 3/5.
