A magical place…read more Every time my friends and I are up the smiling starts. Since I'm a chef I frolic through all the crops and can even pick my own veggies on the cheap. And the main house has a 8 burner gas range, double oven and all the equipment you need. Every year I go up for a farm to table dinner to help out the farm so look for it every September. Staff is friendly, the interns and farm maneger will answer all your questions about the produce they're growing. Make it your base camp for bike rides up and down the beautiful coast on highway 1. My partner and I came here to unwind, and we left feeling deeply nourished, inspired, and recharged. We had some profound creative breakthroughs during our stay, and were finally able to get the kind of rest our bodies and minds were craving. Our dogs were in absolute heaven too, especially swimming in the river nearby! But what made this place truly unforgettable was the people. The hosts are warm, genuine, and full of heart. You can feel how much love and intention has been poured into this land and community. It felt like we were welcomed into a sacred little sanctuary, and we're already dreaming of our next visit. We decide to try it out. We get there and we are the only customers. Not sure if there is any seating in the inside but we grabbed a table outside to enjoy the views. A guy came out and gave us the tasting menu which is three pre chosen wines for $20. We do the tasting and was incredibly underwhelming. They poured the wine and that was it. No education or description provided. We did the tastings and left. At the end of the day, it was a bit of a waste of time.

The garden is 47 acres, but it feels a lot larger. There are various trails to the ocean as well as a creek with lots of shade and greenery. Containing a maze of paths and vibrant colors, this place brought me a lot of balance and Zen as I walked around and explored. The dahlia garden was spectacular; it was filled with many different colors, shapes and sizes of dahlias. I think the technical name for some of the styles were cactus, ball, and pom pom. There aren't a lot dahlia gardens around so for people that are really into flowers it's worth trekking up here. I liked the Heather garden as well, I don't think I've ever seen one. Rose gardens are usually my favorite but the one here was more minimal and catered to being more rustic rather than manicured. I think the Dahlia garden was the most impressive part.
