Wow - this resort is gorgeous!…read more I spent the weekend on property at the Greater Zion Cup PPA Tour pickleball tournament and also spent some time in the resort lobby + restaurants. Service was mostly attentive and we were pleased with the transportation situation / golf cart rides to and from the courts and the main area. We did not stay on property but will certainly consider doing so in the future. It sounds like they are in the process of expanding and adding even more amenities in the future. Looking forward to returning!

The staff was so attentive and courteous. From the moment I walked in, Rayder was so accommodating and pleasant. We had a wonderful conversation. Then, Sadie, the host at Latitude, made an effort to remember every guest's name. She was the highlight of our morning. Maxwell at Basalt was the most charming waiter who knew everything about the menu. He was so personable and topped off our night with recommendations and a touch of class. Don't get me started on the soft beds and pillows. AMAZING. They are so comfortable. I am mad I didn't take a peek at the manufacturer. Unforgettable. I loved the gym with a plethora of equipment offerings. It was a bit chilly the week we came, so we opted not to golf. We will be back. I highly recommend it here. So glad it's an option.

It's quite pricey but worth it, and splitting it 4 ways made it cheaper than your normal Marriott or Hilton. I'd also say the amenities are similar to that of 5 star hotels we've stayed. Heated pool, garage parking, e bike rentals, on-site ice cream and bistro, small store, private jacuzzi and an awesome play room upstairs. Kids can sign up for craft classes too. Oh and there's a cool gym, my sis went to a class and said it was cool. I have been on a soda kick, and it's 114, so carried the soda jug. (Photo here) Pools are legit. Lazy River is pretty big for a place this size. Slide is awesome, even for this 35 year old. They aren't too strict on the slide rules, so kids can go together if scared or too little, and even with floaties! Kids loved this place. Proximity to coffee, grocery, gas, etc is amazing. Very convenient and has an awesome red rock backdrop. Can't wait to come back!

The reason for my updated review is to let you know what to expect since Amira changed from a…read morestaffed resort to strictly vacation rentals. We were here 1 1/2 years ago when it was a staffed resort. Now, it's a vacation rental with each unit owned by investors but managed by Red Rock Vacation Rentals. The problem is, this place wasn't designed to be vacation rental friendly. I own one in Sedona so I know what a vacation rental should offer its guests. Amira is in a residential neighborhood with no restaurants, bars or grocery stores. There are no food options on property so you will have to go out to get food. As a side note, there also weren't any food options when we stayed here before. That's just the way it is. The rooms are large and spacious -- the biggest fault is they are lacking kitchens. Every vacation rental I've ever stayed in has had a kitchen, even if only a basic one. There is a small refrigerator, older microwave and hot kettle in each room along with a K-Cup coffee maker. No cooktop, no large fridge and no place to prepare food. Prior to selling these as vacation rentals, I really wish they would have added small kitchenettes and a place outside to BBQ. My guess it was probably sold "as is" due to poor occupancy. The last time we were here was in September 2018 and there was hardly anyone here. OK, here are some specifics: PROS It's Quiet - There are about 50 rooms and there are only about 5 are occupied this week as far as I can tell. I don't know if it is because of COVID or just the time of the year, but it's a ghost town. I like that part but for some it could be considered a con. If you like privacy, you'll get it here. No screaming kids at the adults only pool either. Yay! Amira offers two large pools (one adult, one kid-friendly) and a hot tub - Nice pool facilities but wish there were more covered areas with fans as it was 107 here today. Clean Rooms and Grounds - With the exception of the pool water, both the grounds and rooms are very clean. I was shocked at how clean the room was. Nice job housekeeping! Pool had lots of greasy film and bugs floating on it with no skimmer to clean it myself. The 1-bedroom has a large outdoor patio/deck which plenty of room to relax. Pets are Welcome - It's alway nice to bring our dog with us. Make sure you ask for a pet friendly unit. Pet fee not bad. There is a nice park at the bottom of the hill (5 minute drive) where you can walk your pup. Nice Gym and Guest Laundry Area CONS The biggest drawback -- Not a vacation rental friendly place. No luggage carts, no kitchen or cooking area in the room and no BBQ area outside. The room has a small basic fridge and an old microwave. There are no instructions in the room for accessing WiFi. No food or beverage options on site or nearby. Just a few staff members wondering around during the day. Pool water dirty and pool chairs were falling apart and hard to operate. Pool towels in the room are horrible and don't cover the chairs. Had to buy some in town because I hate bad pool towels. Not in a Commercial Location - You'll need to drive to town for grocery shopping, food and beverage. It's about 15 minutes. BAD BED!!!! The bed mattress is really saggy on the sides and extremely uncomfortable. This place does not have heavenly beds, that's for sure. If your primary requirement is a good bed, I'd skip this place. No daily housekeeping option. No robes (we brought our own tho). Spa is closed but assuming its due to COVID. In short, they are promoting this as a vacation rental property when it isn't equipped to be one. Since our last visit, I've noticed the human/service touch is gone. Being here is almost like being in the twilight zone. :( Adding small kitchens in the rooms, a BBQ area and some nice pool furniture/towels would help to bring more life to this place. I wouldn't buy one of these units as an investment until this was done.

This was my family's first time ever visiting Utah, and from the moment we walked through the doors, we were completely blown away. Jason and Denae greeted us so warmly and genuinely--it instantly felt like we were being welcomed by family. We didn't just feel like guests; we felt like we truly mattered. To say this trip exceeded our expectations would be a huge understatement. Every detail was thoughtful, and the resort itself is absolutely breathtaking--unlike anywhere we've ever stayed before. I also have to give a special thank-you to Nicole, who was incredibly kind and helpful, taking the time to share amazing things to do and see in Utah. This trip was, without question, the best birthday I have ever had, and it created memories my family and I will cherish forever. I highly recommend this resort to anyone and everyone looking for an exceptional, welcoming, and truly special getaway.

We already had Club Wyndham, enough points and vacations we can afford and use. Walking out after we told them about a property we're working on in Black Hills to rent out. They amp up their sales, drag us back, tell us they have an amazing rental business for us where we can rent out our SD rental (complete lie come to find out later) & we can rent out our worldmark pts to pay for all of our costs and fees. We never intended on using the points there. They said use it as a rental business!! But don't tell the finance guy because they aren't supposed to sell it that way but they do it and they have corporate events that are renting from their Vacation Share and the rental business is a money maker. We fell for it as blind and dead and in a vacation spirit where our brains are on slow motion or something. All lies trying to get the sale. Next vacation in FL. Sales tells us there's mistakes with the Worldmark we bought in UT and the rental business will not work as it shd wrong and he needs to fix it! The pymt and amts are never talked about. They are in the docs you initial later quickly with another guy. We get told the small increase in fees monthly yada yada. Again they push the non-existent rental business and pressure like crazy. We got ourselves so deep w this rental nonsense. When I called to actually list the SD property I'm told that can't happen. You can rent the points but I did and they don't rent, there's a thousand others trying to do the same thing. We didn't buy under using vacation in Worldmark. They sold us 100% onnusing it as a rental business. Be aware and smarter and more alert than we were. A and B Foss

Beautifully designed, thoughtfully maintained, and surprisingly affordable for the level of amenities. When you first pull in, you're greeted by a water feature and a large, gorgeous building that sets the tone. Inside is check-in (staff were super friendly and accommodating), as well as a mercantile open to both guests and locals. They serve coffee, have snacks, t-shirts, and small essentials -- a great little touch. Walk through that main building and you enter the guest community space, which is outstanding. There's a pool table, piano, movie-watching area, card tables, and even a huge kitchen for gatherings. In the back, there's a room with air hockey, ping pong, and pinball. The building also houses the laundry room, plus multiple guest bathrooms. Step outside and you'll find a barbecue and outdoor seating area for entertaining. The pool complex is resort-level. A zero-entry pool with a fountain cascading from the center, a very large (kidney-shaped) hot tub that's shaded in the afternoon, plenty of seating, and an outdoor shower and bathroom for convenience. The whole area is beautifully fenced and landscaped. Towels are even provided. The park itself has around 150 sites -- spacious, landscaped, and well thought-out. Some newer sections are still being finished, but what's completed shows the level of detail: plants, flowers, and green grass between sites. It feels open and inviting, not crammed in like so many other RV parks. Down at the lower end of the park is a gem -- a pond with a bridge, market lights, catch-and-release fishing, paddle boats, a kayak, and a walking path around it. At night, with the lights reflecting off the water, it's stunning. There's even a small dog park nearby for your pup to stretch out. Between the design, amenities, and the atmosphere, this resort is in a class of its own. We've stayed at plenty of "resorts" that charged more but offered half as much. This place is the real deal, and we loved every minute of it. We'll absolutely be back.
