Service was mostly attentive and we were pleased with the transportation situation / golf cart rides to and from the courts and the main area. We did not stay on property but will certainly consider doing so in the future. It sounds like they are in the process of expanding and adding even more amenities in the future. They asked me how I liked Sagestone Spa, and cheerily said, "Good news, we have an amazing spa with a lot of the same staff." I said, "It's not the same. It's not the same at all." I hated Black Desert. I hate what they're doing to Ivins. It's vulgar and crass and not at all the reason I have been going out to the desert for a visit for the past 27 years. Black Desert is the place for golf bros, not for people like me. It's just like Palm Springs now. They had a singer at a bar in the lobby and the Golf Bro swagger is not for me. They're absolutely going to ruin Red Mountain, too. They're going to litter up Snow Canyon. I like the views best at Red Mountain. I have visited that spot many times over the past 27 years. I loved how it was walkable to the entrance of Snow Canyon and had unobstructed views of the red sand cliffs and a lava field with a trail. It was so peaceful sitting in my room with the door open, overlooking the lava field. Or lying in a hammock while watching the sunset colors on the red cliffs, or the moonrise, or a storm roll in. Losing my peaceful place to this overblown and overpriced "perfection is not for me." So, ultimately, they lost a customer. Also, it's the desert, and I just don't see how golf in the desert is sustainable with there already being a ton of golf. Everyone else can enjoy this, but I'm going to cry over the peace that was. 1 star because the staff were really nice and listened to me being upset about Red Mountain Resort being destroyed by the company they work for. But only 1 star because none of them have a deep understanding of what I loved about Red Mountain Resort with its funky older buildings, peace, and quiet. I'm in the minority but I stand by how I feel.

Definitely not intentional as they deserve every bit of praise. We've been coming here for about eight years and we absolutely love it. The suites feel like your own condo. Private entrances and garage, patio, fireplace, jetted tub, and completely unobstructed views of Snow Canyons cliffs. The property is a private, gated club with a guard who checks you in during your stay. Amenities include a pool, hot tub, spa, gym, yoga, pilates, onsite dining, kitchenette, tennis, pickleball, volleyball, basketball courts, 18-hole golf course, and beautiful walking paths. The entire neighborhood is gorgeous and is impeccably maintained. It's located in Ivins, about eight miles from downtown St. George and just five miles from Snow Canyon State Park. There's also a great grocery store named Harmon's about two miles away, perfect for stocking your fridge. With just over 60 rooms, the resort feels more like a boutique retreat than a commercial hotel. Every visit inspires me to stay off my phone and that's always a good thing. I have been hearing about this resort for a few years now from my bestie who has been four-five…read moretimes. We finally got the stars and schedules aligned to visit June, 2025. Actually, there are a group of about seven of us, because Movara builds strength AND friendships. We had a villa, which is very, very nice inside and tastefully decorated. Every day, numerous activities are scheduled from cooking demos, lectures, Zumba, but the highlight of all is definitely the hikes. Being so close to the National Park and red rocks is an asset to the overall program. There is an 'assessment hike' done on day one to place you in an appropriate hike group the rest of the days you are there. The hikes are run from 645-845a daily. All other classes and coaches are thoughtfully planned and I am very grateful that they alternate a hike/stretching/lecture/cardio/strength/pool aerobics (I've heard firsthand they used to do cardio/cardio/cardio plus have other strenuous activities later in the day in the heat & sun). Mid-week, I reweighed myself and was down two pounds. With this info, I knew where I stood and my mission is to be down a few more by checkout! I appreciate the overall mission at Movara and I think I would return again. PS the food program is wonderful, allots about 1200 cals per day, across the board, and all recipes are provided upon request!

Beautifully designed, thoughtfully maintained, and surprisingly affordable for the level of amenities. When you first pull in, you're greeted by a water feature and a large, gorgeous building that sets the tone. Inside is check-in (staff were super friendly and accommodating), as well as a mercantile open to both guests and locals. They serve coffee, have snacks, t-shirts, and small essentials -- a great little touch. Walk through that main building and you enter the guest community space, which is outstanding. There's a pool table, piano, movie-watching area, card tables, and even a huge kitchen for gatherings. In the back, there's a room with air hockey, ping pong, and pinball. The building also houses the laundry room, plus multiple guest bathrooms. Step outside and you'll find a barbecue and outdoor seating area for entertaining. The pool complex is resort-level. A zero-entry pool with a fountain cascading from the center, a very large (kidney-shaped) hot tub that's shaded in the afternoon, plenty of seating, and an outdoor shower and bathroom for convenience. The whole area is beautifully fenced and landscaped. Towels are even provided. The park itself has around 150 sites -- spacious, landscaped, and well thought-out. Some newer sections are still being finished, but what's completed shows the level of detail: plants, flowers, and green grass between sites. It feels open and inviting, not crammed in like so many other RV parks. Down at the lower end of the park is a gem -- a pond with a bridge, market lights, catch-and-release fishing, paddle boats, a kayak, and a walking path around it. At night, with the lights reflecting off the water, it's stunning. There's even a small dog park nearby for your pup to stretch out. Between the design, amenities, and the atmosphere, this resort is in a class of its own. We've stayed at plenty of "resorts" that charged more but offered half as much. This place is the real deal, and we loved every minute of it. We'll absolutely be back.

First, communication and customer service from TCMI is minimal. Again, part of its appeal for some, I'm sure. You can really stay here and feel pretty alone and unbothered. That said, if you like customer service and quick answers, this place may not be for you. They clearly state if there is a non-life threatening problem in the evening, save it for the next morning. When you come in from St. George you'll find a few signs that say Kayenta. Turn down that main road and you'll see a small orange sign on the left that says Crescent Moon Inn with an arrow. You'll see the rooms, but the road basically curves behind the property which can make it a little hard to find your room. But, the rooms are clearly labeled on the doors once you park and walk around front. Again, I think the subtlety of this place might appeal to a specific traveler. Check-in directions are clearly outlined in the email. There will be no one here to meet you. Again, for some people I think this would be ideal. I kind of wish there was someone around, though, just in case we had questions. For example, we got a little lost finding the Inn and I called to get help, but no one answered. I left a voice mail, but my call was never returned. We stayed in the Morning Star Suit. It was very clean, sparsely furnished, but nice. It has a spacious condo-feel. The kitchen has a full-size fridge, electric stove, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker (and coffee/ filters/ individual cream). The kitchen has basic kitchen essentials for cooking, but is lacking salt and pepper, so bring that if you want to cook! We went down the road to Harmon's to pick up a few things. It's only about 5 miles. The living room has a three seat sofa but it is actually an outdoor type piece of furniture and not super comfortable if you want to lounge. The TV works well and they offer Roku which you can use to login to any streaming services you have. They also have Dish TV channels. Wifi password is provided. There are two patios, one that looks over the road and one that looks towards the mountains/lake. Both seem to have beautiful views but the mosquitoes were so bad we, sadly, couldn't enjoy them. Overall, it's a really nice space that I think could be really special. Because of our tight schedule we couldn't visit the artist village down the road, but it is within walking distance if it's not too hot. Even though the lack of communication is a negative for me, I am still giving a positive review because it's pretty clear from the beginning that this is their style and I knew what I was getting into.

We stayed in one of the downstairs units...2 rooms (bedroom/bath and sitting room with a full kitchen!) Each unit also includes a private patio. But as lovely as the rooms were...the VIEW was what was magical! We spent the mornings with coffee on the patio as long as we could (it was summer and HOT during the day!) The only thing missing was a small table/eating area. With a full kitchen offered, there should also be a place to eat that isn't on the couch using the coffee table!

Plus the road near the inn is loud, even late at night big trucks go by.
