Pretty good bar food! My fish was hot and crispy with a nice tartar sauce side. Not of fan of skinny fries, but they were good. His burger was good too! read more

World’s End Brewing - Fish and chips! - Brewpubs Near Me - Cañon City, Colorado

World's End moved across the street in the old Neon Bottle/Defiance Nightclub spot. The owners have been fixing it up and now they have more seating and they have added pool tables, an air hockey table, skee-ball and some arcades. They bill it as a family fun center. We have been twice since they move and I don't know, the space is dreary, dark and very spread out (over three rooms). They haven't moved all their taps over so their beer menu is limited, but that is fine except they expect you to go to the bar to see the beer menu - there isn't a paper list or QR code at the table - which I find annoying. Also, If I want to pick up my beer and walk a few steps to play skee-ball this seems to throw the wait staff off. So I guess they expect us to eat, pay and THEN play - whatever - just run a card and let me roam! Oh and bring dollars and change because they don't have a change machine (and the games have not been converted for credit cards) and the one time we saw a couple ask the waitress to make change her attitude told me not to ever do that again. Yikes. Food is super basic. We ordered pretzels and they were literally super pretzels you can get at the supermarket that were barely nuked to make them sort of warm (for almost $9). We stopped going to eat here a few years back when they served me a gray hot dog - so the food is not for me. Beer is very fruity and some are good. They do have a wide variety of domestics and imports. I really wanted to love this place and I am guessing many will, but for me it is dark, food is basic and the new games are nice, but I wish they were easier to get change and just wander and play. read more

Great outdoor seating, food is good! Tried their Rocky mountain oysters and surprisingly not bad. (I personally like it with ketchup) service was awesome, patient and friendly!! read more

Very Disappointed in the food, restaurant prices with fast food flavor. I post a picture to show what was served. Here is a short description of their "Ruben" sandwich. Made with so called Sourdough bread (No Marbled Rye) but more like a wonder bread cheese sandwich, It was so soggy the bread turned to mush, and could have been rolled into a little ball the size of a dime. I could not specifically identify anything else other than some kind of meat, some kind of cheese, and some kind of dressing, but nothing to give it any kind of flavor that resembled a Ruben sandwich. We did complain, but found the staff to be unresponsive and rude. read more

Nice folks and really good beer. They even canned me some to talk home! Great find.

We are just passing through Canon City. Worlds End Brewing had a great drink menu selection and delicious fish and chips! Service was good and there are games if you want to stop with the family. read more

The beer was really good my partner said. He ordered the Octoberfest and the Revelation IPA. We started with the fried pickles. They were delicious with the blackened ranch dressing. My partner enjoyed the Pueblo Burger with onion rings. I had the chicken wings with split between dry rubbed with old bay and brown sugar bourbon. The service was spot on with a friendly and knowledgeable server. We will defiantly be back. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful day. read more

We're always excited to try new breweries during our travels, but sadly this stop was pretty disappointing. The service was friendly, although we asked several times for ranch dressing for our fried pickles & fries, but it never came. Ambiance was lacking as it felt kind of dark & dingy inside. My husband and I went with a friend so we were able to get tasters of every beer on tap. I think we tried close to 15 beers; only 2 of which were decent. The glasses seemed a bit dirty and it seems like maybe their beer lines weren't clean as each beer had an off taste you typically get from dirty lines. We got some appetizers. They were just okay. Very mediocre and a tad pricey for what you get. Basket of fries was the best part. Glad we tried World's End, but if we're ever back in this area, we would not return. read more

We were apprehensive to stop here due to the Yelp and Google reviews. We stopped here for drinks only with our dog and sat on the patio. The two of us ended up splitting a flight (I think it was something like 5 for $10.75 so very reasonable in my opinion). We got the Code Blue, Frost berry (blackberry kolsch), Kings Rona on nitro, Zugspitze (German Pilsner), and Jormungandr (fruited sour). The frost berry was my favorite although it did taste a little artificial to me (almost like a blue raspberry jolly rancher?). My husband liked the Code Blue which was a blueberry wheat that came with blueberries in it but I didn't care for the taste. The rest of the beers were solid. Service - waiters were attentive and timely, no complaints here! We were seated and able to order quickly. Ambiance - can't speak to the inside but we sat outside and it was nice to people watch. read more

Seriously, guys, clean the front door!!! MY GOD!! I rarely eat at Worlds End. Not because the food is bad. It's actually pretty good. But when I walk in the front door...WITH CUSTOMERS FROM COLORADO JEEP TOURS, and you can literally scrape the grease/grime/dirt/bacteria off of the door frame, you really end up doubting why you even went in. Is the kitchen this disgusting. Have someone walk to the front door with some disinfecting wipes, or a bucket of hot soapy water, AND CLEAN IT. It's disgusting. read more

The smash burgers are outstanding. The cheese cake is to die for. And don't forget about the beers.

We were on a motorcycle trip in Cañon City and always like to walk to dinner after riding all day. This place has the perfect location for walking and hanging out on Main St. They have a great selection of beer and the menu is huge...almost too many choices. The guys got burgers and were very happy. I wanted something smaller to eat but all the appetizers were fried fried fried so I ordered a salad that was big enough for 4 of us to share. Good parking for motorcycles too. read more

World's End might be an appropriate name for this place. Imagine a world where only half the servers show up for work. Imagine a world where the in-house hefeweizen tastes so gross, I only drink half the pint. Ambiance is....lacking since there were not enough servers to open the sidewalk cafe area. Good thing cage fights were on TV above the bar read more

Anytime there is outdoor seating- the restaurant automatically gets a lot of points from me! Love the outdoor seating, love the service, the bathrooms were clean, and food very good- as well as prices super reasonable! I have a lot of allergies, and the chef accommodated these. Chesney- our waitress- was very attentive and made sure to check back periodically to ensure everything was okay. The restaurant is right on the main road in what is the rebuilt/historic area. It is a great walk- and it was not busy at all. Definitely would come here again when in Canon City. read more

Beer was pretty good. But the food is horrible. I was starving and I ordered "safe" food and it came out bad. Not just nasty but literally made me feel like it would make me sick. I ordered wings and they were not good. Never been to an establishment that could mess up wings. read more

Came here with the family while passing through Cañon City. The southwest steak salad was flavorful. The chicken panini was a favorite. My sister was a bit let down by the grilled cheese and my mom mentioned the bun of her chili dog was tough and chewy like maybe it had been microwaved. But everything else was enjoyable! Beers were good. The Fairy Dust beer was glittery?! A nice surprise. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Interesting, fun interior. read more

What a great spot. Between the food, drinks and service, I can not wait to come back. We had the appetizer sampler with the pearl onions, fried cheese curds and mozzarella sticks. All were wonderful but the the onions and curds were the true winners, along with that zesty sauce served alongside. Their Bloody Mary was to DIE for. In all seriousness, one of the best! And I have definitely had my fair share from all over! Boyfriend enjoyed his beer but couldn't remember which one he tried. Definitely one of the ales! Dog friendly patio was wonderful and so were the employees. Everyone was super friendly and even came out to give Mr. Wiggles some love and attention. Way to go guys! You rock! read more

Absolutely horrible service. Our waitress left without telling us due to a "shift change". Our food didn't arrive. Had to flag down someone to check on it. We paid. Then another waitress came up and asked if we were ready to pay. When we told her we had already paid she looked at us like we were liars!!! She went to another gal who went to the gal who took our money. There's no excuse for that kind of treatment. And they wonder why locals don't support businesses in this town. I won't be going back to this place. read more

I was mainly interested in trying the beer, but we also wanted dinner for the whole family. I ordered a flight plus a salad. My husband had fish tacos and the kids typical American fare. Honestly, I can't remember but I think they both had burgers. My husband said the fish tacos were decent. The salad was pretty typical too, not a standout. They had a great variety of beer so much so I had trouble choosing which ones to taste. The ones I did pick were good as well. My husband didn't like them as much, but I thought they were definitely above average and the flavors were creative. I always go for the sours and fruity beers so that is what I tried plus an imperial stout. One of the beers was a blueberry, which I thought was quite good. Did not care for the lighting of the place. It was very dim and the lights flickered. Gave us all a headache after a while. read more

Food was great as always but the service was terrible. We sat outside on sunday afternoon near the feont door in feont of a window. They were not busy, maybe 3 other tables. We didnt get water. Thw server took our orde, brought our food and drinks and never came back after delivering our food. The person who came with our bill- not our original server- asked if everything was okay. I said we would have liked water and another drink- did you forget about us? Instead of saying yes (which they clearly did) we were told there were two 6 top tables and people kept walking in. Just say you forgot about us and be accountable. Disappointed- we usually have decent service. read more

Super good beers. I got a flight & this was the First place I've been where I actually couldn't pick my favorite, and I go to lots of breweries! the food menu was also SUPER GOOD which is rare for a brewery!! I got wings only because I saw multiple unique flavors offered here that I haven't seen anywhere else!! I also loved the atmosphere and decoration inside , it was SO CUTE & they had patio seating which is always bonus points for me because I love sitting outside!! Definitely in my top 3 breweries!! Good service, has a lot of potential if they weren't too busy being sorta weird, or cracking lame jokes. They seem too judgey based off appearance sometimes. The bar stools are uncomfortable. The sandwich with chicken needs a bit more flavor to it. The cheesecake was solid. I don't know if I would go back or not. Inflation is a problem. read more

Came here for dinner on Easter Sunday. It was pretty much the only place open in town apart from the fast food chains and thankfully they served food. I had the blonde beer which was very drinkable and enjoyable. The non-beer drinker had their bottled Apple Cider from the next town over, Penrose and enjoyed it too. Between us we had the chilli dogs with loaded fries and the western nachos. The food isn't anything to rave about but it's good, goes well with your drinks. The nachos were huge as expected but tasty a little bit more toppings would have been good but I appreciated the layering so everything wasn't just on the top. The chilli dogs were your standard dogs but were pretty good and messy. Free stickers too. read more

this place smells like a dirty night club. It looks like a fun place from the outside but inside has zero personality and smell awful.

Ate at World's End Brewing Company last night.......so not impressed.  They weren't extremely busy at all, but we waited about 10 min before getting seated.  Then another 10 min before someone came with menus and asked what we wanted to drink and order......umm we don't even have menus or water yet. Finally got to order.  Ordered an appetizer and waited.   The people beside us got their food and they came much later than us.  We received no plates, napkins, silverware so had to go hunt them down.  Ate our appetizer read more

We stopped here for dinner after our train ride. We were lead to our table right away and had the nicest waitress, (it was 5:45 so she took our drink order quickly, so we would make Happy Hour!) Sat inside because it was raining. We ordered the Korean Spring Rolls to start. We were offered to try all 3 sauces with them, so we did. They were yummy. My husband ordered the Chili Cheese Dog "smothered in Texas chili..." he could have had more chili, as it wasn't "smothered in chili" but tasted good. I ordered the Street Tacos combo (3 tacos were cod, chicken and steak) they were good as well. The reason for the 4 star review is because my tacos were not as hot as I would have like them to be (like they waited to be served) and in the bathroom there were no paper towels. Overall, we would definitely go there again when visiting this area. read more

This was one of our first post Covid-19 restrictions dining out experiences. Two days after the restrictions were lifted. We arrived without reservations and the staff was accommodating to provide us seating outside. We ordered the BLT and the Chicken Panini sandwiches and enjoyed both but the Chicken Panini had more flavor. We order two beers and enjoyed sitting outside in the fresh air. We would recommend stopping by if you are in the area. It seems like it would be a fun place post Covid-19. If we are in the area again, we will drop in. read more

The gyro was amazing. It was loaded so fat I could barely fit my mouth around both sides to take a bite... and that's saying a lot. I've fit some pretty large things in my mouth and this one is maybe top five. I had the Tropical low and Dragon spit which were just Only missing star is because during my stay, all I could hear was the manager barking away about nonsense. One of my lowest reviews so I have a hard time posting this. We got sat down and no one came to help us for 10 minutes. We eventually had to go up to the bar to get service when then they said only our server could get us the beers. The beers were good but the lack of service here is ridiculous. We were just passing through Cañon City and thought, "let's see what their historic downtown is like..." Well, it's very nice, and you can sit and enjoy a view of it in this fantastic brewery. World's End has a large selection of beers, and every single one I tried was delicious! I'm not a fan of hoppy beers, so I don't get any of their IPAs or the like, but they have an amazing Mexican Lagers, great sours, and superb stouts. The food was good too! I do love my Buffalo wings, and theirs were cooked right, and the sauces were more than tasty. I recommend the mango habañero sauce. read more

This place was a disappointment. I ordered a simple Caesar salad with salmon and it was terrible. The salmon was a pre-frozen, reformed pattie that was chopped up and sprinkled over the top. It was dry and not good. I sent it back because I couldn't avoid the awful salmon chunks. The waitress said they would take it off our bill. I asked for a menu, intending to order something else, but then she came back and reneged on what she said and then stated the best they could do was to take 25% off for the salad I didn't even eat. At that point, we paid and left. I'm incredulous. What a classless way to handle this. This is not how you provide service. Update: the owner intervened and credited back $10 for the salad. I still don't think I would go back, but appreciate the attempt to do something meaningful after the fact. read more

I would not recommend this place to visit for food or drinks. The food is incredibly poor even for bar food and the beer is such low quality as far as taste. No one in the kitchen wears hair nets even with long hair and beards. The two bartenders we had were not our favorite as one was incredibly rude to the rest of the staff and the other was leaving work to get high. We gave it a chance for sure and tried 5 beers in hopes of finding something we enjoyed but unfortunately it was just poor place. read more
