electrician is honest and bid came within my budget. I've hired him for other things also.

I paid the electrician money to install a new panel couple of months ago . I zelle the electrician $2,000 upfront but he did not do any part of the work with one excuse or another. I still did not get the project done or the money back. read more

I had them install a EV charger in my garage . Very professional and hard worker stayed late . Great job . Highly recommended

I cannot say enough positive things about this company. Came in person to give a quote to put in an outlet for stove. Estimate remained the same start to finish. Arrived on time on the day promised. Professional and cleaned up well. I don't usually have good experiences with people who come into the home to repair things but I was pleasantly surprised with world electrical! read more

Our old school toggle switch gave out, after it functions where it would light our exterior porch light if the knob reach halfway. But it was just dead around the summer of 2022. So did this Yelp project thing needing an electrician (cuz none of us knew any) and Alex of world electrical contractors stood out, and I believe his rates are reasonable and has a little over 20 year's experience. Had him come in and he was done in less than 30 minutes. Had his proper tools and a meter; was replaced by an easier rocker/flat switch which is typically nowadays the standard when you buy a new home nowadays. It explains how old our house is. We may reach out to him as we do have some other minor issues but not major at this moment. Thanks Alex for your hard work ! read more

I was having problems with the lighting in my kitchen and my laundry room area. The light in my laundry room wasn't switching on and the lights in my kitchen were having issues with staying on. They kept flickering on and off. Alex came out today on 2/29/24. He came on time as promised. He was very friendly and professional as well. Within a few minutes was able to troubleshoot what was wrong. He was great at communicating and explaining the work that needs to be done, along with the cost. Got it all fixed within a few hours time. The cost was also extremely reasonable. He did an amazing job! The lights and fixtures actually look much better than what I had them as before. I'm completely happy with the results and I definitely would recommend them if you're looking for any electrical work for your home or business. read more

Alex was quick to respond with a reasonable estimate and his availability. He was flexible with his timing. When he showed up the installation required some extra troubleshooting (because of some bad previous work) and his extra charge for that was very fair. Alex had a great can-do attitude and I will be keeping his number if I have any other electrical work. read more

If you value your time and sanity I highly recommend going somewhere else!! Started off with quoting a price to move my breaker box and the price going up once we started the process, ended up knocking it down after I told him never mind (at the end I paid more then both prices given). I should have found someone else after the first visit when he tried to talk me out of getting permits and not calling pg&e to shut off power. The whole process was a cluster of miscommunication and disorganization.. Finally scheduled to come out and start repair so I took the day off from work to be there. He gets there and did not call pg&e to get power shut off, he scrambled trying to fix it but the process takes a bit. Finally when we did have the power shut off he came out and tore everything apart and did not have the materials to do the job (after 3 visits prior), he had to leave for hours to get materials. When he came back he had things so screwed up that he was there till 1am trying to fix it. When he left we still had no power in multiple areas. Came back the next day to try to figure it out, by the 3rd day he had everything working. Trying to schedule was a mess, he would text me the morning of and ask if he could come out. I would tell him I need more notice but would get it thrown in my face that I was hard to schedule with.. As I complained about the process and the damage to my home he keeps telling me all the issues are due to me and $$$ which the only issue was quotes given. At this point we were done and did not want them back out, there is still stuff to be done but at this point we do not want to risk being down multiple day again. read more

5 Star Excellence. Nelson was amazing! Rapid response time. On time arrival. Amazing trouble shooting skills, and tools to complete our job. We had dead outlets that spanned 3 different walls around our kitchen and into our living area. He was able to trace the issue quickly and fix where there was a break! I had 2 other electricians out prior to calling World Electric Contractors. The previous contractors could not locate the issue, much less repair. I could not be happier with his service, professionalism and care! He responded, tracked the issue and fixed our problem in the same day! Rare and amazing all at the same time! Thank you! Saved in my contacts! Forever customer for all our electrical needs! read more

We would highly recommend Alex. He is licensed and bonded as an electrician and is in the finishing stages of obtaining his general contractors license, which will enable him to provide even more services. He is reasonably priced and always squeezes us in even if we schedule last minute. He has done a total of three jobs for us now in the past two years and we have already hired him for two jobs in the future. He has replaced many outlets in our home and he will be replacing our electrical panel. He is also experienced in roofing and we will likely hire him to replace our roof as well. He is extremely knowledgeable, and explains exactly what the issue is and the mechanics behind it. I have learned about electrical since we've hired him. He prefers cash, but accepts Zelle as a form of payment, which is very convenient for us as we rarely carry cash. We will be using Alex for all of our electrical needs in the future and likely additional services as well. read more

I can't sing enough praises for Nelson. He was absolutely meticulous, prompt and hardworking. His 20 years of experience doing electrical shows in his work. He replaced all my old recessed ceiling pin lights to LED and installed 3 pendant lights and 2 floodlights. He did everything with care and even explained to me what he was doing every step of the way to make sure that I am familiar with it just in case I hire someone else to do the work later. His price is reasonable and he does honest work. I am so happy to have found him and he will certainly be my electrician for life. read more

We contacted Alex because our electricity went out and it was real hot and me and my kids were miserable, he came out and talked with me and my husband and he wasn't trying to rush the job. He actually educated us and explained to us step by step what he is doing, I felt very confident that we chose the right electrician for our problem and future services. Alex made sure before he left our home we had power. Thank you Alex read more

Alex was really helpful. Response very quickly and very respectful. I will highly recommend him.

Alex came out and was very polite. Troubleshoot circuits in my house that weren't working. He went with me to the store to get the correct parts. Installed them and now everything is working like it should. Very happy customer here and would recommend him for your electrical troubleshooting and repairs. He also came lower than his estimate price that he gave me. He changed out 2 circuit breakers and a GFCI outlet. read more

Check Out how old and messed up my old sub-panel was . Nelson replaced it with a new higher amp sub-panel and did the best work I could possibly ask for and still better price than anyone else around. He even went out of his way to put on a nice frame to make it look even better because the old one was so small and out dated. Will be calling every time for future electrical needs. Thanks again! read more

Amazing service contacted World Electrical due to my solar company messing up my electrical Alex was so kind he squeezed me in at 6AM due to another job he was working in less than 24 hrs was very honest and fair on pricing due to it being the solar companies fault they had to fix it but Alex didn't even touch anything and diagnosed the issue and was 100 percent correct on the problem. We have had over 9 electricians come in from the solar company and none of them could figure it out but Alex was so experienced he knew right away what our issue was Highly recommend and will continue to use them in the future I can't say enough good things about the customer service. read more

Alex is an excellent electrician and person. He is reliable and responsive, which are essential qualities in a contractor. I needed someone who could ground the outlets in a home I purchased. He was quick to provide me with a quote and detail my various options (in terms of the extent of the work needed). Alex went above and beyond! He truly cares about the quality of the service he provides. His son is following in his footsteps and they work so well together. I am grateful for their services! Excellent work. Cared about the project, the result, and the time. Highly recommended.

Our main fuse was not functional and half of the house didn't have any power including our well. We didn't have power for well pump either. Alex came and diagnosed the problem. Since the panel was old, it wasn't easy to find the breaker. He found it in Modesto. Found someone local to pickup the part before the store closed. Drove from Los Gatos to Modesto to pickup the part. And drove back the same day to install the part very professionally. The process took more than 8 hrs and he had a very reasonable ask for compensation. I would hire him again. read more
