World Cleaners - Inside to show uneven stitching - Laundry Services Near Me - Clinton, Maryland

I'm not sure what they use to clean the clothes with but I picked up my dress three days ago and when I took it out of the plastic it had a bad smell. I had to immediately put it in the washer machine because I couldn't wait to take it back the next day. The dress was brand new. I called the next day and told them what happened they gave me the managers number. He texted a day later saying I could bring my pants in I told him it wasn't pants and it was a dress and unfortunately due to the horrible smell I washed the dress. He told me it was nothing he could do since I had already washed it. It's crazy because who will keep a stinky ass dress and I didn't want to throw it in the trash because I had bad a decent amount for it. The text messages is below. The prices are reasonable and I think that's why they're still open. I wish I could rate this a 0! I never want to down a business. read more

World Cleaners - Texts between the manager and I. - Laundry Services Near Me - Clinton, Maryland

Claims to not have had my clothes. Arguing with the owner for 30 minutes. He's telling me with anger that my clothes aren't here. I practically had to force him to spin the machine only to find over 10 pieces of clothing. He tells me it was under the wrong phone number as if that was my fault. Why would I give you another persons number that brings their clothing here that I don't know. Clearly somebody was at fault but it wasn't his. Not only that that was possible but the fact that he was arguing with me in defense only to be wrong and never once apologized. Customer service is the worst and it plenty of more respectful people close by. Honestly, I don't think he's to fond of black people. Only for our money! Haven't been back to possibly lose thousands of dollars worth of clothing. Never again! The way he treated me was really disrespectful read more

Today I entered the facility to drop of clothing. Keep in mind that I have been using them for 20 years. In the past It was my belief that they were communicating in Spanish in derogatory manner about their clients especially the African American patrons. Unfortunately, today it was clear that they were talking about me and African Americans in general. When they suspected that I understood they began to sing a song that included the terms negro, negra, oscuro. They continued to look up to see if I was able to understand what they were saying was maintaining a level of laughter and joy as they appeared to be having fun at a customer's expense. Needless to say I walk away with my clothing and will not use this establishment again. read more

I've been going there for quite some. Even had clothes tailored that were to big for me. Service is great and I never had a problem with anything. read more

This place is the worst. They loose or damage your clothes and give you the run around about management. It's been two months and I still haven't been able to contact the owner on his cell phone or at the store. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! read more

Worst experience with a dry cleaners. I took a new pair of grommet black out curtains to be cleaned. When I picked up the curtains the blackout liner was hanging below the curtains. I did not take the curtains and requested the managers contact information. The clerk assured me the 'cleaner' would fix the problem. Finally spoke to the manager after several attempts. He was supposed to follow up and would return my call. Well 3 weeks later no return call. I finally retrieved my curtains which look awful, 2 grommets were bent, stains on the curtains, and blackout liner is hanging below the curtains. Really bad experience. Sheila W read more

I've used this cleaners for 10 years. Used to recommend them to all my associates. Never again. Stay far, far away. Twice in 6 months they've lost clothing, tried giving me SOMEONE ELSES clothes, and trying to insist they were mine! O their clothes have come back stained. Their service has degraded SIGNIFICANTLY over the past year especially. Just don't go. Uhh I could give zero stars, I would. read more

I would give them 0 stars if I could! I walked up at 7pm begging to grab my clothing and the young lady at the counter refused to acknowledge me at first, then she just shock her head no. I would understand the "No" since they close at 7pm however there was a white man inside that she was servicing so I don't understand the refusal to let me in at 7:00 on the dot! This business isn't worthy of the name World Quality Service ! In what world do they live? Wherever it is I don't want any parts of it! Bad customer service! Don't go here! read more

Terrible first experience with tailoring!! I brought in 3 pairs of work slacks that I purchased for a new job. The man who the 2 girls working the referred to as 'the tailoring guy' seemed like he knew what he was doing as he pinned my pants 1 after another. I recall being surprised at his technique: he ONLY pinned the front of the pant-legs, not the back. He did this very quickly (which made me a little uneasy), but he truly seemed like he knew what he was doing, so I brushed off my worry. Later, upon taking the pants home, I tried all 3 on (with the same pair of shoes I had them tailored with) and they were TERRIBLY short!!!!!!!! I'm talking the pants ended just slightly below the top of the shoe (I don't wear heels FYI). If I even leaned over a little, it looked like I was wearing high-water pants! I've spent the last few days calling them trying to see if I can have them fixed, but NOONE answers the phone. I'm going to go there today and demand my money back if they can't be fixed. World has really cheap prices, but we all know you get what you pay for. read more

My regular cleaners moved so I tried out World cleaners. Their prices are reasonable for dry cleaning but you get what you pay for. I brought my clothes here twice and never again. The clothes don't look clean nor pressed and does not smell fresh. This cleaner is horrible. Don't have to worry about me taking my clothes here ever again. read more

This cleaners has bleached my clothes, broken buttons, and lost items as well. I used this cleaners for about 1year. Then all of sudden they seemed to make more mistakes. The last straw for me was when I took a pair of pants there and pointed out stains with the red tape. When I got the pants home, I saw that all of the stains were still there. I just want to know what I am paying for. Needless to say, i won't be going back there! read more

This place is awful!!! I will never patronize them again. They have very poor customer service. I had the worst experience with them. I brought my daughter's gown to be altered. I had a bad feeling from the beginning and should not have left the gown with them. When I tried to ask any questions about the alterations that needed to be done, the seamstress that was helping us (and I use the word helping loosely) was rude and gave very short responses. Never the less, I was referred by a neighbor to them, so I gave them a chance. When I came back to pick the gown up the seamstress brought me the gown in the dress bag, but never unzipped the bag to show me the alterations that were completed. The seamstress proceeded to ring me up and tell me how much he services were. I told him that I wanted to see the dress first. When I unzipped the bag I saw a big grease stain! When I questioned the man about the stain he told me the stain was already on the gown. The gown came straight from the store and still had the tags on it, THE STAIN WAS NOT ON THE GOWN WHEN I BROUGHT IT TO THE CLEANERS. When I asked the seamstress why he did not clean the gown he proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay for it to be cleaned! Needless to say, I was furious!! I had to take my dress to another cleaner's and pay $22.50 to have it cleaned. I want my money back!! Now nobody wants to talk to me. The owner's name is Angelo. read more

I have be a loyal customer for 4 yr. I come into the cleaners to pick up my clothes and my white pants was dirty after I paid for them to be cleaned. They took them and said I will get them back in 2 days. I cam back as told he said they are not ready yet come back at 5pm. I said I will come back tomorrow he said ok. I came back and was told oh you need to come back they not ready? I said this how you talk to a good loyal customer? So I said ok fine just give me my dirty pants back and it ok. He said we can not give you them right now!! No people skills english is very poor and they treat good customers the same as if you was band new. I wonder if the Spanish customers get treated like that? Basically No apology just deal with with Sir... read more

If I could give a negative ZERO...this cleaners associates..RUDE!! I have brought several pieces of my clothing here and im not even geeeted appropriately. When I walk in I speak I have a smile on my face but after 3 or 4 times doing this without even an Hello. The seamstress acts as if someone has personally insulted his ass. His work is basic at best. I brought my coat to have buttons replaced and asked him to tighten the others of course when i got it back another button came off. The lady I've dealt with acts the same. Their cleaning was fine until my jeans, but I just dont want to spend my money where im not welcome. I'm bringing you business and I'm treated like my money is of no use. When i decide that i will no longer patronize the establishment I go to collect the last of my belongings I walk in and the girl sees me and rolls her eyes and the two of them look at each other..didnt speak, standing at the counter fiddle-faddling with papers..lets out a big sigh and sarcastically asks "how can i help" Let me say I have NEVER said 1 THING about this non-customer service until this review. I refuse to stoop to their level and act crazy. It probably would justify their means. They bring me my clothing and have faded an $80 pair of jeans. Of course when i ask, and show them a picture of the jeans before, they begin to speak in Spanish and LAUGH THE "SEAMSTRESS " LAUGHED and walked away leaving the girl there to act like she didn't understand me! I WILL NOT SPEND MY MONEY WHERE IM TREATED LIKE DOG CRAP! DONT NOT GO HERE IF YOU PREFER TO BE TREATED LIKE A CUSTOMER!! I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect. I'm not rude when I come in, not on the phone, I speak and and smile and in return I'm met with the stink face why?? Never again and if I see anybody going in I will tell them the same! read more
