Absolutely amazing. Went around 2:45am bc we were starving after a late night beach trip. The older gentleman im guessing owner was working and he was so kind. Pizza was amazing and delicious. Whenever I want 'healthy' pizza this is the place! Their dough doesn't taste greasy and the toppings are just enough but not over the top. I usually get the Hawaiian ham and pineapple which is my favorite. The family likes the combo one with all the toppings pepp, sausage, mushrooms, bell pepper, onion, etc. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the pizza. The parking is tight as it is in the prime location across from Saddleback college. There are many restaurants in the same plaza. Next door is the cute little French pastries cafe. read more

The guy at the counter is super rude and unhelpful! He did not want to be here for sure. Barely said hi, seemed truly annoyed when I asked what sizes they had (their menu was turned off), gave 1 word answers, didn't offer me a receipt. Pizza was OK Will not be coming back here. read more

placed an order through doordash and couldn't pick it up, called the store to tell them that and they told us to call doordash. we called doordash just for them to tell us the store marked the order as completed and picked up?? no clue why they did that when we literally called them and told them we were unable to come and get it and not to mention how unfriendly the guys was on the phone read more

This place is truly amazing! This man cooks such good pizza for the times that you can't get pizza anywhere, I've had pizza from many different places and have been treated poorly, not this guy, he gets to work, the aura of this place oozes of hard work and passion, this place has given me so many great memories, I'd even call it therapy, I trust this man very well with how clean and efficient he works compared to any place I've been to. I just found out that this place used to be Rubino's, our family's favorite place. We were so sad when they closed. I didn't know they moved locations and changed their name. I came by today to order and see if it was true, our favorite pizza is alive and well. It is! So delicious! I called the whole family with the address and new name. This pizza is amazing! read more

Ordered takeout via DoorDash because of the high ratings on DoorDash. The order, however, was delayed for various reasons. When the food came I was a little shocked at the size of the medium pizza for what you pay for. We ordered the everything pizza, garlic bread, and a custom calzone. All were good, though the calzone had a lot of extra bread. For the quality of food I'd give it a 4/5. For value a 2/5. Service 3/5 read more

My son brought home a pizza from here a few months ago and it was amazing. We get a pizza from here about once a week to once a month and never disappointed. The pizza is hand made by a man that really knows how to make pizza. We have never been disappointed. Seems like its a one man operation - always the same guy running and making the pizza. His English is limited and speaks directly, which I don't mind at all. He is not being rude like some others have commented. This pizza is delicious. The sauce is flavorful, without being too sweet or too salty. The crust is fluffy, chewy, and perfectly crispy on the edges. It is never greasy. I spoke with the owner on a visit and he said he has owned this pizza place for 5 years. He works the location alone, and seems to work very hard. I feel maybe customers think he is being "rude" but actually it's a language barrier since English is his second language. The place is organized and he seems to be getting allot of orders from all of the online platforms. The restaurant itself is closed due to COVID 19. He explained he had staff, but had to let them go due to business being very slow. I was impressed at how clean the kitchen was on my visit, and speaking with him about the business, along with what has happened since COVID 19. First a tiny back story. There used to be to be a WCP on Marguerite and La Paz near the Ralph's and I ate there once and once only. The pizza was nothing good. So much cheese you thought you were just eating a mozzarella cheese stick with little bread and a tiny bit of sauce. It wasn't well balanced. Then they closed. To now today. My bf ordered from here and I was skeptical from the start. I opened the box and my eyes were surprised to seeing what looked like a nice looking pizza. The chef who put this one together knew what to do and made it properly. No hate to this location at all FYI. Everything from the toppings, the sauce and the dough was great! I see a lot of mixed reviews and It seems the low scores are for service. It's a one man show during the pandemic so I think that should be considered. We tracked the owners down after 6 years and we were reunited with our favorite thick crust pizza! We love the cheese pull, the not overly salty sauce and the amazing thick crust. Walked by World Class Pizza in the beginning of December and my son said he wanted to try it out. It was this little hole in a wall restaurant. No space for dining inside, just a bench to sit at while you wait for your food to be prepared. There was just an older Asian man working by himself. He took my son's order. I bought him a cheese pizza with garlic added as well as an order of garlic bread. The pizza looked and smelled delicious. My son said the crust was really nice and it had that light dusting of flour. The sauce complimented the cheese and garlic pizza really well. He said it was so simple but was the best pizza he has ever had. As for the garlic bread, I could hear the crunch of it as he bit into it. It smelled amazing! My son could not stop raving about his food and said he's definitely going to bring his high school buddies with him at his next visit. read more

Dang the old guy that works here late night hates his job lol. I walked in to get some pizza and I ask him if he has slices still and he says no! And walks away haha. He asks me if I want to order I said yes and he just turns around and goes to the back. Doesn't even care that I was about to order some slices for myself and some pies for our Friday late night gathering. Just went next door and got Albertos. Too bad I couldn't try the pizza due to the terrible customer service. read more

WOW. I came to this area for Boba tea, and saw this pizza place next door so I thought I'd give it a try....This is the best pizza I have ever had. Really good pizza! The topping choices are great, really happy they had artichokes. The sauce is phenomenal too. One of the best sauces I've had. Would really like to see more crust options though. The fact that they're open all night is a huge plus and made for a good halfway food stop between LA and San Diego. Dine-in would've been great but the outdoor seating was good. I wanted to try out "World Class Pizza." The place was empty when I got there but it was clean. There was one guy running the place so I got a lot of attention. The decor was mostly long tables good for groups and parties. There are monitors with sports on and team promotions. So the place looks good for watching sports games over beer and pizza. I ordered a slice of pepperoni for like $3. The pizza was already made and kept in a pizza box. The guy took it out and oven heated it. It was cheap on the quality of cheese. The crust was thick. The sauce was tomato sauce-e. I think the quality is no better than Dominos pizza. My verdict is that the place might be good for watch a game over a beer but I would go there for the pizza. read more

As many people have mentioned before the gentleman working there is not rude. He was professional and courteous when my husband and I picked up our pizza. I ordered from Uber eats, and was given a 25 minute pick up window. When I arrived my pizza was hot and ready. The gentleman working was cutting up another customers pizza but acknowledged our arrival. He asked for our name and had the pizza ready along with the side of ranch I ordered. He handed us our pizza and wished us a nice day. For a pizza place to be open (pick up was at 7:20PM) and the gentleman working there by himself on New Years Eve was very helpful to me since I had no time to make anything for dinner today. The pizza had a nice not so thick crust. Did not skimp on the pepperoni (plenty on every slice) and chesse. It wasn't super saucy too so the dough still retained a crunch. Overall a solid place to order pizza other than a chain. They do have some calzones on the menu so I might try that next. Cheers! read more

Very tiny pizza for a very big price. I got the 8" pizza. The box is 8" but the pizza was closer to 6 1/2". Fake advertising in my book. And I asked for it with onion and if I got 4-5 slivers of one slice I'd be surprised. read more

There's even a large 24 hour fitness which turned into a different fitness center that you would think would help pump up the area, but I think that fitness place is also closed. The courtyard that second reef deli is located in has spaces for a handful of interesting food spots and could be a great place for people to socialize and hang out. There is a Mexican restaurant called flamingos located just behind the courtyard but I think that's more of a nighttime spot although they are open at 11 AM for lunch. With regards to the sandwiches at second deli, you really can't go wrong. The Sandwiches are all names of surf spots. I love that they serve sprouts and squaw bread which is really hard to find. The #11 Padang is really popular for the hot sandwiches as well as one called Blacks. That's a tuna melt! The Brooks on squaw and the Mavericks which comes on squaw are my favorite go to choices for cold sandwiches. I hope they continue to thrive in this location and that it improves around them. I've been a customer of theirs for at least 10 years!

Please, do NOT support this business!!! I'll try to keep this succinct so many details are omitted. The couple who own this pizzeria have been tormenting children in their neighborhood for years, and literally 50+ police visits to their house haven't deterred their disgusting behavior. The wife is a witch and screams at young children for playing, stalks them, films them, and reports them to the HOA as though playing is a crime. These are kids as young as 3 years old. She has even tried to run over young children with her car several times, unsuccessfully thank god. The husband is absent, sleeps at the restaurant, and lets his insane wife run wild at home with no supervision or support. For context, their own adult children won't even speak to them anymore. I've never published anything like this online before, but feel the need to do so now because the neighbors have appealed to the Police, HOA, and even Lawyers, but can't get anywhere following proper protocols. This review is based purely on service. And, purely on service, I will never be a customer at this restaurant. I went in to pick up a take-out order. As I entered, I informed the older Asian man at the counter that I was there to pick up an order. He confirmed the name with me, and proceeded to THROW the pizza at me across the counter. I asked him for the side of jalapeños that was supposed to come with the order, AND HE THREW THOSE AT ME TOO. Then, he yelled something at me in a language that definitely wasn't English, and waved his hands at me as if telling me to "get out." I WILL DEFINITELY NEVER SPEND MY MONEY AT THIS RESTAURANT AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW IN SOUTH COUNTY TO NEVER EAT HERE. read more

Ordered delivery a salad pizza and wings. The wings were low quality chicken full of hormones and fat no sauce just grease. The cheese on the pizza was chewy (low quality) the doe was undercooked, the salad was a salad didn't mess it up but all you have to do is cut fresh lettuce. When the delivery came the guy set my food on the floor instead of handing it to me. When I called in no one told me my total the delivery guy didn't tell me my total either. The guy on the phone and the delivery guy did not greet me nor have any enthusiasm. It's just not a good place at all terrible food terrible service and if they put my food on the floor on delivery I can only wonder how there kitchen is run. read more

My visit to World Class Pizza left me feeling disappointed and disrespected. The owner accused me of stealing a Coca-Cola from the fridge, which was completely unfounded. It was my first time visiting Pizzeria Amore today, located in a shopping complex in Laguna Woods…read moreI'd never been to before, and I chose to drive longer to visit this store than it would've taken me to get to Slice House in Fountain Valley by a Pizza World Champion, because my experience at Slice House last weekend wasn't what I really wanted in a cool pizza shop (a little too much of a bar vibe) and the other pizza places nearby with a nice vibe offer really great slices, but I wanted something filling or satisfying that would be affordably priced and made with quality standards I could trust. I was actually blown away by how genuine and warm of a person the owner was, and the New York style pizza slices on offer did not disappoint at all - they were fantastic & really hit the spot!! The veggie pizza slice was really wonderful with lots of clean, fresh, and properly-cooked veggies on top with a nice coat of mozzarella pizza cheese. The cheese slice itself also hits differently, in that because there aren't any veggies taking away the heat from the cheese component during the cooking process, the cheese cooks really nicely with an almost hot temperature and the tomato sauce under the gooey cheese layer was really amazingly delicious too. The cheese got to be a bit much in some bites towards the end so I pulled little bits of cheese off and it was really nicely integrated and came off with little bits of mini cheese pulls too. The crust was simply out of this world amazing, it was like sourdough almost but super soft and the perfect density, almost like a pull apart garlic knot kind of a texture (without the garlic). It was so impressive that I likened the crust here to Eric Kayser's patented liquid sourdough that his Parisian-based Maison Kayser is famous for. There were two other staff that I saw and/or heard during my visit today, and all three of them looked like such wonderful people, I really wish I could do a catering order with them or something, because their pizza is kind of a lot like Costco pizza, but way better quality so would present a lot better too! There are also a lot of more creative options to choose from, including Hawaiian and Chicken Alfredo, as just a couple of examples. Another really cool thing is that the TV inside their shop was playing a full feature film from The Lord of the Rings trilogy, which absolutely captivated me and just goes to show what trailblazers these guys at Pizzeria Amore really are. In short, the NY style pizza here is incredibly tasty and gets one of the top spots for pizza value... they might not always be crowded because Laguna Woods isn't a highly frequented area by those who don't usually have business there, but with everything else really making a lot of sense for this brand, I think the owner(s) could focus on maybe tightening up the menu design to be easier to read and choose from, having a more highly visible decal for their front entrance (seemed a little faded), add a few more NY decor pieces inside (there were some nice ones already there but more would give a better wow factor), and then market their brand as one of the best choices for NY style pizzas in OC that specializes in catering, events, etc. Also, they could look into helping someone who wants to sell something with a store in a store concept so that the commercial space is fully maximized. I really love this place & definitely am looking to visit at least once a month (since I only eat out sparingly on weekends) - thank you for the awesomeness!!

I did want to mention a quick issue I had with a recent Uber Eats order. I've actually had problems with Uber Eats on two separate occasions in the past and stopped using it, but I received a promotional offer and decided to give it another shot. Unfortunately, I received the wrong item with my order again. I honestly don't know whether the driver didn't check the order or whether the restaurant was given the wrong information. Either way, mistakes happen, and I don't hold that against the restaurant. What has always frustrated me with Uber Eats, though, is how difficult it can be to get problems resolved. In the past, restaurants have simply told me to take it up with Uber Eats, and Uber Eats has not been very helpful either, leaving you feeling like you're on your own when something goes wrong. This experience with Pizzeria Amore was completely different. The folks there immediately apologized, baked me a brand-new pizza, and even let me keep the incorrect pizza at no charge. They went above and beyond to make things right, even though the issue involved a third-party delivery service. These guys are true local business owners who genuinely know how to treat their customers. That kind of customer service is exactly why I'll continue making Pizzeria Amore my go-to pizza place. Highly recommend!

My son's t-ball team finished the season and the head coach organized a mini pizza banquet and Ball Park Pizza was chosen as the venue. I was excited for some good pizza as were all the children. The parents enjoyed the food and the kids played as 5- and 6-year-olds do. They discovered the quarter machines that dispensed various little toys and trinkets. My son had accumulated a handful of little figurines and had them lined up neatly on the table that he and his friends were seated at. He was proud of them. And then, the young lady employee came by, swept them up, and quite literally threw them into the trash can. We could not even salvage them because immediately after she did that, another employee came and threw a pile of dirty plates right on top of them. Why in the world would she do that? My son immediately began crying. The young lady could not care less. Prior to her doing this, she had scolded the children as they were playing in the empty dining area (it was almost 8pm - when they close). She had also spoken to a mom in a stern manner regarding the children. The children were not behaving disrespectfully or destructively. They were acting like typical 5- and 6-year-olds. The employee was clearly unhappy about something. As a group, we were nothing but nice to her so her anger and discontent were misplaced. Also, what could a shy little 6-year-old boy have done to her for her to treat him that way? My son was crying by my wife's side when I heard that this incident took place. My wife was upset because she witnessed the manner in which our son's little toys were thrown away. One of the managers was informed of this incident and she tried her very best to "fix" the problem but when one sees his young child weeping because of something a careless (and malicious in my opinion) adult decided to do to him, there is no way to rectify that situation. Something made her angry and she took it out on my son. She can treat me however she pleases. I'm grown. But it takes a special kind of human to treat a 6-year-old in such a terrible manner. I give the manager credit for accepting responsibility for her employee's conduct. The manager was genuine. She offered me complimentary items but I was not interested in any of it, especially since I had no intention of ever coming back. On the drive home, we had to explain to my son that there was absolutely no reasonable explanation for the way she treated him. He could not comprehend that an adult could treat him so poorly. How does one explain such an unjustified and horrible behavior to a 6-year-old? I suppose he learned a valuable lesson today. Until today, he had never met an adult that treated him like he was of no value. I will never go back to this restaurant unless our next team decides to do a get-together here and even then I would likely choose not to attend. That employee should be ashamed of herself. People often downplay poor behaviors of their children but my son is not that kid. He is very polite and rather quiet. I am furious that an adult would treat a very young child that way. Attached is a photo of the mean employee and the vending machines from which he got his little "treasures."
