I simply wanted to buy a car from this dealership and was told two different times by the salesperson he would call me back but never did.

They currently do not have good people running the service department. The person that overseas that repairs is actually okay. But he only handles the repairs. The people you need to deal with and help you with warranties and service contracts That is a total different story. What a disaster. They had a service manager, Joey. He was by far one of the best service managers i've ever dealt with in fifty years of doing business with dealership. He was honest on top of everything And above all I trusted him. They hired somebody recently who is cocky And is disrespectful and is more interested in his cellphone. When you have no trust with a dealership, you do not want to bring your car there. Considering I've bought 3 cars there since 2019 This is quite disturbing. I live in Gardendale but I'll now be traveling to Riverchase or Pelham. I cannot recommend their service department and I would suggest you start looking elsewhere. I don't even give them one start but I had to give something to post this review.

Two weeks later they said they were about to start working on the repair. Also, they called us a couple of weeks ago to ask us which loaner vehicle they gave us, as they were "checking inventory". We don't have a car from them, and were never offered one... Which honestly leaves me concerned that they lost an entire vehicle, somehow. We spoke to them last week and they mentioned that they needed to order an airbag part to fix an airbag light. (An airbag light was never on, and not the reason the car was brought in in the first place). The service desk employee acted surprised when we were confused about the mention of an airbag part, considering 6 weeks into the repair it's the first time they've ever mentioned anything being wrong with the air bag. In any case, I would scrap my car for parts before I ever sent it back to this Kia for a repair. Unsure what's going on, but we've been given the runaround for far too long.

He sent me detailed videos of the vehicle so I could see everything before making a decision, answered all my questions promptly, and kept me updated every step of the way. Jonathan handled the paperwork and financing seamlessly, making the process quick and easy. Best of all, they arranged for the Tahoe to be delivered right to my front door in South Carolina! The whole experience was smooth, transparent, and professional. If you want a team that truly goes above and beyond, ask for Tyrone and Jonathan--you won't be disappointed!

My Corvette sometimes wouldn't start, and I had just had an engine replaced in August. It turned out to be something as simple as the car being a manual transmission with a neutral lock--something no one at Edwards Chevrolet could tell me. This leads me to believe not only are the service clerks (Luci was a great clerk) unexperienced, but the technicians must not be very knowledgeable either. The service clerk Brooks literally told me over the phone, before he acted like a grown man, that no one wants to work on my car. I immediately replied, "Well then let me speak to a manager so I can figure out why." He then changed his attitude and started being professional all of a sudden. That made me suspicious. I told two managers at Edwards Chevrolet that their employee spoke to a customer in that way, and they didn't seem the slightest bit surprised. (Marty Phillips and a Mr. Short.) Manager Mr. Short at Edwards Chevrolet said there were cameras positioned at every bay and he would follow up with me to ensure there was no foul play with my vehicle on 10/16. Since then he's ignored my calls and texts. Marty Phillips didn't even care to investigate. He started mentioning how long everyone had worked there, as if that would prove I'm lying. After reviewing their work on October 16, I found three faults: Drained oil A hose that was detached and not placed back A connector disconnected from my starter I am a 27-year-old United States Army veteran, and I think this business is TRASH. No communication. No accountability. No integrity. I'm ashamed that an American business like Chevrolet is attached to Edwards. Very emotionally charged staff. Very unprofessional. Don't trust this dealership.
