I don't have a World of experience in this, but we have a relative who loves to tumble, so we "centre" to the Simone Biles gym, and it's probably been the best experience of her life. They should just rename it as the Simone Biles gym lol. The world's best gymnast has a bit of a hands-on approach here, I'm not sure how much of it she's actually behind, but it is actually a great gym, yes they care more about $$ than anything, but that is identical at every elite facility in Dallas and everywhere else. So we're big fans because of how passionately our niece loves it here, and we recommend it. read more

We have been apart of World Champion Centre for just over a year, but it honestly feels like so much longer. It's like being apart of a family. From the front office staff, to the coaches, to the owners, I can talk with any of them like I've known them my whole life. I ask a TON of questions bc I never did gymnastics and all this is so new to me and they always take the time to answer everything and not make me feel dumb for not knowing. My daughter is part of the xcel program and has grown so much in skills and mindset since joining. She feels like the coaches -Casey, Averie, Maggie, Cameron, Natalie, all of them, have seriously pushed her and supported her in her journey. Something I was worried about with joining a more competitive gym was the pressure and stigma that followed gymnastics through the 90's. Obviously a lot has changed since then, but even so I have never witnessed or felt like that here. Also, at a previous gym it was suggested and almost preferred that in order for your athlete to truly succeed you better get private lessons. This place does not do that. They offer them if the coaches feel it is truly necessary and beneficial but they don't push it like I've witnessed before. My daughter at one point was having a mental block with two skills and I was asking about private lessons but Coach Casey was confident we could work past it. Unfortunately comps were getting closer and so we ended up doing one private and it truly helped push her through it. The patience's and persistence with her is so appreciated. She's kind of a perfectionist and gets in her head (don't they all?) but all the coaches have a way of getting through to her and helping. I highly recommend this gym and the several programs they offer from young kids to big kids and by big kids I mean the amazing talented high school athletes in elite and 9/10 levels (which are so fun to watch). I am so grateful to watch my daughter grow with WCC and cannot wait to see how far she'll go in the sport. read more

Signed my daughter up for classes, she is only 3, she attended about 8 classes and she still doesn't know her coach's names. I don't know their names, they don't care to introduce themselves. They never greet us when we get there. She had to proactively ask for help every class with certain moves, they would just ignore her. there was no energy or excitement, the coaches acted like they didn't even want to be there. it's just there to make money. they don't care about the kids. read more

Lord, why didn't I read the reviews before taking my daughter here. I'm so glad I took her for the holiday 1/2 day camp because if I'd have signed her up for a membership, I'd be pissed. We already had to get up early because the camp was from 8am-12pm. Although I have to facilities near my home, I chose this one because of the history. 12-27-24.. walk in..the young lady at the desk greeted us and told us to go upstairs. But when we got up there..no one was out there manning the sign in sheets. So if you weren't smart enough to just find your child's name and sign her in, you'd be lost. Go in the room..no GM..Hello..Welcome..NOTHING.. I said..GM..silence..I repeated myself, GM..oh GM they chimed in. Then we're just standing there. I said sooo do she just walk in, what is she supposed to do. Oh just put your stuff over there in the cubey. Because I was working, I kissed my daughter and said I'd see her at 12pm. Come back at 12pm, again no nothing. I'm just standing there. A guy playing a big connect 4 with a child finally looks up, parent pick up? Yes.. My baby just so happened looks up and sees me. There was no, thank you for coming..we did this..she did that..see you again..NOTHING!! The icing on the cake was, my daughter asked me could she get a cookie, they had snacks on the table. I said yes, but when she comes back out, no cookie. I said what happened, she said they told her no. I was done then.. A Cookie??? I don't know who this gym really belongs to, but I wouldn't have ANY of these rude folks representing me. And by the years and months of these reviews, this is their norm. I'm so disappointed in this place. And she was upset when I told her she wasn't going back. I don't spend my money with these type of people who don't even have the common curtesy to acknowledge you or communicate with you. I definitely wouldn't have my name attached to it. Never again. We enrolled out daughter here and let me tell you, it has been so helpful for her. She has made ling lasting friendships and we noticed an improvement in her outlook as well. They have excellent trainers. It is in a very busy location which can be tough to get to, but well worth it for the high caliber gymnastics training. read more

My brother and my sister in law surprised my daughter for the two day practice session with the levels 7-10. My daughter was soo surprised and sooo excited. The first day we came in we actually saw Simone and my daughter was super excited because she is her favorite gymnast. We are from Virginia so a lot of what my daughter was used to was different when she came to the gym. My daughter loved it soo much working with Coach Bianca and Coach Mei. Literally had a talk with the family more likely in a few months we are thinking about moving down here. My 5/6 year old tried both the trampoline and power tumbling class for beginner. Online it said it was appropriate for her age. We showed up and age range is 8 to teens. I ask instructor is this okay? She said yes. After observing I figure out this is not appropriate. Everything from stretching to class is very haphazard. Not adequate spacing between kids. Jerky quick movements of everything. Not slow and controlled. All different levels. Kids randomly doing stunts throughout the class without even making sure there is space. The class itself is just watch and learn. Very little technique or move up to the stunt. Most of kids already know how to do everything in the class. So how is this beginner? The last straw is when a much larger kid fell on top of my child and luckily didn't seriously injure her. Yes my child shouldn't have walked behind her but class was so haphazard and chaotic I think she really was confused as to where she was suppose to stand and what she should do. So I didn't feel safe continuing her in this program. read more

Amazing staff, big building. I've seen my daughters strength and talent grow bigger and bigger. She loves gymnastics and the coaches are great. My only criticism is I feel like the classes are too big, but that's because this area is growing so fast. They definitely need more coaches, communication is great. My daughter loves the gymnastics program. Staff here is wonderful and have always been attentive. On the first day my daughter had a tough time adjusting and I feel they went above and beyond to make her feel welcomed. Only interested in BUSINESS and $$$! My daughter tried out for the competition a few months back team. She's new to gymnastics but gave it a try. The coaches were great during try-outs. However, we never received word on whether she made it. After calling and asking, we were rudely told by Laura that we "should have gotten an email". Well, we didn't, so all she had to do was answer my question which seemed like the most difficult thing at the time. My daughter didn't make it but is working her way to improve and learn what she needs to - all great lessons and no complaints there. Fast forward a few months, my daughter was excited to tell me about summer showcase for recreational classes and gave me a flyer. She's been practicing the routine for a couple of months now. Coach Maddie has been great with her. When I searched for the registration online (because yes there is a charge for everything) it was not there - only the June 17th showcase for the competition girls. I called, and my friend Laura of course "helped" me. "That registration closed - we're already past the deadline" she says. I explained the flyer didn't have a deadline. She again told me an email went out. I'm not sure what it takes to get on this email list, but I have once again not received their email or been informed of a deadline that is clearly not posted on the flyer. I remained calm and had my husband call to see if there's anything that can be done - he's much nicer than me. He spoke to a manager who is much friendlier than Laura. But, again they've already ordered trophies, so no room - not even a waiting list in case someone bails or gets sick. They were not flexible or understanding at all, and they will not even acknowledge there's a flaw in their communication system. They steadily draft my money every month, so why would they need to have good communication or customer service with me? So, disappointing because my daughter loves it and sees her friends there. World Champions Centre - please improve your customer service and train your people on the front lines to be kinder - it goes a long way. read more

This gym is only about money and has very bad customer service! My daughter was going to this gym for a year before I moved her to the new gym we go to Aim Athletics. World champions manager Adam Biles was very rude to me on the phone when I was trying to pay for my daughter's monthly tuition. I was told I was going to be charged a late fee of $25 dollars on the 5th, when I get paid on every fifth of the month. I explained to him I always pay on the fifth and the email that was sent to me from the gym stated to pay on the fifth to avoid late fees. The receptionist told me that she worded the email wrong & I was suppose to have it paid before the fifth. Mine you I pay them every month on the fifth. It wasn't a problem before, but now it is. I immediately told them either they waive this late fee or I'm leaving their gym. Adam then told me well bye over the phone. What person runs a business like this and talks to people so rudely but thinks you still have to pay them. I got off the phone and five minutes later went ahead and pay the tuition with the late fee with the receptionist. I told myself give yourself a month to find another gym for your child. Do you know Adam Biles calls me back to say I dropped your daughter out of her gym class and why did you pay? In that moment I knew I was definitely done with this gym!!! I told them cancel my payment and that day I went to Aim Athletics and enrolled my daughter. Aim Athletics receptionist was so nice and I have heard a lot of people are leaving this gym coming to Aim. Don't waste your time they are money hungry and rude to people on a daily. This was not my first time having a issue with their customer service but this was definitely the final straw. read more
